I imagine the reason you haven't and probably wont is because we can't use Microsoft's images and would violate the forum rules.

Please post links to the threads for new themes, We can then use this as a reference for the future, keeping them all in one place to save all the searching
There are several available on the Market as well, just search for CM7.
Treesurf, those are just themed icons etc aren't they? I don't think they effort three framework and systemui.
This is a good ideas for a thread, will add a couple themes when I get back on my pc!

As Bonesy isn't using an HTC Hero any more, the OP will probably will probably not be updated. But there isn't really a need for this thread. There are lots of themes over here and all themes which is MDPI will work

Hi, question, what is the different between MPDI and HDPI, i got a Xperia X8 with MiniCM7 (2.3.5 OS) and i can use the theme chooser, but im not sure what i have to search =)
thanks!
Hi..
I just started using CM7 ThemeChooser on my HTC Hero running Cronos Ginger
and I really love the white themes from UpwardSpiral..
But I found that after applying the theme my launcher (Go Launcher Ex) got really slow and stuttering..
Has anybody else noticed something similar??
Thanks in advance
Any chance we could get someone to make a MotoBlur theme chooser theme for CM7? I've always sort of loved the interface, at least more than AOSP but I don't have the knowhow to go about doing it. Basically I just want the framework-res and I'm sure there's others out there that are interested in the same thing.
Me too!

yes im all for it too!
Most people think they can just fire up Photoshop and make a theme, but I believe it's more complicated than that. (I used to make themes a while back for phones such as the T-Mobile Shadow, I know right, LAME.)
It's been years since then and now I am asking you all, what do you want to see?
Try and be very descriptive as the more details you provide, the better the theme. I will also be doing themes for various devices but these are ONLY for CM7.
seems like many themers are using black and white bar. why dont dont you try a transparent one this time? hehe...
btw, i thought you ask to request which theme to be ported, cuz i have 2 old themes that the themers would not updated, hoping to have them updated if possible.
I would love to see the crysis glow battery mod come to cm7. That would be pretty fresh.
I would love to see a port of Manup456's Revolution from here. Thanks.
I would like to see a theme that didn't mess with the app icons in the app drawer so much.. I hate when certain apps are colored and then other apps arent. very annoying looking.

I think its wrong to expect this in a theme. The creators of the themes cannot be expected to create icons for every app there is, that's just unreasonable.
I was suggesting that he didn't theme the icons.

I found this theme when browsing through the icons thread and thought it was really nice. I've pulled some parts on my own and just put it into bgill's linear theme, but was wondering if anyone would want to port this theme =)

Please explain what it means to port?
That is a pretty nice theme. Would love to see that on my ThunderBolt.
Just so that we can flash the theme on our devices since its made for the i9000 I think

Any suggestions? I'm currently using MEIZU and it's pretty awesome, but are there any other themes that work with transparency like this one does?
Sent from my LG-VM670 using xda premium
off the top of my head a few are:
MIUI by same author as MEIZU theme
EasyDay
LunarUi
Orion
Moto
Evoluer
Naked Simplicity
i think you should be able to find them by searching "transparent status bar" in the search form (or something similar to that)
Also your gonna need ZduneX25 pacther to get it transparent.

Does that include transparency in apps like Settings and Root Explorer and others?

No sir, Zdune made it so we could tweak our statusbars to make become transparent for specific themes, like themes posted graphic. But using the patcher can also be used for centering clock and such.
Some of the themes have transparent settings, contacts, dialer, mms, etc..
Wanting to have an app transparent, you'll probly have to do manually. Unless someone has already created an app that you want, that's been transparent.

I'm willing to try anything at this point to learn how to make the apps transparent at this point, it'd be pretty cool to start working on themes

Yes, I know it'll be cool. There's some guides floating around this theme section on how to create themes for theme Chooser and for MIUI Theme Manager.
I would post a linking to those threads, but I'm not currently at my computer. Sorry about that.
But good luck on learning how to create themes, I wouldn't mind testing a few themes from you when you start building some.
