Image Viewer? - G Tablet Themes and Apps

I'm looking for an image viewer (jpg, bmp, etc) that can see and use /SDCARD2. I know you can use a file viewer but i don't want to have to click on each image to view them. The built in gallery would be fine if it could see the files on its own.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

QuickPic from the market works great.
In the options you can specify the scan location or by default it will scan the whole card.

I like justpictures as it supports viewing local picturesas well as pictures from various online photo services like picasaweb, flickr, etc.

+1 for Quickpic! Excellent gallery app.

I installed QuickPic and set it up to scan /mnt/sdcard and /mnt/sdcard2. It does not show any of the images on sdcard2 (does show sdcard images). I also went in and selected the individual directories that have the images on sdcard2 but still a no go. Anyone else having problems with sdcard2?

Any ideas?

You could try another app like JustPictures! (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.justpictures&feature=search_result). ;-)

[Q] beam music to gtab?

Is there a way to beam or remotely send music or YouTube videos to the gtab with my Droid? Want to use gtab as a media device and change songs with my Droid as if it was a remote tried a few apps but none of them do what I'm looking to do.
Object is to not have to touch gtab to change songs.
Thanks,

I have found Mysettings really useful - this was posted by someone else on here (sorry cant remember who). It provides quick access to everything that i need quickly... such as airplane mode, instead of holding the power button, quick access to mobile network settings, brightness, screen timeout as well as the options in the notification bar.

Hi, just a question, it is said on the Pro HDR Camera (from EyeAppsLLC ?) that it couldn'/wouldn't work on our LG phones ? Did you need a certain rom to make it work or did it just work flawlessly upon install ?

Yes, it works on all android devices with firmware 1.6+. I couldn't find the original link to the app, but I have attached the apk file with this post.

Vignette - great photo quality there and better UI than Camera360 i think. At least you can use filters on pictures already taken, not like in Camera360.

No, but why would you need that? Front camera makes only sense for video chats, vignette only can take photos.
Actually you can add filters with camera 360 pro too

Yes, but, correct me if im wrong there, only onthefly after you've taken the picture. Not if you try to add a filter to an existing photo in the gallery.

Finally a good Office Suite for Tablet

Hi,
I bought today the last version of Thinkfree Office Mobile HD ( 4.1.110728 especially designed for honeycomb ) and I found it very very good
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tf.thinkdroid.hdamarket
I tried Quickoffice HD , Documents to go , Picsel Smart Office but for me Thinkfree is much better.
It has a very good compatibility with MS office documents ( Word, Excel and Powerpoint ) and it is optimized for use with tablet ...
finally i can use the tablet instead of my laptop also for work !!
Not bad.....no dropbox or Google docs is a deal killer for anyone that already has their life set up.

Yeah, it's not perfect , but i read that Google docs support will be a next feature.
For dropbox I open docs through the dropbox app , not a big trouble
hm, 10 bucks. I already have quick office but imo it kinda sucks. I was gonna just use splashtop to RDP to my desktop at home but my school's network blocks it, those dicks.
It's pretty crashy.
That and the weirdo line wrapping made me refund/uninstall it.

I don't see why this is so good. I prefer QuickOffice HD Pro myself over this one.

In my case, the layout of the complex word documents (with tables and images floating) is much better the Quickoffice HD and have best supporting excel pages with complex formulas.
Horrid instead is the management of line wrapping on Thinkfree ...
I think so too.
I bought this app in realease day.
But this app needs more features.
But i satisfied.

imo, not a winner, yet... no dropnox and couldn't open a couple of my word and dtg files... however, best ui out there and good rendering of some files that dtg and picsel disformed... lots of promise if upgraded and supported... good enough to keep, update and watch, but I'll keep using dtg primarily and picsel secondarily and just use this when neither works until it is improved. For those using quickoffice, though, I think this would be an upgrade... but I thout QO-HD was such a poc I uninstalled and ate my losses.
Im gonna try this

motocast for xoom?

just watched the MOTOcast feature in moto razr.. it looks cool.. will this thing availible for our xoom?
there is zumocast, it works with the xoom
Do u mean the apps in razr is zumacast ?
N, can the motocast connect between xoom n razr?
check it out here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1276410
you download the zumocast client on your pc and the app to your xoom and you can stream video and music from your pc to your xoom.
zumocast is made by motorola, so im thinking that motocast is the same thing, just rebranded.
will check it out. thx ! =)
Motocast is deeply integrated into the blur on the Razr. Unfortunately it isn't as simple as installing the apk. Zumocast is a standalone app while Motocast is integrated into the file manager, music app, etc.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
zumocast is way different than motocast. motocast is like icloud, you can store you personals in cloud storage and sync or download with an approved device. zumo is just a remote streamer.
Now that Motocast is on the Xyboard will we see the native app for the Xoom?

I hope so. I use ZumoCast now but hopefully we see the apk pulled from the Xyboard and ported to the Xoom

this is actually not quite true. A cloud is still not involved. You have direct streaming from the host computer. Hence why your computer must be on. The difference between motocast and zumocast is the integrated nature of motocast. Where you can see your remote files within your file manager or pictures that are remote, within your gallery, etc.

Motocast for Tablets
Having now got a RAZR, I've installed Motocast on the PC, however, I've noticed that there's now an app on the market "Motocast for Tablets", so was wondering if anyone's tried this out on the Xoom.
I would try it myself, but kindly, Motorola have locked it off to the States only, so I can't get it.
I've been browsing around, but haven't been able to find the .apk anywhere, hence asking someone else to give it a go first!
Thanks in advance,
K

The marketplace says that it is incompatible with the Xoom.
Shame - seems like a lost opportunity. Here's hoping there's a motocast client when they release ICS for Xoom.
How about this ?

Yes..... but, if you look closely it does not list the Xoom as a compatable device.
I use ZumoCast by Motorola and it works for me.
Yes that was my point really.
I went off their apps when I installed Motoprint and that was only for US printers, what's that about.
I can't see the point in the app really, I can browse the files on my network with ES Explorer and play everything fine.
If I had to browse off the web, then surely you would need good wireless anyway ?
If its for the layout of albums etc, then I understand a bit I think.
Is there any way we can trick the market into thinking we have a Xoom 2 or something? Modification of the build.prop file perhaps?

Some of us can't even get ZumoCast, "This item can't be installed in your devices country".
Why do motorola do this?

There is a hacked hulu apk out there, that works on almost all android devices. Google it and you'll find it pretty easily. Mind you it is the phone version so you need to rotate to portrait to browse.

You can edit build.prop to emulate a supported device.
