3 issues with molski rom - please help

Hi guys,
since I have installed Molski's 30MB Ram free rom, I am very happy ,
but I do have 3 issues which I could not resolve so far:
1. SMS sent - Message:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\
SMSNoSentMsg = 1 ("DWord")
I have changed the key that I do not receive the Message Sent notification, but I still do receive it - anywhere else to look?
2. GPRS icon corrupted:
The GPRS connected icon does not show up on the big G, but on the network strength display - how can I change this
3. When I have a missed call, I should receive the orange flash for 15 minutes (set in Notifcations), but I dont - anyone know where to look?

Try again i guess, also did you soft reset your ppc after you did the edit? Go back to the value and make sure it added.

yes, even after a couple a soft resets the value is in there, but still I receive this annoying message.

same sms message reciept issue
i am getting the same issue when sending sms messages i dont want that reminder and have change the value have done soft reset and shut the reminder off in notifications but i still recieve reminder message. this message has caused me to send a lot of blank messages as us humans are faster than the machine and doing messages and such comes to be second nature.

if you find any solution, please let me know. I dont wanna do a hard reset :|

After you edited the registry, do wait a bit before soft-reseting your device, since it takes times for the changes to settle in...

This is a very good point. It takes a few moments for the system to write the changes to memory.

the thing is after thousands of soft resets, the correct value is in there, but it doesnt effect anything...

does no one else have this issue
or do you just dont care about the issues?

Hi - Just to say that I use this "tweak" with no problems at all - I also use molski's great rom - I know it might be a typo but maybe this is the issue:
In your post it looks like you have a space between the "n" and "gs" in the word settings - if this is a cut and paste from you're registry then the key is not correct.
I know this is a long shot but it's all I can see wrong.

Message Delivery Notfication tick box missing from my Kaiser - Please help!!

I've just bought an xda stellar (Same as the Kaiser but purchased from the o2 network in the UK) and for some reason the Message delivery notification tick box is missing form the message options. Is there a way to get this tick box back as I assume the operater has removed it for some reason?
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as I've spent about 3 hour searching on the internet for a solution and this website seems to be about the only place that I've found that I think might have a solution.

Are you sure it isnt simply in "message options" on the sms menu like with all these WM6 roms?

Its not in the message options, I had a previous version of this phone and it had two tick boxes in the message options.

ZiYi I've just tried that Kaiser tweek program and it doesn't have and option for message delivery notification only turning on/off the message sent feature.
Can anyone please help?

You are talking about the message delivery notification from the operator right?
ok, I have the setting in "message option". Create new message->menu->message option.

Yep, I'm talking about the message delivery notification option.
In my old windows mobile the tick box was where you said it is in the message options however on this phone its not there.
I think the operater (o2 in the UK) have put there own version of windows mobile 6 on the phone and for some reason doesn't have this feature on.
The option is still there in the registry so if I change the value from 0 to 1 on the SMSDeliveryNotify registry field it should work, which it does for about a couple of hours and then something on the phone resets it to 0 again without telling me (I.e. turning it off). It's really starting to annoy me as I find this feature incredibly handy becuase I deal with people who fly alot and if I send them a text I then know they've landed when I get the notification and can call them.
If anyone can help me with this problem I'd be very appreciative as apart from this it's a great phone.

Missing "Delivery Notification" option in SMS "Message Options" - any advice anyone?
Hi David, and all here!
I've a new o2 XDA Orbit II (I think it's a HTC Polaris) and I've the same problem!
I've spent hours googling here and beyond to find an answer but to no avail. It's really taken the good out of my new acquisition!
Did you manage to resolve the problem, David, or get any clarity on why that option is no longer there?
If anyone else can help with info, a tweak, a workaround or good software that does this job I'd be very grateful if you could let me know!

I've had my Kaiser (tilt blah) for about 3 months now, and most of my issues I've solved off this forum through .cab downloads, or just becoming unretarted, but I have some questions about the default text program that I havent been able to answer myself... Everytime you send a message, you get a "message sent" notification that interrupts pretty much everything you're doing after your message. Is there a way to turn it off? Maybe just have a sound confirming it was sent? The other thing is sometimes when I text, the text input box at the bottom of the screen doesn't scroll with the words, making it impossible to see what you're typing or if you made any mistakes. Is it my phone? Or has someone created a patch so fix such things? (both). And that guy that said WM for this phone sucks it a waste of life. This is the best OS for a phone. Just may ned some encouragement from time to time, but It doesnt suck.

Yes there is and please search before starting a new thread otherwise people get upset and then they wont answer your question or they get mad at you. check my download in my signature for kaiser tweak and or advanced config...download those and you can tweak you Kaiser/tilt to your liking....

First Bugs in New Official Rom, notification light for new e-mails

Hi,
After insallation of the new rom, wich is fast and stable, and solving the minor issue of the owner info not showing (solved by edit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Owner\Hide from 1 to 0) I noticed another bug.
It seems the notification light for new emails cannot be turned off? In fact the setting is there but even turning it off keeps flashing the light.
After first editting the registry key
HKCU\\ControlPanel\\Notifications\{A877D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D34F580408}\AvailableOptions to 15 (what makes that in the Setting/Sounds and Notification the Messaging: New E-mail message has no grayed out options anymore) It is possible to manually turn the setting for the flashing light on and of, but it seems that it doesn't work.
As I want to turn the flashing light of when receiving new mails (want to reserve it for SMS) it keeps flashing... Also manually editing the regsitry key HKCU\\ControlPanel\\Notifications\{A877D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D34F580408}\Options to 0 doesn't seem to work even not after couple of reboots...
Can someone check this and verify the problem? Does anyone know a solution for this?

Having no problems with that with HTC WWE 6.5 "official" ROM.

Yes I can do that, and even change back to default again on HTC WWE 6.5 "official" ROM.

I'm also able to change the wallpaper and seem to have no mic issues so far...
can anyone verify the flashing light problem or am I the only one with this bug?

no problem at all for me. everything is just fine.

I have exactly this bug, but i am not running the official ROM.
But if this one is present in the official ROM, that could be the reason why i am getting this bug in the latest Energy ROM.
Setting flash light to 5 min for emails works.

Found a fix on Mobilyz.com for the notification bug.

The Danish version doesn't show the "Owners information" tab. Makes it kind of hard to register software.

Oddly enough, the new ROM is no longer displayed in the Support - HTC Touch Pro2 - Software Download list (at least not when selecting UK or Europe as country). I'm pretty sure I did see the ROM in that list before.
Maybe they're working on it? Or am I sleepwalking and not remembering things right? I'll hold off flashing it for a day or 2 to see if an updated version appears.
It can still be found through Support if you don't select a phone, as a new entry, so it's not completely gone.

Given that i havent tryed this how can it work? And what has the 3 other things to do with email messages? Only one of the entrys are for email. Others are for sms, voice mail and missed calles, and i want tha green lighe for those. I think the person who started the tread said that he had tryed to set availableoptions=0 for email and that did NOT work.

Strange because it works fine on my device. Even after several resets.

Does the NEW official 6.5 ROM have the weather clock in it along with social network items like uploading to youtube and facebook from the album..? Just curious.

I have a few questions about my Topaz:
My first Question:
Is there any SMS-Client which is faster than the HTC? I have the problem that if I have a few messages, the Client has to load all the messegas and then marks the last message. In this time it is really hard to write.
2.
The green light of my mobile phone is often blinking although I have watched the last SMS but it shows that there is a new one.
3.
Is it possible that the flip clock shows the current time? So it means that the clock shouldn't rotate but only show the current time?
4.
I am living in a city which isn't very small but as it looks like, to small for the HTC weather client. I don't let my phone update automatically but it can update the informations when it is synced with my PC. Is it possible to have a more detailed weather information and to have my exact city in it?
5.
I often talk on my phone and also want to know how much I've talked a month. Where can I watch that? Is it also possible to let the phone show the time of the whole phone call after I hung up?
That are the questions I am thinking about all the time.
I hope someone is able to help me.
