I have the Sprint version of the Galaxy Tab SPH-P100 I think. Stock everything nothing changed. I go to Settings\Wireless Settings, but no USB option at all. It's stuck in HDD mode Here's a pic of the menu:

I'm trying to use Kies, but it says the mode is unsupported, and to put it into kies mode. Bought this refurbished, and have no data plan.
Any help will be appreciated!

Hi Guys,
I made a really terrible mistake. I did not set my international version Galaxy S to USB debugging mode before attempting to flash Voodoo lag fix with Odin. Now all I see when I turn on my phone is the phone-!-pc message. I can still get to download mode but no luck getting into recovery mode. Odin seems to be able to detect my phone when I set it to download mode and connect it to my PC. Is there anything I can do to save my phone?
Any help would be appreciate.
Ok. I managed to save my phone. Turns out I could still re-flash an official firmware. /Close Thread
I have a Verizon Galaxy Tab 7-inch with WiFi and 3G running Android 2.2 (Froyo). I mistaking tried to flash the new Android 2.3.3 before realizing it was only for GSM phones. I followed all the instructions using Odin3 (1.7) and everything looked like it worked except it never rebooted and I never got it into the Recovery Mode. I was still able to get in Download Mode so I tried to find a compatible 2.2 ROM to flash. I flashed the Roto JME rom, it didn't reboot. I flashed P1000NUBJM2_P1000NUBJM2_P1000NUUBJM2_HOME and it didn't work. Odin3 seemed to install these, I always got PASS. Now my Tab is totally unresponsive. Odin3 acts like it's installing but I can't get the Download Mode screen anymore. How do I get it back to factory or some working system? I don't expect to save anything I've loaded, I just want it to work again. HELP. Thanks.
P.S. If I can't fix this, who do I take it to to re-install the system? I got it from Verizon.
Can you get it into recovery mode? (Turn off, then Power + Volume UP)
No success
No, nothing I do will show anything on the display. I can't get into Recovery Mode or Download Mode. However, when I'm hooked to the computer and press the correct buttons to turn on/off or Download Mode, I hear the computer beep indicating it sees the USB and the yellow COM widget in Odin3 lights up and says it's up and in Download Mode. I can then flash it and it says PASS. I also just tried Heimdall and it also seemed to successfully flash the original Verizon SCH-I800_VZM firmware. Nothing displays when I try to go into Recovery Mode. I don't even see the picture of the battery when I plug it into the wall. Have I somehow trashed by screen?
Hi ! I got the same problem and now my Tab totally bricked...
Samsung just needs to give us the files and software to load these tabs back to stock! That would end the return issue for the carriers and let us unbrick them. Like any other device, there is a way to fix it without having to send it back.
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
First, ICS, work very well.
The problem is when i go to recovery menu, in all options say "can't mount.... log" or something
And when i go to run ICS in the display only appears "SAMSUNG GALAXY S", an don't boot, and i flash other recovery with Download mode in odin and the same message, "can`t mount...."
suddenly the phone don't turn on.
Now the phone can't turn on, can't enter in download mode and recovery menu.
And i tried JIG, and don't work...
Any Idea ????
hallo i also sent you a PM
did you tried the hardware dongle ? it's a little USB plugin, modified that take your phone into dowload mode
i solved with that some month ago
Any idea ???
Indeed maybe you could try a usb jig, weird that it wont turn on..
I've seen this issue once after a failed Kies update. Unfortunately nothing helped to revoke the phone... Not even the JIG :-(
We were fortunately able to get the device replaced by Samsung.
As this has happened with a non warranty destructing update provided by Samsung you may be able to pretend it happened during a Kies update to get the device replaced.
Good luck!
Are you sure that your phone didn't just run out of battery?
Help, i may have bricked this thing. Tried to go from a 2.3.5 to ICS but couldn't get into recovery from the get go for some reason. Decided to DL Rom Manager to change the recovery but the option for Captivate wasn't listed in the flash options just nexus/ nexus 4g, epic 4g and i9000. I choose one of them. Which one i cant remember. Now phone wont go past att boot screen or the frozen battery screen when i plug in the usb. (no battery behind it just the star) after i use the jig without it booting, i plug in the usb to my pc and the screen will display the ATT boot screen instead of the battery screen for some reason, yet still no recognition in odin. I tried the 3 button, odin bat pull trick, adb, and jig with no success. Nothing will recognize it.
Any suggestions?

Go here... Captivate Connection Issues and Download Mode Help
And don't use the Rom Manager for the Captivate.
didnt work...........
Any other sugestions? I've tried everything on the list.
Seems like my Tab P1000 is major f**k**!
I've had issues with the tab showing up in Odin from day one...Does not show up.
Managed to get the tab rooted thru One Click Root.
Tried to get CWM but couldn't find it anywhere for P1000.
Downloaded and installed Mobile oding to try flashing Overcome.
Put all the files into Mobile Odin, and started flashing.
This was when things went sour...
The flashing just stopped for several hours at the Samsung Logo screen, after 5 hours i just turned the whole tab off holding PWR button.
Tried to go into upload mode, but that didn't work, got "Power reset or unknown upload mode". The tab goes into Download mode, but displays as "Unknown Device" in Device manager in Windows7 (I am running 64bit). I have tried to install the Samsung USB drivers, still does not detect the tab. Tab is not detected by Kies, Odin or Heimdall at all. Displays as Unknown Device in Zadig, and the driver is not possible to install. I think I have read through all the posts available regarding this subject, but not sure. I hope there is a way of fixing this without disassembling the Tab.
I purchased the Tab from a colleague, and he had installed the 2.3.3 firmware on it. He said he got Odin working and that was how he put 2.3.3 in. Could this be the source of the problem??
It got nothing to do with your colleague flashing 2.3.3 using odin.
I use Odin all the time, but never have actually tried Mobile Odin.
But I suspect the actual problem was, your G-tab was not properly rooted.
After you tried rooting your G-tab, did you tested it with Titanium backup or with any apps requiring root access?
Installing custom rom requires root access, otherwise it will fail in the middle because of write access failure.
Unrecognized by Windows 7... As many posts state, you need to connect to kies at least once before going to download mode so that your g-tab could be detected by Windows.
You may try this solution:
Start Odin on your computer, connect your g-tab and while connected to the computer, reboot your g-tab again to download mode. Do this three to five times, and see if Odin can detect it.
