[SKIN][UPDATE-27/aug/09]Theme "TL_BBSmart2D" for ThrottleLauncher 1.0_ RC2

Hi TL lovers.
This is my contribution for the best WM UI
It is inspired in a mixture of of BBStorm, TF2D and GSmart.
Update:
Landscape support. (A functional landscape theme)
Full and normal screen options.
All buttons are configurable.
Widgets (Widgets in images are for Hero theme by ryomahino)
plugins are optional

Scroll in home page to have weather, SMS, watch and lunar phases.
Scroll buttons (the ones above footer strip) in home page to have more options.
Click in home weather main icon to update weather forecast. Or just choose AutoUpdate option in weather TL config.
Add Album covers and click on them to open music player of your choice.
SMS Preview in "home's scrolling main window among clock moon and weather. (Click on message to refresh for viewing new messages. It doesn't refresh automatically)
Customize home page buttons (the ones above footer strip) in ThrottleConfig. They may not work at first so you have to set them in ThrottleConfig for your very own applications names and paths.
Click moon icon when first theme installation for first moon phase or just wait for next day.
Rumball, tank you for your themes contributions. They encouraged me to do something better although not as good as yours. Feel free to use my lunar phases algorithm if you like it

Sorry for the inconveniences. I have problems trying to upload the file to XDA Forum. Some how the file gets corrupted so download it from the link provided in first post. It is the plain "Setups\BBSmart2D" directory. No cab file anymore.

Never mind!! It was worth waitting . It's working great if executed from Main storage. Has some problems though if executed from SD or internal memeory. The problem is it's using #$THROTTLE#\Setups\BBSmart2D instead of #$THEME_BASE# to reference paths . After correcting this works great placed anywhere!!

It is a lot of work. I will be looking for some spear time.

I think it should just remove weather from main page and replace from Plugin tab or another tab?

Can you post a cab file so i can just select it within the throttle launcher morph? If not please explain what the steps are to select this.

Think that you are changing pages when you scroll your watch to see weather and player. Why would you like to have weather in an other page while it is actually in an other panel that behaves like an other page?

Please create a Cab file that we can download that will automatically open and place the file in the proper folder or....explain the steps for us to be able to use your theme. Thanks

This app is very slow on my phone, i dont know why, lg incite, but pip boy works fine

I like use Rumball's animated weather skin for weatherpanel but when I check use weatherpanel checkbox in your theme when home page start not working. Maybe the solve is to move weather to other page or maybe you have other solutions?

This is based off of the method of the Android Phone 7 Theme, but slightly different and made specifically for us Aria users, since we get no love. This will make your Aria look like a beautiful combination of Gingerbread and Windows Phone 7. There are twenty-six icons that are a combination of green, orange, and pictures in both sizes 1x2 and 3x1. You do not need to purchase Launcher Pro Plus to do this theme, they fit perfectly in Go Launcher without resizing, and you can change the dock, which is also included.

Here's how you do it:
1. Download Go Launcher, Desktop Visualizer, and Minimalist Text.
2. Unzip the Aria Phone 7 file on your computer, and transfer the files to an SD card.
3. Launch Go Launcher and add a widget by long-pressing, then click Desktop Visualizer 1x2.
4. In Desktop Visualizer, select the 1x2 icon you would like to use, then link that icon to the application using the app, clear the text, and launch the widget.
5. Do the same process as many times as necessary until you have filled up as many homescreens as you'd like to use.
6. To change the dock, click Menu>Preferences>Dock Settings and check Customized Background, then click Select Dock Background.
7. Find the dock included in the zip file and select it.
8. Now go back to your homescreens and by long pressing on dock items, get rid of them all except for the app launcher. Long-press the app launcher icon and click Choose Icon, then choose the transparent.png file that is included.
9. Now that your dock is done, for the widgets on top, use Minimalist Text and tweak the app to your liking.
10. The last thing you need to do is change your background to the HTC black wallpaper, and ta-da, you are all done. Easy, huh?
Included in this zip are templates, 1x2 and 3x1 icons, the dock, and the transparent PNGs as well as a document detailing the colors & fonts used. All files are PNGs.

EDIT: I only have one issue; how do I get rid of the extra space used for the touch effect? This makes the home screen not uniform. :/

Very sweet....almost makes me want a windows 7 phone....yeah right, android all day baby... I do love this theme though!!

Your phone should have some kind of file manager where you can pick your wallpapers that you install. It should be the same way. I use Linda file manager and install and load my icons or wallpapers with that app.
Unzip the file and open the folder install the folder in your phone using one of the file managers of your choice and to pick an icon:
-long press your phone screen
-pick short cut
-applications
-pick the app you want to be on your screen
-press the icon (not the "ok" button yet)
-pick the gallery
-then look for the folder that has the icons
-then pick your icon
-either leave the label of the icon or delete the label of the icon
-then press "ok"

Hi! This is my first theme ever, basically a porting of the famous icon set for linux "Faenza". So, beside some applications icons created by me, all credits should go on the original creator: Tiheum!

Install the apk file attached with your favorite file manager or with adb;
Open the Launcher Pro Preferences and select the icon theme;

Try "change shortcut" keeping the default icon at the end with theme enabled.

I have like a thousand requests, and I can provide the activity name and in most cases even the icon. In fact, I'm using Faenza here on my OpenSuSE desktop, loving it on my phone but your package needs lots of HTC apps to be usable here.

T-Mobile G2 compatibility
I love the Faenza icons and I'm currently using them on my linux box so thanks for porting this over to Launcher Pro! I was wondering, when I try to install this app using the market (3.0.26) it doesn't have an "Install" button, but the page exists. I decided to go to market.android.com and try to install it using my PC from there. It says that :
This app is incompatible with your T-Mobile HTC T-Mobile G2.
T-Mobile HTC T-Mobile G2
This item is not compatible with your device.
I don't see why an icon pack which is for Launcher Pro wouldn't be compatible with my device, if you know what I can do about this please let me know, I would love to use your theme. Thanks!

i thought i include it in the pack, already. (it must be the icon activity name : my fold). i will fix it in next version.

check the image right in the bottom .apk thats a png file just download it.
preferences>appearances settings>dock background>custom> N9Dock.png
First u have to install launcher pro/plus then install N9meego.apk, after that ,
go to preferences>Theme settings>iconpack>nokia N9
thats all.

Wow, just Wow!
It hit me a few days ago, that I really like the design of Meego/Harmattan. I couldn't find any good quality icon packs back then.
I found the icon design guidelines from Nokia, and I photoshopped out the default ones from the pdf.
Plus I began to make a few icons for myself, based on the guide.
And Bam! Now here is your excellent quality icon set, that renders my work effectively unnecessary.
Don't get me wrong, I really really like your icons
As I said, I made some icons for myself, I hope you don't mind if I post them here. At least the not-redundant ones. Their size is 80x80 pixels, except for the android market icon, which is based on a default Nokia icon.
The icons are for:
Appusage - com.smartappers.appusage
BaconReader - a reddit reader app, can not be found in market yet, package name is: com.anrdoid.chrisarvin.baconreader (it's not a typo)
QuickPic - com.alensw.PicFolder
FBReader - org.geometerplus.zlibrary.ui.android
MortPlayer - de.stohelit.folderplayer
Samba Filesharing - com.funkyfresh.samba
Changelog Droid - com.cypressworks.changelogviewer
Opera and Opera Mini (these because I like more the shape of the O from the original Opera logo)
+ 4 misc icons for app drawer/folders
They are smaller in size than your icons, and maybe worse in quality, so obviously I don't except you to include my icons. But feel free to use them as base, or inspiration - and take them as icon requests
Although I don't use Launcher Pro.
