I know there are several threads about cases for the HD2 here, but a few are about leather cases (which I do not want to use)...there some about the silicone/ gel cases which I would like to use, and theres the invisible skin type which I would like to know more about. I do not know if the Invisible Skin/Armor ..w/e you want to call it -they seem the same to me... are tough enough to truly protect the phone from a fall ?
I also would like to know if there are any silicone/gel cases which are thinner than usual but still provide adequate protection...
One good example I can think of is this one case I saw on an iphone -it was a clear hard case, but it was very thin which made me really like it...

sry but I dont agree... you pay a lot of bucks for a phone to put it in a junk case?
its like driving a big car and paint it with sh*t
Alot of bucks!? it's ONLY £1.49!

you're not reading properly. he's saying why go cheapo on an expensive phone?
Just got the Silver Case Mate Barely There today. Brilliant stuff - super snug, mirror finish, super thin. As thin and light as More-Thing's cases in fact, which I used to use when still on a Touch HD. Finger magnet but love it anyways

Better go cheapo-if i'd get a nice looking case, i wouldn't want THAT to get scrathed up either!
I ordered the capdase protector, seems to be really nice. the invisible shield and stuff like that offer no drop protection i hope mine will offer some.
Hmm... the barely there case not available yet for Tmo US HD2
I bought my "barely there" case direct from HK. Problem is, if you have multiple batteries like I do, you tend to scratch your phone when removing/replacing the case to get to the battery cover.
This led me to use the clear/invisible armor/shield, but I've had to remove the section that covers the antenna because it seems to cause rapid battery drain - see my post at thread 652013.
I received

and i find it's great.
is it much different than the one shipped with the hd2?
Tried quite a few cases but my fav so far is this one:

Also known as flexishield case. It's like a soft plastic / gel case so glides in and out of your pockets easily and doesn't stick/attract lint like some silicone cases. It offers good protection but only adds about 1mm thickness to your phone.
I recommend black/gray but the choice is yours.
I actually ordered one like that...
but I find it hard to believe that it only adds 1mm thickness, 1mm is like a screen protector thickness almost....idk maybe I am wrong?
Okay maybe two then
But certainly doesn't add much at all. A screen protector is micron thin. I don't think it adds 1mm...
There are also variations in the gel type cases. Some are actually thicker. My friend bought a similar one but was quite a bit thicker. It had like a checked pattern on the back.

You guys may want to check the HTC HD2 Armor Case by BoxWave - The Metal Case sells @ Amazon.com for $27.95 (US DLS) I just bought 2 one for my wife & me. My thing is; you have a pretty nice and expensive phone, you better protect it good!!!
Armor Case by BoxWave it sells on amazon.com for $27.95 US dls. Really nice!!!! I just bought 2!!
Has anybody heard of Sunsky's silicone case for the Nexus-S?
[please google "Google Nexus.s - Sunsky" I can't post any links just yet...]
I want to buy a decent case for the phone -- but i dont want to waste $30 on one of those bestbuy platinum cases because I've heard they are quite horrible...
that, and I'm pretty sure better cases would be made by Feb-ish, so I might as well spend the $30 then to get something a bit more decent ..
Any thoughts/suggestions?
[yes, i've read the other posts on Amzer and the Platinum series protectors ... I was just wondering if anyone's heard of Sunsky as a brand itself / knows anything about them...]
http://www.sunsky-online.com/view/151846/Silicone+Case+for+Samsung+Nexus.s++i9020++Black+.htm
I have never heard of these cases and it looks like they only sell in wholesale.. And the cases are only 59 cents. So it doesnt look like they are very good quality, while i could be wrong about that.
I don't know if those pictures are photo-shopped, but it looks ugly and uneven on the phone. I'd rather get Amzer silicone case.
ewww... they make the phone look horrible
hoping to see more sleek designs
They're those cheap silicone rubbery stretchy condom like "cases". They're crap.
I have the Platinum Case (I started that thread, with pictures). It's good, only issue is you need to put several pieces of paper on the inside so the phone doesn't wiggle around in the case.
Has anyone tried this case? I'm looking to use it on a White Note, think it will look good?

I was looking at this case yesterday. I've been through 4 cases already and can't find what I want. Basically just want a thick rubber or tpu case but none seem to exist. The ones I've bought have all been really thin and offer little protection.
why not get the samsung tpu case? i have it and love it, at least for now until my defender arrives today, but the samsung one is good
I bought the black matte diztronic case, but feel that I would prefer something a little thinner and possibly clear. I am not sure if a clear case is reall going to work without the case getting dingy eventually. I really want to show off the back of the phone because it is so beautiful, but I want protection against scratching from surfaces and dropping too.
Post some pics of your cases. I would like to see what others are using.
Dot view cases welcome too!
I am really interested in this clear bumper case:
found here
Which cases are you rocking on your One X9? Got any pics?
Well this is a happening forum, isn't it?
Ok, Ill start.
I bought a Nillkin nature TPU case.
I like it a lot, it's thin, fits perfectly, is really grippy and doesn't add any bulk.
The buttons are all easy to press too.
It even has a micro USB cover at the bottom to keep dust out of the port.
I recommend it.

i'm using the Cover On "Shadow Armor" in gunmetal gray. Makes the phone a bit bulkier but it has a kickstand built in which is pretty nice
haven't had an opportunity to take it for a proper spin yet as i soft-bricked my device whilst attempting the root procedure detailed in another thread
still trying to get it sorted out, vodafone want to charge me $380 for the service :X
trying to get my hands on a stock rom but i think it's going to be a while before one becomes available. i've hit up HTC, hopefully they'll take mercy on me
I have the shadow armor as well and while it is nice and sturdy and offers good protection all around it's a bit too bulky for me. I quite liked the HTC case that came in the box but is also a tad too thick.
Currently using an IMak case that's doing it's job until my nillkin hard case arrives.
I have the case armor with kickstand. It's okay but I would rather get a clear case because the phone is beautiful. Amzer using now but also waiting for Imak clear hard case.
A Phone wallet from golla. Rey/road.
I like my phone naked.
