hey XDAs,
i got a arc launcher that already comes with a themed dock.
now i wanted to change the dock and i got this folders where i replaced this file with another .png of the same size.
when i try to install the launcher i get "application not installed" error.
do i need to change more than just the icon or what did i wrong?
so....nobody?
got the same error with app icons, too.
Should work if not you could try to recompile the apk with new png.
How did u install it? Flash via CWM or copy over?
1. Did u remove previous version first? Must be done first unless your flashing via cwm.
2. Also with framework dependancies etc remove any arc widgets prior to installing, install arc launcher then reinstall or copy over widgets again.

hey,
thx for your advice but i already managed it on my own
How would I install the Addons, ie. the clock and lockscreen, for the MIUI Theme ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189723 ) onto my phone correctly.
I already have the theme itself installed, but with the Clock and lockscreen I have to replace files in the framework apk and the deskclock apk... and that's where I get lost, which files do I replace?? I tried it once with the framework and tried to replace the framework apk on my phone with my "edited" one and it got me stuck in a bootloop, so I just re-flashed cm7 to get out of it. With the deskclock, I tried replacing and installing it onto my phone, but no app came up :/ any ideas?
I'm running this ROM which is based on AOSP 4.0.4. I know that AOSP doesn't include, by default the toggles on the status bar, but I would like to know if there's a way to get them anyway without installing an app (need to save memory)?
The apps that install the toggles are not heavy at all..you can install it without use much memory, otherwise for add the toggles without install any app you need to modify systemui.apk...if you don't know well how to do, it's quite difficult
Thanks you. Since you talked about modifying SystemUI.apk, I think I'm going to try using the SystemUI.apk file from another AOSP ICS Rom which include these toggles. I'll make a backup in ClockworkMod before, in case it doesn't work. I tried to use Notifications toggles from the Play Store but it doesn't work.
I tried to flash a zip, in order to replace systemui.apk, but it didn't work, it led to systemui.apk force-closing itself after booting the phone. I had to restore my previous config from ClockworkMod recovery. Then I tried Power Toggles from the Play Store, no force close this time, but after rebooting, I still didn't have any toggles on the status bar. Can anyone tell me a good app from the Play Store which will work on Android 4.0.4 AOSP?
I succesfully decompiled (using apktool) my current working systemui.apk from my oldDroid AOSP rom. Now, what do I need to add to the source code to get the toggles?
my xposed installer and xthemengine works
i downloaded a sample theme, and in xthemeengine i can choose and select it
but i wanted to install blue infinitum, it is on google play store and there are many links on google
does someone have a link to blue infinitum that installs on android 4.4.4
