Actually no, if you are on 2.1 you do not need to be. You do need to be to backup your apps.

Hello all I have a samsung epic I was looking for the stock boot sound from the i9000. I have the boot animation but I would like the sound to go with it. I tried searching but couldn't find anything. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advanced.

why CM's build did not fix the call audio well by CM10？

I have flashed cm-10-20121106-NIGHTLY-p990.zip , i got a trouble when making a call each other could not hear my voice，I want to fix it but I have no idea. It seem that tony's build fix it well ，

That's a known bug. Occurs for some and some people, such as me, don't have this problem at all. There's nothing you can do about it at the moment.
