OK guys, I just bought an XTC Clip and it should be here hopefully mid week.
This is an unlimited clip, so, im looking to pass it around.
What i'd like to do, is have you guys that want it, essentially do a group buy... and we'll ship it from person A to B to C... and so on.
Not looking for HUGE portions to be donated or whatever.. like $20 each to include shipping. Once we hit the cost i paid for it, ill send each a little back or whatever.

Are we sure the xtc clip works on increidble s? I was reading the forums on the xtc clip website and it seemed like it wasn't working, at least for a while.
Also, at $20, you expect 7 people to go for this? Seems like a low number, should we wait for like 15 people to make it $10??

I just went for $20 as a marker. I've already bought and paid for it, so anything i get back just cushions the cost I also went with $20 because it's looking like the payg version is going to be costing about $35 per charge (including shipping fees of device) (not sure as i havent seen the exact number). If you are willing to do $20, and a few days from now, 15 other people join in and what not, i would definately refund money (im not looking to make money in this, but by the same token, it would be nice tro not lose money either )

Sorry about not answering the IS question. Yes, it works on the Incredible S (It seems that all of them except the BELL branded IS as of now).

Which is similar to the incredible 2.. Ideally raskal can get both to work.

That is correct (The XTC clip does not currently work with the BELL branded IS, maybe I can still send it to you and you can give feedback to Raskal... not sure what he needs, but i'd be willing to contribute to the cause).

Seems like the clip DOES NOT YET work on Inc2... Raskal JUST got his hands on one and is working on it now...

I've heard lots of people here talking about buying their kaisers for $200, EVEN $99!! Where on Earth do you find such a good deal? I have been in the market for weeks on Ebay and can only find ones for $500+. Does anyone have some advice for me on where I can pick one up for at most $400? Anyone selling or know of somebody selling theirs? I don't care if it isn't unlocked or still has the AT&T ROM... I can manage that. Anyways, I could really use some insight from you people. Do you have ATT service in your area? if so, then you should be able to buy it too. I only said US only because I wasn't sure if the deal would apply to other countries as well. Since it does ask for a zip code to verify availablity I would assume it would work in canada as well. Try it, see if it accepts your zip.

Newegg has a little bit of a better deal. Comes out to $129 after all rebates. You can get a free bluetooth headset too during the checkout although you do have to pay $5 shipping.

Awesome! I'm not really sure how much shipping is either but i checked Royal Mail here in the UK and they were saying around £1.31. I'm willing to pay up to £5 for the shipping. Lemme know if that fine with you

I found them pretty decent but i really want them cos the inline button thingy, its great for changing songs when im walking. Beats whipping out my phone and changing it that way.
You must have pretty small ear-holes if they dont fit ^.^

Wondering who would be interested in going in on buying an XTC chip and passing it around in the US.
Here's what I propose...
ONE of us in the states purchases one, and we subsequently pass it around to those who want to go in on it. I would propose that we pool resources together and purchase one through ebay (there's a NY seller that has one for a little less than $200 US. I'd be comfortable buying it and passing it along to someone else in the states... I would say we get a list of people together, where's they're located, and how much they are willing to put in to a general fund to purchase (or offset the cost of) the XTC chip. Let's see if we can get a nice long list going, and I'll look at buying on Monday or Tuesday (May 2 or 3 2011)... I live in Baltimore, so anyone in neighboring states or nearby could meet up or i could mail it to them and they'd have it in a day or 2... (Im not sure the exact weight, but each person going in would pay for shipping to the next in line to receive it.. Im assuming we could ship it for under $2 to each person, as i doubt it weighs more than a few ounces and would fall under the 13oz rule for USPS first class mail)...
If we can get a list of where everyone is, how much they'd be willing to contribute, we can maybe map out a path for this thing... (I would say, the larger contributors would have first dibs on it, and those who are closest in proximity with where it is...ie, if i order it and get it next friday, and someone offsets in NY with $5, but someone in VA offsets with $25, I would ship it to the person in VA... They in turn would ship it to the NY person, and so on and so forth...
If you are unable to offset... you probably shouldnt have bought a $500 phone No, but in seriousness... if you are unable to contribute, I (personally, but would need general consensus from those who HAVE contributed)... would be more than willing to pass this on to those who HAVENT contributed to the cause (of course, as is only right... i would say you would be last in line to receive it...)

I have a barely used white battery cover. Long story short, I bought mine and then a few weeks later my phone bricked and it was rooted so I had to send it back through insurance and now I have an inc2.
Anyone want it? I know they're pretty cheap so I wanted to offer it here. I don't need to make much money off of it. Just enough to cover shipping and maybe a buck or two extra.

Well I would need to sell to Rootzwiki first as I do not want to sell everything separately. I would hate to sell you the accessories and then I cant sell the phone.
