When I was following http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1327599 for my first time rooting, I encountered problem in Step 5. (Install Busybox.)
After I pressed install in the bottom, an error message poped up
Installing BusyBox v1.20.1 failed
We have detected that your system cannot function with this version of busybox.
Please try installing a different ROM or fixing your system.
Error.
reloc_library[1311] : 9287 cannot locate 'android_reboot'...
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE.
Please help me, I am noob on android and extremely confusing in the moment. Thank you in advance:good:
Try to install this one instead. If that does not work make sure you system partition is not full (by uninstalling some useless system apps first.)
Thanks it worked!:highfive:
I will try to install rom later.
Hi all,
I have serached in the forums and can't find a solution for this issue.
I need to update to latest version but when i try and install the .apk i get the following error:
"an existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed".
Under Framework of the installer I have already uninstalled and used the Clean up options and rebooted each time.
Any ideas?

I have the same problem, what rom are you using? i'm on Phoenix 18,5 for the note 2
I know XDA does not tolerate LPatcher, but that's where it gets handy.
First, try to just install and run LPatcher. It will delete all of unused .odex files which may fix the problem.
If it doesn't, go to "Toolbox > Patch to Android", check "Disable signature verification in the package manager" and "Disable .apk Signature Verification", hit apply, wait. If for some reason it results in a bootloop, just clear cache & dalvic cache. After successfully applying, install Xposed apk. After installing, you can remove the patches from Android and delete LPatcher. PM me if you need the link to download LPatcher.
hello,
I once installed xposed on LG G3 via recovery before the updated version.
it was working, but only when i changed to permissive.
now with the updated xposed, when i try to install from the app itsef it says my phone not compatible.
"Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 21 or your preccessor architecture (armeabi - v7a)
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/chache/app_proccess"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
i saw other writing about their d855.. it means the problem is on my phone?
anybody had this issue too?
also i cant remove xposed, says it cant find a backup.
thanks !
I am by no means an expert so the following is only related from my experience,no warranty is implied or given, but this was the first rom I have flashed etc and I only did it last night
Once I put lollipop on to my phone as per this post xposed would not install via the app itself after reading the various threads I found this
[OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop followed the instructions and xposed was installed.
Not sure if I went wrong somewhere but this threw up an issue with lgquickcover not working , some more reading found this booted to recovery using the power/volume key method and flashed the zip from here and the issue was resolved
I think it is worth mentioning xposed is only at alpha at the moment and as such some modules ( in particular g3tweaks I miss it ) do not work
working here. (lg g3, d855, blisspop v2.1 with selinux status already set to permissive)
xposed should say
Xposed on LG G3 D855 - error armeabi and libdvm.so - update ?
hi there,
any update regard this ?
I'm able to install / uninstall the "Xposed install" app but, cant get it install/update due to those errors:
Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 21 or your preccessor architecture (armeabi - v7a)
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/chache/app_proccess"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
a[[_process - 58
xposedbridge.jar - 54
Phone is root
Android 5.0
core 3.4.0
V20h-ISR-XX
is there a workaround or something ?
i had similar problems on my g3 (d855) on lollipop, then i tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/tool-installer-xposedlg-g3unofficial-t3094514
and problem solved. good luck !!!

as i can see in the picture you are using CWM. I did it with TWRP. you can try....
hi @ludstr and @rhystagram
i found another solution. you need to install xposed for lollipop 5.1 instead of xposed 5.0. here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
Hi , I once flashed xposed in my g3/D855 stock rom and get cover error so I renamed lgcover.apk in twrp recovery and problem solved , now I changed my rom into cm12.1 and NOT instaled xposed , is there any way that I can make my smart cover work again ? if not would restoring to stock rom make the cover work again or ... ?

As I can see you don't have a custom recovery, like TWRP, first you need to do is root "if your phone is rooted then skip this" then download an app called "Flashify" then go to this thread and download the latest TWRP and make sure it is unziped, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-2-8-2-0-t2966129
then open Flashify, Grant for root access, then select flash recovery and then select the recovery boot.img file and flash it after that you should be OK.
then try and flash the xposed framework zip and you should be good to go
hope this helped you
PS see this before flashing xposed

Hello all
I'm stuck here.
I have a Huawei P9 running on TWRP 3.1.1.1 and EVA-L09C432B390 with SuperSU on EMUI 5.0 installed.
I need to preface here that I never did any backups during my operations, so just assume that there is no backups and we start from scratch (please keep the shaming to a reasonable level).
I was too reckless when deinstalling some system apps and it caused the classical problem of all the google apps and services not working anymore. I also inadvertantly deleted the stock launcher, but the rest of the stock firmware seems to still be working fine
To make it worse, I then tried removing all the google apps to reinstall them but realized that it's not possible to remove all google services using a simple root explorer/file deleter. When I try to adb install a gapps zip, I'm getting an error: Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_VERSION_DOWNGRADE]
I tried downloading the firmware to flash it anew, but that didn't work. I downloaded B390 on this a website, to which XDA doesn't let me post a link because new member, GG, but apparently TWRP can't find ZIPs to flash when they're in the internal storage, and my SD card doesn't hold enough space for all the zip files.
I tried sideloading the update.zip file, but i get the error: * cannot read 'update.zip' * , I also get the same error for the file "update_full_EVA-L09_hw_eu.zip"
However, the file update_data_full_public.zip seemed like it worked, but after rebooting to system nothing had changed.
I have managed to "reinstall" Play Store but I can't start it, with the error popup: "Install core GMS packages to use Google Play Store"
At this point, I just want to start anew with stock firmware EMUI5.0, and if I have to also with stock ROM, So I can start anew with TWRP and the rest and not **** up this royally the second time.
Thanks for your time
EDIT: Went into eRecovery, but the recovering process fails at "Getting package info from server" with the error message "Getting package info failed".
I also tried installing a pico package on opengapps but that didn't work either, I'm still getting the Core GMS error message when trying to open play store.
I need to uninstall magisk because the last update stuck my tablet in a bootloop I downloaded the uninstaller found here on the github get an error when attempt to install it
it just says
updater process ened with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file
