[THEME][TF3D2][YOZGATG 1.5]Warhawk Manila Files

Ok my XDA ninjas and ninjettes, I have two files for you today. As you may know, I have AT&T as a provider. I looked at the theme from the Tilt2 for AT&T and wondered how it would look on my Raph. I'm sure some of you may have wondered too. Well wonder no more! I found the Rhodium dump in a post http://www.mobilitydigest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1965 posted by herg62123. They say curiosity killed the cat, but would it kill my Fuze? No! By sheer talent and a whole lot of luck (look at the "thanks" below) I was able to take the visual elements and tranfer them to my 1.5 Manilla by yozgatg. The result is what you see before you.

No problem, anytime....sort of. I might be asleep and won't be able to help. But when I'm awake...usually

I tried the cab on my fuze that I just flashed to the latest firnware on HTC's website for at&t. I got the blue slider bar but that is all that shows up. nothing changes when I turn on the att theme. Any ideas?

The problem you have is the manila version. AT&T stock ROM runs version 1.2. As stated in the first post, I extracted and replaced them in manila 2.1 (R1.5) from yozgatg. Find a ROM with 2.1 and it'll work for you.

Notification bubbles and other elements
Awesome work SilentP and everyone else that helped!! I love having the 'refreshed' Manila to mimic the Tilt2. I installed / cooked successfully using the files provided, however, I did notice a couple of cosmetic things I'm hoping you can resolve. First, the notification bubbles...the numerals inside the bubbles are hard to read given that they are white. I looked at Manila using CFC GUI and found the elements to change, but being a newbie to modding Manila, I'm not sure of the best way to address the issue. Second issue I have is that some of the sliders and checkboxes in other HTC applications are still green (CommManager is an example). Now, I know I can use one of the blue highlight fixes that Shadowline did, but I don't like the way that them changes the Internet icon and the colors for the stocks tab (notably green stock indicators become blue as well). The final cosmetic thing is with the ATT WM65 them. It appears that gray is used instead of white for backgrounds, not a huge deal until a notifciation pop up appears where the background for the text element is white, so you end up with a mismatch. Not sure if you or anyone else has observed these things, and granted they are minor and not meant to take away from the great work thus far, but if someone can either fix, or guide me on how to fix, I think I'd have a very cool updated Fuze!!

Appreciate the compliments and I'll check in on the notifications. The commanager is an external component not associated with manila. I'll look in the packages and see what I can come up with. As I said, the theme belongs to shadowline, but I'll try and replicate the issue and see if I can come up with a fix.
NOTE: Updated post 1 with transparent bubble fix, see pic1...

Thanks a bunch!! I knew the theme was shadowlines....I haven't had a chance to actually compare it with the actual WM65 ATT theme, I know it's very close, just not sure about the gray areas. As for commanager, yep, it's an external, and I'm using the AssasinsLament version, which is cool. I've tried using blue highlight cabs scattered about, but none seem to acurately match the ATT theme (I'm a little OCD about that kind of thing ;-) ). As far as the notifications bubble, the transparent is a cool workaround, but I'm trying to get it to look like the attached image, which is off the actual ATT build of Manila. It's almost a font color thing, just not sure where they set it.

I'll have to research the notification number font. I'll check out the Rhodium AT&T theme to see what I can find also for the gray part.

I managed to get the CommManager colors worked out using Photoshop, as well as modifying the Album, HTC Email Setup Wizard, New Contact Card, Notifcation Enhancement, and the Tachi Phone Canvas. Attached are the EXT files that can be copied into their respective areas (.png, etc.). Now my theme is pretty darn close, all I need is the proper font color for the message notification. I think this is modified in an XML file somewhere, or perhaps the registry.
Oh, and sorry about zipping up the rar files....I realized that I could only attach zip files, and of course there's a limit to how many you can upload in a post, so there was some rational behind the method

World Map and Nexus One themes

Hi all
This is my Sense 2.1 / WM 6.5 theme for WVGA devices. It has been fully tested on the HTC Rhodium Stock WM 6.5 ROM so I would expect it to work on any WVGA device with a Sense 2.1 WM 6.5 ROM (Sense version 2.1.19193517). Other devices are not supported.
The theme is essentially a collection of WM 6.5 and Sense 2.1 modifications that can be found on the forum with my own wallpapers. I have used HDWall to make the wallpapers and the .cab installer. HDWall can be found here:

Installation instructions:
1) Download the World Map Theme.zip from here: http://cid-ac854080db1a552d.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/XDA Developers files/World Clock Theme.zip (for some reason Skydrive is giving an error on the file name so you have to delete a final _ on the file extension)
2) Unpack the .zip to your computer. There are three files.
3) Copy the three files to your phone.
4) If you have the HTC Black option already in Settings>Today then you can discard "HTC Black.tsk" at this point.
5) If not copy the "HTC Black.tsk" into the \My Documents folder on your device and open it. You should then be directed to the Today Settings Applet, if not go there manually, and select HTC Black.
6) Disable Sense 2.1 if you use it in Settings>Today>Items and uncheck HTC Sense.
7) Open "HQWallpaperPatch_v1.15_forManila2.1.19193517.cab" on your device, install to device memory and soft reset after installation.
8) Open "World Map Theme.cab" on your device, install to device memory and soft reset after installation.
9) After your device has rebooted Sense 2.1 should load automatically but if it does not enable it in Settings>Today>Items and Check HTC Sense.

Nexus One Theme
Hi all
Here is my Nexus One theme which is along the same lines as the theme above:

As well as changing the background in all tabs, it also changes:
- The clock background to transparent
- Slider to the old Manila 2.1 style with transparent curtain
- Removes the top curtain
- Changes the clock to transparent
- Adds some small colour changes in Sense
- Updates the call history contacts tab and call history graphics in the dialer
- Replaces the standard WM 6.5 today screen and the lock screen wallpapers
- Replaces animated start up sequence (thanks to [ElCondor])
You can download the HDWall Cab here:

All instructions are as per above but use the cab in the link above in stead of the World Map Theme cab.

Make sure the box "Use this picture as the background" is UNCHECKED prior to installation of cab. Otherwise, WM 6.5 Start background will remain whatever you have it as and you will have to reinstall.

Unfortunately the tools I used to make the theme only support WVGA. I think that for WQVGA you need a theme for Manila 2D not Sense.
There is a lnik to the source image file in post #1 so you can make a theme for Manila 2D with that.

if you notice on your calendar page, the background graphic shows thru the calendar. on my attached screenshot, i cannot see the background thru the calendar. i have reverted to the original sense 2.1 slider icons to add a bit more color. i am on the verizon winmobile 6.5 rom.

The version of HTC Sense on your phone is different to the one on my phone so I don't think I can help I'm afraid.
I can't remember exactly where on the forum I got the folder icons. If you do a search for icons I think you'll find them. They might be called HTC Style. iReflect is also a good set.

I guess that's because you have WM6.1 Manila 2.0
You better upgrade to WM6.5
EDIT: I'm sorry - I just installed in my WM 6.5 Sence 2.1, and no colored icons in Call History too!!!

Hello everyone,
I cannot copy the files to the Windows directory, it is giving me an error Access denied. I stopped Manila (In Today, unchecked HTC Sense) and restarted, but still cannot copy the 3 file. Any ideas or suggestion?

i guess dialer graphics same for everyone so it works for everyone but call history is part of manila and i use 2.5.1921 so its not working on 2.0&2.1... if you give me files for call history graphics in 2.0&2.1 i'll color them.

its correct files but you have two files missing for image like attached (normal & pressed)
made cab for old manila plz report how it works.

So nice of you to colour up the bland icons.
Currently I'am using Laurentius v4 rom for hd & as you know it is very colourfull so is it possible for you to make cabs for colouring the bland parts of the ui.
I know it is too much to request for but in all honesty I believe a lot of our members will be glad.
By the way using the following mods made by you:-
Home tab colored icons.
Home tab arrows.
Weather tab icons.
CommManager color.

i dont understand... what you mean "bland parts"? best if you post original file i can color it.

By bland parts i meant the black & white icons, like foe example the home tab icons, they were originally white, but you coloured them green.

Hi guys, does anyone know where I can download a cab with the great lloking icons on the image on the very first message in this thread. If such cab is not available, can you post a link for some other staat bar colored icons for HTC TP2 LEO ROM WM 6.5 running . tx.

Found Brians Icons. Tx.

OK. Here what I do in my Topaz, Sence 2.1:
Uninstall "Dialer & History Colored.cab"
Install "Old Manila.cab".
Now, the colored icons on the Call History appear, but the icon on the right (adress book) is the same - still grey.
No colored icons in "Dialer" - at all.
Reinstalled "Dialer & History Colored.cab".
Colours are back in the "Dialer", including the "Adress Book" icon, and keep the colored icons in the "History menu". Only missing the "Adress book" icon in "History" (the one in post #11).

u cab is ok for colored list of call history. But I have a Xannytech 1.8 rom with manila 1922 and u know that call history button remain hide with this version of manila 1922.
Any suggest to make visibile it or we have to wait a future patch for it?

yes thats what im doing when have free time & bored... next plan is colored settings tab icons but its lots of icons means its gonna take a while till i find them first then color...

As is it expected,this Sense has best result on KWBR ROMs so far (best results are with Manila v. 2.5.20161332.0 and OS Version 5.2.21914 as most stabile so far).It means ROM editions with Start Menu on the top left corner. I have made some compatibillity with other Manila versions so it depends from cooked ROM by ROM...Anyhow, it seems that all ROM builds numbering with 21914 are buggy free and very stabile,so I recommend you to choose ROMs with this version number.

Hi, i use Energy GTX Rom for a few days. It works fine without any problems. Now i installed your good looking dali theme (just like you described it). Everything is displayed well and without any bug. Only Problem: I cant get any wallpaper with the theme enabled (it is the ninja one, isnt it?). If i choose any wallpaper,nothing happens, just the white backround (without figure).
Please try to help, i really would like to usw wallpapers, especially the one with the figure.

hm...I am using kwbr Topix and I experianced same problem as you are,but I dont see where is a "bug"....I think the problem is somewhere inside Dark Ninja theme and not in GTA Dali,so I will make a new theme tsk one from scratch...
I think that @mike2nl could give us a hand here...

I make this theme for personal use and has a feeling to share with somebody who probablly need it..I am also experianced some problem with this gray line top on the slider...I dont see what manila do that ! I simply can not remove it...
This theme is still in development phase because new Dali clocks are coming and new stuff (icons,sliders...etc...)...Tis theme should be pure bright white and I think I need expertise from some experianced theme master because I am not so good theme maker...
anyone ?

What do you mean with original? There many of threads of GTX Roms, Themes etc. And i searched in the Gtx Rom Thread and found nothing that fixes that problem..

No, not on my device. I used different themes and nothing better happens. When i try to uninstall the GTX Dali, my menü button on home screen doesnt work...
So i quess it is a problem with the Gtx rom i installed (NOT GTX Theme! for Manilla).
Despite that, i cant install the newer version of dali gtx. I deactivatet Sense, uninstalled it, softresetted, and installend the new cab. But after another reset the old gtx dali is up, with different sized icons. So somehow (in every of the told cases) the uninstalling of the gtx dali on my gtx rom does not really work...and causes bugs

I dont get it ! I uninstalled it and installed it lot of times normally without any problems.Checked cab 4 times step by step for some error,but everything is fine.Did you try to overwrite cab.You can do it now.There is no need further to uninstall.So,please,check it and it should be fine.

nice work, I got it up...just wanted to know if you have other clocks? let me know...and the top and bottom has a dark line...also when you move on the slider, the circle is little dark, so if you have the circle white, that would fix the problem...so I think, you should work on making the bottom and top light...but again I don't have any knowledge of how things works, and but I am just saying that from the user point of view...I hope you don't mind my suggestion. GREAT JOB.

I am working on other clocks.There is still a lot of work to do.Clocks need to be half-transparent and shinny according the theme..And icons...I wanted them to look a little bit "emboss styled"..But, I could arrfange something with your idea

iCON is a pack of icons for all applications, and reg file is reg mod for them to shown in explorer.

I suppose no. I dont have WM 6.1.
But taskbar ios OPTIMIZED for this theme so I think it wont work.

i installed MIRI Vr. 17 then CHT editor and home tab
then installed dali and GTX but the sense is refusing to load

[SKN] Black n Blue Grill Sense/CHT2/Resco/S2U2/Swype - Dialer cab fixed(Dec 22)

I thought I would share my current theme/skin in case anyone wants at least a part of it. I'm currently using an NRG Rom for my Tilt2 so the sense icons started with that general theme. It bugs me when all my icons do not match, so I skinned several programs that I use all the time so that everything flows well together. I should mention that some of these skins (power radio and thumbcal for example) may be WVGA only.
Update: Dialer cabs now available in post #3 - not sure if Leo cab is answer for HD2 dialer canvas problems - let me know(Dec 22)

Look at the bottom of the first 4 posts for the attached cab/zipped files. Also the Earth and sun and moon wallpaper you see on the S2U2 screen shot is in the wallpaper.zip file.
My taskbar is a modified version of the m6silver color taskbar so most of the credit goes to him for that. I've changed the notification icons to match the sense theme I'm using. You will also notice that I use a couple of dusk images (like several graphics in the S2U2 theme and the Clock Background for Sense) and I don't want to take credit for that. If I have used someone elses icons, I don't want to take credit for them so let me know. I have worked a lot to make most of my own icons. I haven't really made most of the graphics, I have just pulled them from the web and converted them for the program images. I'm not a graphic artist.
The action screen is configured for some of the apps I use so it may not work for you. You can always visit the thread learn how to update the registry yourself.
I'm always open to suggestions and comments. I'm not really satisfied with the contact sense icon. I don't really like the orange background on the picture in the contact card. I'm looking for a better solution on that one. Also if anyone know how to skin the system icons on the notification screen, I'd like to know.
I've attached some screen shots and I will start putting together the cab files for the installs. It seems that I keep changing and updating the theme until I get it completely right.

CHT Forelayer / CHT Icons / Action Screen / Power Radio
I have made a lot of realize type icons that are rounded iphone looking. If anyone is interested, I will post those as well. Here's a couple of screen shots:

Here's the forelayer skins I use. See this thread for more information on the new CHT feature.
Also, I had to split the Swype skin into portrait and landscape because the file was to big too add. Plus not everybody needs landscape.
The Finger Keyboard skin is for this keyboard program.
The cab for the phone skin is too big so here's a download link. If the cab file isn't working (it doesn't seem to work for me either for some reason - anyone know why), I was able to copy the files in the attached zipped folder and use total commander or resco explorer to copy from my SD card to my windows folder. Give that a try. I should mention that I haven't fixed the graphics for the Landscape skin. I don't ever use the phone in landscape, but I might work on after I get everything else fixed. If you do copy over the files, I would make a backup of those files - especially the phcanimages.dll. Also, I don't even know which dialer is technically in the NRG ROM and for right now I don't have the VGA version done yet. I want to get the WVGA landscape done first.
The Sense Icons are all the icons that I updated from the standard Energy ROM theme. So some of them I haven't changed. If you need all the slider icons I can provide those as well. Just let me know.
Let me know if any of the cabs aren't working. I'm having trouble getting the phone dialer skin to work with cab install.

I've attached a cab for the Co0kie Home Tab 2.0 icon set. It also changes the icons in the CHT Editor as well. I'll be skinning the CHT scheduler here soon as well.
SUCCESS!! I've fixed a cab for the dialer. I think I have one for those having problems on the HD2. Try the cab and let me know.
Here's some new WVGA wallpapers I put together. Mostly Sci-Fi ones including the Wide (for CHT2), Portrait, and Landscape versions. The zipped file is very large so I uploaded it to 4shared. Some of these I pulled from XDA but I forget where. Others I pulled from the web and resized for my WVGA device.

I have modified some of the icons and will post my version a little later. I've changed things like wifi, the phone icon, voicemail, and even the default folder icons to the black ones pictured in the resco explorer snap shot. I'm still putting together all the cab files.

I see people are downloading the Resco skin. I realized that I didn't skin all the buttons for the bottom. I just did the ones I use. I might look into skinning the other buttons as well, but there are a lot of buttons. I first will put together all the cab files for the other skins.

Nice choice of songs! I so want to get this thing up and running! Had to replace my Imagio, wife thinks it was the custom ROM with 1.8.5 on it that caused it to die. Soon I hope, soon!

I actually used this KD Font program and changed to the Hall Fetica Font. You can find this great program here.
I'll post the Dialer cab and the other cabs hopefully today sometime. I'm scheduled to be out most of the day.

I probably could make some vga adjustments. My wife has my old Fuze. Some of the skins will work with vga I think. I'll make a VGA wallpaper at least and I think the dialer, power radio, action screen, and swype landscape are really the only things that will be WVGA. I can adjust the power radio pretty easily. The action screen is WVGA exclusive. I'd might be able to get the swype vga landscape and dialer files from my wife's Fuze.
Is there a big demand for those in VGA?

Yeah. I just put the download link up this morning.

I downloaded and tried to install the "phone", which I assume included the dialer. It would not install. Got message to try another location for install. I tried both 'device' and 'storage card' and got same result.

i had to extract all the files from the cab and copy and paste into the windows
directory
and it worked great on the 23683 rom i was on
but i flashed a new rom this morning 23145 and it wont work at all
even the other modded dialer i have doesnt work on it
