Is me or does it seem like there isn't that must interest in full scale flashible themes for this phone? There are definitely a few great themes available but other than that there does seem to be much going on in the thunderbolt world. I know the phone hasn't been out long but as time goes by it seems that there is less interest than there was at the beginning. I would love to start seeing some more ports , that would be great. Anyways just thought I would share my piece of mind. I do want to thank any and all of those who have put time and effort into making themes for this phone because without you guys this phone would be bland just like any other non themed phones

I was hoping to have one together by now but I'm catching hell from my wife about the time I'm spending on this phone. I've taken a break but plan to put together a theme with red icons, I was also starting work on a white theme with black Icons and text but my favorite white theme is being worked on already.

**** I cannot theme a damn thing I dont have the skills I wish i did. Anyways its not sense thats the issue because coming from the Incredible there were loads of themes.
The incredible was out for how long... Over a year. The thunderbolt has been out for a few months. Honestly I think there is a lot of stuff for this phone for the short life span. I'm loving every minute of it.. give it time. There will a lot more with time

I'm not sure how the Inc was but HTC has split everything up and added a ton of stuff, which I don't think the INC had, that most people haven't learned yet

100% true....but it's not just Cyanogen it's all AOSP ROM's compared to Sense. There is so much interconnected stuff in Sense it's not funny.
On top of it all the htc.resources.apk has over 1700 images and that's only 1 app.

Are there any ASOP roms yet besides CM7? All the ones I've downloaded that say "ALL Sense removed" still have some sense and the htc.resources.apk

No, not yet, CM is the only one for the Thunderbolt as of now (that I know of). I was really just speaking in general about any HTC phone that has Sense and AOSP ROM's.

Agreed with the ridiculous resources folder, so many images used all over the place, cant even make sense of most of them, and just when you think you finally got them all, you have to hunt for 1 more (rinse repeat x100!) Every night for the last month I have gone to bed cursing the HTC devs.
Happy to say though I do have a new theme, hopefully it'll drop this weekend, just finishing up a few extras. And getting last input from the testers.
currently running on the infected rom but will quickly be ported to BAMF

I actually tried the Panda Home Hero home replacement, and it looked pretty good, except for the little bit of text at the bottom that reads "Light Version" or something to that effect. Is there any way to remove that, or am I just being hopeful? I don't really feel like paying for a paid version, especially now that Cyan's been able to get past the whole video thing, developers of Sense roms will hopefully be able to start producing roms with working video cameras. Just my opinion.

If you really look around the web, you can find websites that have the paid apk file for panda hero. I would post the file here, but I don't want to get banned, The only problem I have with panda is that it doesn't change your status bar, nor icons to match sense ui. I think someone made an espresso theme, I will check it out....

It is a little bit better, but I was hoping for a the hero version, not the espresso kind. All the sky blue and pink colors is annoying after a while. I guess beggars can't be choosers...

I've been using this theme, which is pretty similar. It works just fine on kaosfroyo 28.
im using it with no problem... the MM version anyway...

The only thing working for me are the widget themes. When I try flashing anything else it puts my phone into a boot-loop, and the only way to fix it is to go into recovery and do a restore.
You do need Launcherpro plus to get the widgets, then applying the theme to them should be no problem.
If anyone was able to find that "simpltext" doc them please let me know because I searched on the makers website and found nothing, thanks.

This happens sometimes. What you need to do is go back into Metamorph and choose pick existing theme. Scroll through till you get to the XML file and tap that and it should give you the choices to theme which app(s). Thanks to RangeStang for giving me this pointer. Hope it helps you too.

asking for it is weak, but 10 pounds isn't that much. if you were to cut the cost between 3 or 4 people it would be relatively cheap, make everyone's devices look super clean, and save someone else the hastle of trying to port.
i really like this theme. what i'd LIKE to do is speak to some devs who have experience modifiying Sense, etc. (e.g. Konikub, the original dev for Aloysius). Sense with a modified Rosies and the full Minimal Matte theme throughout all Sense apps would be badnasty.

haha... nice... i'm sure we have enough people that want it and would donate a little here and there... I'm trying to find out if I can accomplish this myself first... there is a theme converter in the Android development section and I'm seeing if can be used... then I would share of course!

What i'm saying is no matter how many times i download the theme, when i open it on my desktop it always has a missing .xml file.

the MM doesn't skin the Launcher Pro Plus widgets... that is what I want the most of all from that theme... i got the framework from the MM(except the status bar didn't work...) but i really want those widgets...
wasn't able to port it correctly.... sorry.... going back to the MM... that seemed to work the best for me...
I haven't tried pushing the apk's yet... so thats my next attempt
has anyone else tried pushing the widget apk's and if so, did you succeed? If you're using Apps2SD where do you push to?
Hey, I'm having a similar problem. I found a CM6 build for Eris, then used MM to put on the theme since it wasn't working on my KaosFroyo ROM.
I have the status bar and notifications working great with it, but I can't figure out how to get the widgets and the icons.
I cant find one anywhere....well i found this one, but when i flash it, it goes back to cm6.0...doesnt stay to cm6.0.2, shoot, id even take that one, anything beats the stock theme!!! remember, im looking for a Flash theme. i dont like using side apps to make a theme, just because it takes up memory, kinda like "winterboard" for iphone. and 2nd, its an aria...the phone is awesome, just wish it had that nexus one performance!

I think you want to look for ADW.Launcher themes and they are different for the 2.2 android version. ADW has released 3 or 4 on there web site.
agreed im looking for a good flashable theme as well...not something to use through adw launcher....besides i modified my zip rom and i use laucher pro...wich doest have themes...so if anyone knows of a place to find flash themes please share it

The only way I've been able to make changes is using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=775970. Other than that there really is no other flashable theme that I've found to work. Please post anything you guys find.

thanks for this link...i just tried this and its awesome for some reason the aria isnt getting any love when it comes to the flashable themes...but its getting love in other places so thanks to all the developers who put the free time into making our aria better...and thanks again zeyoner for this link

I've been searching high and low for themes and nothing. There's only one and it's called extreme blue. If you want the link I can dig it up for ya. It's not a flashable theme it's a whole ROM install.

Give it just a few more weeks! Since the stable build of CM has been out, its not too far behind that someone will have some decent themes. I am learning, and going to work on 1 myself.
It's sad that there is sooo much support for themes in other forums.
Agreed other phones are getting plenty of theme love...but the aria just ain't getting it....but hopefully it will soon

I agree it's an ok theme, I grew tired of it pretty quick. I've attempted to contact creators of other themes that I like that are avaliable for the G1 but no replies. I guess not too many people have the Aria.
well whatever you guys figure out. i wish it looked like bx-destiny.but instead of orange and black...what about a deep blood red color. anyways...i loaded it on one of the earlier alpha releases of cm6, but there is no wipe to answer or the end call button....weird...i guess not set up for the aria, which is nothing but a touch-screen. anyways....if anyone could figure out if we could get that theme for our phones, i think id stop *****ing about themes. id like a professional/fun look to it w/ black widgets like google search since i use that thing like underwear. any help would be greatly appreciated. and there has to be the "Aria Samaritan" somewhere right???
right then, ill pray for the Aria Saint who creates this theme.....

I so agree I too like and installed the Bx-destiny by LordSeth theme on a earlier version of cm6 for the Aria and had the same issues, with the newest cm6 release it doesn't work at all. I even posted complaining and asking if there is any plans to release a Aria version and got no answer. The creator doesn't seem to know english very well either. I would really love to see that theme on the Aria. I'm ok with the orange, red would look nice and so would a nice blue. I'm not picky!

I like this theme, but do not thank me. I didn't create the theme. The nice guy at sdx developers did. I don't claim any credit. Only posted it here, because no one knew about it.
Man are you guys hungry for themes or what? I just posted my teaser last night at SDX and its already over here. I plan on adding more and more as time goes on but no promises as its just a time killer for me. Go Epic!
P.S. thanx for the feedback that it works on other roms. I think as long as they are de-odexed it should be fine. And the android raises his arm for a few of the battery reporting stages as it was taken from one that didn't have enough images.

I have used Das BAMF ROMS since I got my TB. Been using the Remix versions and "tweaking" them abit for my taste. Made the plunge to Sense 3.0 and love it. I would love to see if BAMF could create a REMIX version that had the following:
-BAMF logo in the lockscreen circle.
-3D mod baked in
-transparent pulldown notification/ 5 bar signal
-the black dialer
-black market
-Transparent clock BG
-soft key menus like the FROYO remix.. transparent/just icons (if possible - most customizations seem to need the Stock HTC skin)
-full screen friend stream - black/semi-transparent
-BAMF boot animations and shutdowns
-4x5 APP drawer semi-transparent
-non paginated scrolling
-black MMS
-black Email
All I can think of ATM..

No definitely not, don't do that! Typically us BAMF'rs don't request updates or anything along those lines! If it drops it drops...It's more along the lines of hush hush and checking the forums frequently for updates, it's just not discussed!

it's the best 3.0 sense I've tried. So much more stable than any of the others and chock full of features. I put the dark horse theme on it. Looks as good as it performs...
and OP, just be patient. They don't usually have a remix version of the ROM until it hits "release" status. So wait until then for theme requests, right now, they're all busy with the actual ROM

Correct, that was for the theme shop.
Regarding the Remix version, I can only speculate but, I don't see it happening until the "Final" version of the 3.0 rom comes out.

Hmm, I must have misunderstood that tweet. I thought it was regarding a different phone, but if it had to do with this rom & phone, it sounds amazing.

From what I am seeing/reading, it looks like this is the best ROM to go with?

More icons. Where you tap to open is off by maybe 1/4"
