That's a known problem with the totally unstable P1010. The only thing that helps temporarily is to completely reset the damned thing.
The best you can do is to return this crappy pad. The hardware is good the software is completely buggy and the Samsung support is completely clueless.
try button savior from market if you don't want to factory reset

Try this, be shure that you are using the default launcher, put the usb in KIES conection mode, connect to KIES on the PC, disconect from KIES and restar the device.
The home button should work after this. It seems to be a common problem in the P1010, a lot of people are reporting this problem, and I have suffered my self.
For a lot of people the Kies fix works, so try it before a factory reset.
After 4 weeks getting repaired I asked for my money back and got a 7510 much better thanks for the help guys

I'm having problems with the haptic feedback with the latest 2.3.4 update leak.
I was on 2.3.3 and everything was fine until I updated to 2.3.4. Then i got a double vibe on just the softbuttons, everything else on every other app works great except the 4 buttons on the screen.
If anyone knows how to fix this or is having similar problems, please help.
Thank you.
Its supposed to b like tht!

Really? Because it was never like that before, not for me at least. Even with the 2.1-2.3.3 was all single vibe.
Its just a feature, shrug it off, i like it!

Hi,
On any ICS ROM I install, my phone doesn't stick to the wireless sleep policy. It turns off, even though I set it to never and the coverage is fine. I thought it was ROM or kernel related, but it does this on all ICS roms and kernels I've tried. On 2.3.7 it works fine.
I've had this problem for ages and it's driving me mad, but I've tried everything I could think of and nothing worked. It made me think it might be a hardware issue but that doesn't make sense for a sleep policy and it definitely still works on Gingerbread, so I'm completely lost.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just go on Google Play and search for the Wifi Fixer app. :good:

I'm assuming you mean this app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.wahtod.wififixer
I'll try that, but I'd rather fix it without installing additional services, because that should be possible.. It's really just fixing the symptoms, not the cause.

I've tried and the app works, so thanks for that. The service cause quite a significant battery drain though, because it switches wifi off and on regularly, so a real fix would be nice, if anyone has an idea.

Hey all,
I recently flashed the final cyanogenmod democracy rom onto my galaxy ace, and am enjoying it very much. However, just yesterday, a wifi issue developed. Now i can turn on wifi, but it can't detect any networks. Fortunately, the packet data still works. If anyone has any solutions for this, please tell me!

Post this issue on the ROM's Thread.
There you might get the solution for it
