Camera app that translates - Thunderbolt Themes and Apps

Does anyone know a quality app that will let me view using the camera or possibly take photos of text and translate that image? Watch a ton of Esports from Korea and mainly Starcraft 2 and lot of twitter post and such are just photos of text from other languages I can not read. Thanks for your help if you know of one that will be able to translate a small image and break down the language would be amazing.

Google Goggles?

Does not translate anything besides "English, French, Italian, German & Spanish." Unless they have added other language support and not updated the description? I will give a try and see but that was my first though and read they only offer those languages listed that does not offer me ones I desire. Thanks for the tip though.

Dictionary app?

Does anyone here have a dictionary app for your device? If so, which app? I've done some searching but it mostly comes back with English to Spanish, English to Dutch, etc etc etc. I just want an app that is like a Websters Dictionary for my device.
Thanks

I use UltraLingua for French<->English and French thesaurus,
(I already onwed it with my beloved Palm)
and LingvoSoft for French<->Polish.
I'm quite happy with those 2.
I have a great one. I will give it to you in exchange for a VIDEO of the radio you have working. I need this radio and you are the only person who seems to have it working that owns a Tilt.
Hi,
i recommend the http://www.octopus-studio.com/index.en.htm
The Mdict application by Rayman Zhang. You can find/produce a lot of free powerfull dictionaries for the pocket pc. And so far as I know it is freeware.
Maybe if you find some sources for more dictionaries it would be nice to post this.
Have fun

MIA App - Touchpal

I don't know if I'm having some weird Market issue or if it has vanished but searching for Touchpal shows no results at all. It's the replacement keyboard and I quite liked it, has it been pulled? If not could someone confirm the exact spelling and if it is "touchpal" could I tempt someone to pull the files for me? Thank ya.
i have two different touchpal.apk's on my comp. one is from pulse, the other is one of the first ones to hit the market, let me know if you want them.

It took a few hours before my brain started working. I just pulled the Pulse ROM and pulled it out myself after you said where it was. If anyone is interested you also need the "AllPack.apk" which is the language pack containing all languages available at the time.
here are the files for anyone who is asking....

How do you expect to survive in France if you can't even read French? Doesn't make sense...
Btw, google translate does wonders.
hey... Do not worry... Why is google translate there. You can translate the whole page. Open the page which is in French in GOOGLE CHROME. A button translate will come and you can translate the whole page.

[Android 2.0+] Camera Translator - Translate Anything With Your Camera

Hi guys,
Edward Kim here. I just wanted to share with you my latest app. I'm going to South America next week on vacation, and don't know any Spanish or Portuguese. So, I made this app, which lets you take a picture of anything, then translates it for you into any language you want.
It basically runs OCR (Optical Character Recognition) on the photo you take, then sends it off to Google Translate to translate the recognized text.
This community has been extremely helpful to me in the past for feedback/bugs/feature suggestions. I'd really appreciate if you could check it out and give me any of your comments!
App link
As always, I'm more than happy to refund the purchase for anyone here who purchases the full version of the app. Just purchase it on the market, and then fwd me your order receipt to eddie [period] kim at googles email service [dot] com
Thanks!
Camera "Tranlator"??? it is also time for a spelling-checker. ;-)
haha....oops! Thanks for pointing that out.
Sweet. I'll try it out here in a bit. I hope that it works better than How2Say? ... which didn't sort of work at all.

Edward! Wow I just realized you are the developer who created Car Locator, and Screenshot it! Do you work on apps by yourself? Or do you have a group/team/company? Also, do you use a program to develop your apps?
I am downloading this right now, will test it, and leave feedback!

HTC Sensation
I tried the app with my Rooted HTC Sensation For T-Mobile with the Custom ROM Android Revolution HD.
I tried 4 pictures of spanish things. One of which was a huge sign saying: Peligro, which means danger, the sign is very big too, but once cropped, and I select "Crop" It just has an empty box, with no works, like I have to type them in, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of Taking a picture, instead of typing.
I also tried taking a picture of my homework, at the top is it says "Mi Familia" In about size 16 font, and the camera could not focus on the lettering in the app, but my normal camera app would do fine.
Your concept seems very intelligent, and If either Im doing something wrong, or the app is not fully complete maybe, once this works good, I'd be happy to help you promote it.
Is it live translatation, like Word lens for iOS, or a picture followed bya translation, like Google Goggles?
RE: Camera Translator - Translate Anything With Your CameraArrow

Need a Little Help from Everyone

Hello,
I'm going to make a video for my girlfriend, I am video-recording people say that I love her in Turkish, and will put all of them in one video.
I want different people with different accents from different countries to say it, so It will be better and different, but I can't travel the world
I thought XDA would be the best place, there are people from everywhere, so I want help from you XDA members
I need around 15-20 people, It will not take more than 5 minutes, you will just say "Sena, Yulet loves you so much" in Turkish,
-or you can say it in another language, except English (She loves French the most )-
You can listen the pronunciation from Google Translate:
translate.google.com/#en/tr/Sena%2C%20Yulet%20loves%20you%20so%20much
Please listen to "Sena" in English, and the rest in Turkish, it's better that way
(I can't post links yet, but I'm not a new user at XDA; I just wanted to use my name as my username, so I got this account)
If you want something in return, I will do my best,
If you'll do it for me, please record with 720p or 1080p quality, and PM me.
Thank you all very much
(got permission from Archer to post this)
That's nice, but I don't think I can pronounce that haha.
But gonna try this later today.

Maybe, instead of everyone talking in Turkish, why not talk with our own languages that phrase? I'd love to do that with my 15 year old Southwest Brazilian accent
