Stumbled across a working gingerbread compatible VVM version for VZW for those of us that are paying for it and thought I would share. Doesn't require any edits/hacks whatnot and does not require flash via CWR like some of the other versions that were floating around (that don't work, believe me I've tried. ).
Edit: I've only tested this on BAMF 2.0.5 but I assume it would work for all GB ROMs.
Edit2: This is the actual VZW version, not the one floating around in the other threads.
works on CM7 as well!

I've also tried google voice and can not get it to notify me when I have a voicemail. I'm using bamf sense 3.0 preview 4. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Yeah running it here. Big improvement.
I tried to install the update and it says that it's not optimized on my device. It won't swype at all. It only works as a normal keyboard.

I read the Swype forum and apparently you have to wait till a screen pops up and click enable. I was clicking back once it finished installing, so the license didnt' download.
Well I tried it again and this time it works awesome! Faster then ever, no notice in accuracy but I'm a swype ninja and that voice icon looks great in my corner he is mine and I shall call him mike

Yeah I'm addicted to swype but hate their "sell it as hardware" business model and makes me really wish something better would come along because I will not buy a specific phone for swype because anything I pick won't get it, N1, G2 or the upcoming NS. Just sell the **** in market, even if it's $20, I'd rather pay the $20 to load it on whatever Android device I choose. It's all good for me being in the beta but I know it sucks for the rest of the world.
it only works fine for the first few days.
Now it sucks again ... just the same as September beta. Still can't delete words scraped from your address book, if you have 3K contacts with every name the world has ever known in every language, that sux.
For those wishing to get on the Swype Beta list the URL is https://beta.swype.com/android/create/.
I signed up when the registration period had ended and was able to get it some time in January. Hope this helps someone.

Hell No... I tried it... that's about it, but it's a lot like the Vanilla launcher; no options/customization.
I thought the stock gingerbread launcher had a 3d app drawer like froyos stock launcher
Is this ONLY available if you're running a Froyo rom? Everything i've read says it's 2.3 launcher for Froyo. Has anyone run this on Eclair, or is it even possible?
I'll stick with LP full version. Nothing beats it...
Ill stick with the stock froyo launcher.

Yes, I uninstalled the others while this one was installing.

Hi there,
Just wondering, I've been using the GMail.apk from ICS and I love the new feel of it over Honeycomb.
I was curious though if anyone's been able to grab the Calendar from ICS and if so knows where to locate it. I've been browsing the web and search the forums, but alas no success for me. I'm probably doing it wrong.
Thank you!
Here ya go. I have not tried them so I don't know if they work.
Thanks, gave it a shot.
I also pulled the 2 apk's out of the Nexus One ROM that's floating around on their forums.
Just this package cannot be parsed errors after renaming the old ones and pasting these two in there and trying to install. Even did a reboot.
Oh wells
didnt work for me either. i think it must be made for the new ics build which is very different from what we have now. thats why a lot of apps dont work for us.

Try this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313139. It an ICS theme like Honeybread, but it has the Calender.apk. It seems like it works with the included framework and systemui files. Here's a screenshot.

I had seen that but unfortunately i'm on a 4G Xoom. And it states there it's not currently compatible and looks like people have gotten themselves into endless boot loops after flashing that over a 4G Xoom.

the first file installed and worked fine on the EVO LTE, any word on what the second install file is.
I recently flashed CM10, and it seems to be working perfectly fine. Keyboards, home and search buttons, Gapps all good. However, when installing the most recent Adobe Flash APK, the problems are glaring. While it does work, the video is severely choppy, Flash Adverts get blended into other Flash running panels, creating a stripped pattern everywhere. It's just a total mess. I've tried running it on Firefox with similar results, and Chrome rejects it entirely.

Yeah, I did realize that, but I figured that someone would've discovered the issue and found a way since I expected that the issue lied in the ROM and not the CM itself, but I guess not. I'm just going to stick with a stock ROM then, until someone makes an ICS ver. of CM. for Vivid.

In my experience... if there is something you wanna find that requires flash... there is usually an iOS friendly version... because all must bow down...

Yep. Seems like it. Just watched a video on it.
Edit: It's probably a DPI thing. It will get sorted out soon.

never worked on any of my tablets. Pull it off another device and and install. Will work fine

Have you noticed any issues using 480?
I thought it was an Android 5 issue. My N5, when updated to 5.0, didn't allow me to download it either.
I'll try changing DPI to see if it works.
I'm not 100% sure. My DPI is set to 493, and I can download it. But what I cannot download is the ESPN FC app.
My device is compatible for this app ..
This might not be a popular opinion, but if you can't download ScoreCenter, just download Yahoo Sports. Yahoo's app is a million times better than ESPN's. Trust me, I used to swear by ScoreCenter, but I heard a bunch of people on Twitter hyping up Yahoo's app. I finally gave it a try and was blown away. I don't even bother with ScoreCenter anymore.
Just use market helper to spoof your phone.
Found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2146216
I think issue isn't android lolipop its the screen resolution that i is causing the issue I pulled apk using myappsharer from another phone I can post if anybody needs.
did they finally start using video clips that aren't from dial-up? that's the reason i uninstalled earlier this year.

No. It was never "compatible" with any tablet I've owned. I'm sure the issue is screen size
