Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue that I am having with 1.2 rooted with Manual Nooter 4.5.6. I am not able to add events to my calendar. When I attempt to add an event the "Loading calendars" message appears and gets stuck there. Calendar won't sync, and won't let me add any events. Anybody else experiencing this? Know of any solutions? Thanks.

I don't believe they have Calendar working according to the 4.5.6 dev thread.
Thanks. I tried to find an answer in there... I guess I didn't look hard enough. I had also been having issues with connecting to Google Talk and thought they might be related, but have since resolved my Google Talk and Market download issues but calendar still isn' t working. Hopefully they get it working for the next update.

I updated the facebook app and I noticed that it's not synching my contacts anymore. I tried to go on the account & sync section of the settings and it doesn't allow me to add a facebook account. The option is there but when I press it nothing happens.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to fix it?
I have had the same problem with CyanogenMod for a while.
I uninstalled Facebook, and installed it from market again. And voila!
However, to uninstall it i think you need to be rooted
no problem for that, I just installed cyanogenmod too thanks for the advice. this is a major problem though for whoever is not rooted....
I had the same problem. (search my threads).....
all I did was log off facebook app and log back into facebook app and it seems to be working fine now.
the facebook app isnt really consistent in general, maybe its just me, but it never alerts me even tho the notifications are ste to "on" and its not as robust as the iphone app but its all good it will happen sooner or later
Hey guys,
I was wondering, if anyone else has experienced this.
I use the HTC Calendar Agenda widget on one of my home screens, and sometimes it seems to never load entires. The calendar also does this at this the same time. The loading icon appears, but not entries ever appear. Anyone else got this problem?
Thanks
Lots of views, so I assume that no one else has had this problem? Any ideas for a solution.
I have had this problem aswell. I noticed a few times that it done it when the sync icon was displayed.
Will monitor this to see if it only happens when the handset is syncing.
Just seen my handset starting to sync again so i opened the Calendar and it has stopped at the Loading... screen again. So looks like it is waiting for the sync to finish before showing the agenda.
Is this the same with your handset?
Ok sync now finished. As soon as it finished the agenda displayed instantly.
I will need to check if it only happens when the phone is syncing or not. Thanks for the info though.
Hey guys, I will see if I can replicate and fix this problem. I can think of a few reasons it might happen so hopefully I can squeeze a fix into the next release.

I am confused. The next release of what exactly?
I am simply using the HTC Agenda widget, so I don't see how you can fix it?
Lol, sorry, I thought you meant Android Agenda Widget
I think it is still a bug in AAW so I will try and fix it anyways
I'm still getting problems with this if anyone can help?
i had this problem too, i deleted the calenda data and let it redownload events from gmail and now its is fine
Cool. Thanks mate. Is there a fast way of deleting all the data? Still fairly new to Android

I think the way to do it would be to goto your Account & Sync options and remove and re-add your google account.
Unless there is another way

actually the way i did it was go into settings, applications, find the calendar and select clear data
then just wait till it syncs to gmail and downloads all your events again

Just to update, i done this and all seems to be working fine for now.
My Facebook birthdays and events disappeared also and wouldn't come back, so i cleared my Facebook for HTC Sense data also and went through the setup wizard for Facebook again. After sync they all appeared again fine.
So far calendar is running smooth. Fingers crossed it continues.
Hey guys,
Just flashed to my first ROM, Cognition 3.02. I love it so far, but the only problem I'm experiencing is retrieving attachments from the new gmail app. If I click on "preview" next to an attachment in a gmail email, it looks like it is going to open up QuickWord, but then it just goes back to the screen with the email on it. Anyone experiencing the same problem? If so, how'd you fix it? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think posting this question on Cognition might get help quicker.
All I can suggest is uninstall office and gmail, and re-install them. Since gmail is a system app, I would suggest a reboot after uninstalling.
I did do a search for this issue and there are other folks having this issue in the Development Forum, but I can't post on that forum.
Used ManualNooter 4.4.27 for 1.2.0 (worked great by the way! Thanks). I can not figure out how to get my google calendar to sync. I have tried the "add account" again procedure, didn't work. Won't accept a dup. account (never had that popup before).
I have tried deleting my gmail acct in the new NC stock email app. and that didn't help.
Went in to Nook Color Tools, to Manage Apps and cleared defaults and data, didn't help.
Anyone have any idea? Oh yeah when I go to gmail, accounts, account settings and click settings for gmail, under Data & synchronization, syn calendar is not listed. Thanks!
I am having the exact same problem and trying to figure out what to do. Anyone else with the same problem?
I know some other folks have posted the same problem on the developer page, but so far have not read any fixes. If you hear of anything pls let me know.
Using CM7 and every so often Gmail mail sync gets unchecked. When I go back in to accounts and recheck it, it syncs successfully. Calendar and contacts never unchecks. Anyway to resolve this?
Thanks.

I have run into this form time to time also. Someone on the cm forums also reported this for the heroc. No confirmation if it's a heroc issues, cm7 issue or a gmail issue. The cause is thought to be some issue related to not being able to sync for a certain time, i.e. loss of signal, or possible airplane mode, and then gmail decides to stop trying to automatically sync.
I also have the issue with google+
I can confirm that I have exactly the same problem. I use a zte blade with CM 7.1 stable release. I use the gmail app.
Any solutions?
i have this issue too htc legend
Try updating your gmail apk or roll back one.
