Do you guys use any VNC app (or anything similar) that will allow you to connect to your PC remotely from anywhere in the world? (outside your home)
Please provide the link.
Thanks.
RealVNC , LogMeIn, TeamViewer and Phone My PC all work fine for me. RealVNC was 50% off recently and still might be.
TeamViewer is the only free app out of the ones I listed here.
I like Pocketcloud.

Do you think it is better than the apps that was posted by the person above/before ( kable ) you?
I have used Pocket Cloud and it is pretty good. I am about to try Tonido as it seems to offer more flexibility by turning your Desktop into a personal cloud server. This allows you to share files by giving others a simple URL that they can download a file from. You can stream media to your device also.
Both are free and in the market.

Edited to add:
Tonido gives you a list of files on your computer and uses (I think) the built in editor to make changes.
The media is limited to mp3 and photos.
Looks clean and secure, check it out!
I use android-vnc-viewer.works well
I also gave droid vnc server instaled....

I use Teamviewer all the time. Simple and very reliable

RealVNC and TeamViewer, both of them are good!
I use PocketCloud with Remote Desktop enabled on my Windows computer. It works perfectly. I love how PocketCloud has that little cursor to make clicking easier. I also used LogMeIn for a while but you need a yearly subscription and you also need to buy the prohibitively priced LogMeIn Ignition for your phone.
i use Android VNC; so far so good. It works with RealVNC and other vnc server. Not sure about teamviewer; it work well on PC but mine got problem with Android. And I think cannot get Free Teamviewer apps for Android.

Go grab Audiogalaxy from the market. It streams all your personal music to your phone or in this case G-Tablet. Tested and working on TNT lite 3.12. Enjoy!

This works externally on any wi-fi service. You do not have to be connected to your home network to connect to your music. You can get it from any wi-fi. On your phone, this will allow you to stream your music anywhere on 3G or wi-fi

I access my music in gmote on 3g from anywhere in the world i just forward the right ports from my ip address and access all the files without needing wifi on my droid at least, since there is no 3g on the gtab maybe i will try this program. thanks for the info.
There is almost zero setup on this application. Download the app to your android device, then download the app on your PC and just point it to folder you want it to watch and magic-tastically it shows up on your android device.

I use Android VNC with Tight VNC Server running as a windows process on my XP machine. You will, of course, have to port forward your firewall to the VNC server (5800 and 5900 TCP/UDP I think).
Now if only I had a newer TV with higher resolution...
on second thought, I would never leave the couch.
Logmein Ignition is really good, use it for work and its very fast and smooth would highly recommend..!
I second Teamviewer
I second WYSE Pocket Viewer, the free version lets you connect to 1 desktop.. I connect to VNC server .. It has good data compression algo, so even on 2G its usable.. On 3g and WiFi this simply rocks

I would second Teamviewer. It is fantastic and I would use it exclusively except that you can't use TV to do WakeOnLan. If it had that, it would be 100% perfect.
Use TeamViewer, it's fast and it's free.
Splashtop Remote is the newest and fastest remote client. It is fast enough to play movies and games off your PC and on your phone.
I use both TeamViewer and Unified Remote - TV for general purpose control and UR for special applications like VLC and power point presentations. No problems encountered so far.

This did it for me.
I use teamviewer as support for my friends computers.
Splashtop is great in the sense that it forwards the sound from your computer to your phone or tablet, where teamviewer lacks that.

+1 Splashtop. Use it on all my phones and tablet for multiple PCs. Works great, very fast and fluid.
hello to all! one question.. i want to buy a nas for save my photo - mp3 - documents from my note to it. do you know if it's possible? how can i do that? thank you
Look into the synology devices. They have android apps for music and photo.
So i could upload file to my nas with an app for android?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
I can highly recommend a synology too. If you get one check synodroid if you're into torrents.
And yes, you can upload from anywhere to it. I do it via ftp.
Sent from my HTC Runnymede using Tapatalk
just use something like andsmb in market, and use whatever network share or nas...
Id agree synology have always satisfied my needs great value great frontend great compatibility
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Does that work over a wan link or just lan?
Sent from my HTC Runnymede using Tapatalk
it just connects to whatever ip you want
thank you very much for answers. could you please give me a model of sinology product? Dlna capable?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
All recent NAS are DLNA compilant. Of all known manufacturers.
The best known manufacturers are Synology and QNAP. I own one of both and I actually prefer the QNAP to the Synology, QNAP seems more "adult", more serious, than Synology with all the flashy and glimmery interface. Unfortunately my TV did not work well with the TwonkyMedia server QNAP uses in their products, so I had to use the Synology as my main NAS.
Every NAS known to me offers FTP and SMB access. Android can do both with the right tools at hand, so you can even chose what kind of connection you'd like.
You could check out Foldersync from the Market. It can sync with a lot of services/protocols incl. Webdav and cifs. I use it to autosync some stuff every night from my phone to my home pc. It also have tasker support, so you also could start the sync right after you come home and it connects to your home wifi...
Hey,
I'm looking for a good Remote App to Control my PC...
I tried Splashtop 2 HD, not bad, but in free Version only Wlan works.
before i buy it, i want to test some other Apps, any suggestions?
what about different resolutions between Tab2 10.1 and PC...
Thanks SG+
I use and love, xtralogic's remote desktop client. Check it out
PlayStore
I am using same app for RDP (Xtralogic's Remote Desktop Client) and sometime using TeamViewer (You must have TeamViewer installed on your PC)
thanks,
still testing, TeamViewer looks good... maybe to many notes that it's free
oh I want using 3G and WiFi
Crazyremote sends sound and responses very quickly...

Teamviewer. No doubt. Unless you want that extra tiny bit of speed that an RDP connection would offer on WiFi.
Logmein ignition download it from aptoide

Can anyone recommend a good Windows RDP client for android or one that you use on the odd occasion? If it can do VNC as well I won't complain.
What about teamviewer? Works wonders for me. Use it a lot for my work. Even file transfer works
Sent from my LT30p using xda premium
I used 2X for ages - its free and does Windows RDP. I found changing the mouse mode from simple to advanced (or something like that) made the user experience much better.
More recently I've been using Pocket Cloud Pro. It's pricy but more than worth it and supports RDP with/without NLA and can do VNC as well.
If I helped hit thanks!
try teamviewer it's free for private use and works very well
