I really don't like the built in social apps on my Tbolt but my beautiful themed home screens are really put off by the two ugly rectangles of my Fbook and Twitter widgets..
I was wondering if anyone knows of or could make some BAMF Remix style themed facebook and twitter apk's??

Is it possible to make widgets that look like those that are found in the hero roms, for a regular home screen? Do you think it would be posible to port the aesthetics over to widgets for the other home apps? because those by and far knock out the current widgets in the looks department.

I second that. I would love to see full screen Weather widget with some animation.... and a bookmark widget... and Twitter widget... and Email widget.... I want all of them!!!!!

I just saw this lifehacker post that shows you how to turn of sense ui on a droid eris. Does anyone know if this works on an aria. And can you switch back and forth between sense and vanila. Thanks

i use launcherpro much better than sence ui and the other home too
I tried it and it didn't work for me, but maybe that is because I fail at following instructions. Or it could be that it just doesn't work with the Aria. The update on the article does state that it doesn't work on all HTC phones.
Anyway, I manage to clear the defaults but pressing the home key doesn't allow me to set the interface.

I think they completely removed the vanilla launcher fron the aria.
Like it was said before, you can just install another home app. My personl favorite is SlideScreen, which shows any new voicemail, missed calls, sms messages, calendar events, your google reader feed, twitter feed, stocks, and facebook messages (note, I am not part of the SlideScreen team, I've just found it to be really great). I've also tried out HelixLauncher, which I like more than LauncherPro, Sense, or the vanilla launcher.
You should know that the HTC widgets only work with the sense launcher, so if you're looking for a nice flip clock widget you should get Beautiful Widgets, which has a copy of most of HTC's nice widgets.

Can someone with the ability to theme take a look at Tha Shag by kovdev better screen shots at kovdev.com. The theme is great but missing the usual pandora, fb, twitter themed widgets. But a lockscreen morph and dailer to match wouldnt hurt either. My wallpaper is the stock that came with the theme but inverted. Thats the extent of MY theming abilities! Some screen shots attached. Thanks.
