Screen tap location? - Android Themes

Does anyone know of a way to show screen tap locations on the screen?
Windows has an accessibility option for mouse clicks. Something like that. =P

If your phone is rooted then I believe you can do that through the developement app. Or you can try this https://market.android.com/details?id=multitouchpro.tests&feature=search_result

Touch Screen APP

Anybody know of an app for the kaiser that has touch screen functions. Like say you tap the today screen twice in a row it shuts the screen of, or something like that, would be pretty nice. ANy ideas?
wktask has that feature, but its in the upper corner. Preferences -> action -> tap in today -> suspend
i love wktask
Great, thanks i'll look into that. So it's not as easy as tapping directly on the screen? I have to go to specific place? Not just suspend, but can i also launch different programs with different pattern touches?
Well, wktask has many features built in. Its basically a task manager, displays running tasks on the top bar, kind of like a desktop(with icons that you can click on). Its great for switching programs/ closing them all. It also has a program launcher that you can map in the action tab, such as verticle scroll. So thus, most of the actions must be in the top bar.
I see. I like the htc task manager and since that app doesn't really do stuff my touch screen recognition, i'll just stay with the htc one. Thanks a lot though.

Rotate Screen With Touchflo gesture?

I'd like to set my Touchflo gesture, left to right, to rotate my screen, but i'm not sure how exactly to do so. i got as far was the part where I reconfigure gestures, but within the listing of programs, I don't know what to select. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
i think theres an app to rotate the screen.
i think it comes with htc home.
Yea, there's one there, but do you happen to know what its name is, so that I can find it in the massive directory of all .exe's that opens when i go to configure a gesture?
yeah thats the problem.
i know folderview.exe is link to programs but i dont know about the screen rotate

[Q]app to disable touch screen while reading

Before you think i'm crazy let me explain why i want it.
I want to be able to hold my nook however i want with out the fear i might turn the page by accident. Where it my be my fingers touching the screen, the sheets or cookie crumbs.
So, im looking for an app that will disable the touch screen and can be linked to a hardware button(any turn page button, probably the left ones as i use those the least) whether by script of done by the app itself.
CoolReader have a possibility to disable touchscreen while reading. It can be assigned to some of the page-turning buttons - press a button, double press or long press.
I tried some tool called Screen tools 1 and i manage to "disable" touch but it would disable the buttons as well. I'll try coolreader, thanks for the tip

[Q] Hidden "Dock" swipe in from side??

argh!
I'm going nuts trying to find an app I had installed on a device i once owned.
It was a widget that let you swipe in from the side of the device and the when you did it had a "dock" of customizable short-cuts suddenly appear.
It was a great way to keep a minimalist screen but have very quick access to a large number of apps.
Anyone know what it is I'm talking about?
Swipepad?

I have since switched to Virtual Button bar, as I found it more useful than Swipepad
ahhh thankyouthankyouthankyou!
That was exactly what i was looking for!

Anyway to configure the hard press home button area to turn off display?

I used to have double tab nav bar to turn off display on my previous Pixel and Nexus phones (rooted of course) but don't have a nice way to configure it here.
I ended up downloading Custom Navigation Bar (app) to add two buttons to the side but they're for "menu" and "search".
If there isn't a way to configure the hard press I'll just change one of the above to do it, but I like having those two options as well on the lower part of the phone.
This is perhaps not what you want, but I'm using Nova launcher and I set it to lock the phone at a double tap. Of course, this doesn't work if you're in another app, but I go to Home anyway before I lock the phone.

Click to collapse
yeah i'd like to have something that can be used from anywhere. also nova's screen lock feature hard locks the phone, requiring a pin/pattern unlock (not the face/finger print unlock). i have my bixby button remapped to do this, just for that super rare occassion when i'm someplace and need my phone locked immediately.
