[Q] my galaxy stop working

my galaxy s stop working when i press the power button nothing Appears nothing work

You must have done something to make it not work.

Your choice is one to return to a Samsung Service centre ,
or use the download mode recovery jig .
And or charge the battery .

use the jig, i have got one too (just in case) it is cheap and fast, and you have got guide fot it right here on forum, just use button search

Try to unplug the battery, wait a little and plug it back.
Does your sgs react when you charge it ?

The same for me but I made a mistake, load a Captivate Stock Rom(I also have a Captivate). After he reboot in loop and now finish... Black screen nothing happen. Stay in charge this night. Nothing this morning.

[Q] Fail flashing via odin

i did flash my i9000 via odin. i have started from pit.512 file and tick repartition and reboot options ( i shouldn't tick reboot i think ) and right now i have got only black screen. Computer don't see my i9000 when i plug in it to usb. i found on youtube how fix it by jtag connection with riffbox. Will it fix my problem? Anyone knows how to fix my problem in other ways?

i have flash with odin official firmware but my computer auto shutdown during the proceees not complete.... and i try on my ace... my ace is cannot on, screen is blank not download mode or any .... is blank only.. i try remove batery n push 3 button n pullin back the batery still cannot on...
pleaese help me...
my ace is sofware poblem only rite?
can repair? or is dead forever?

dont worry , try if you can enter again in download mode and repeat the procedure

Computer getting shut down while Odin flash is going on is not at all good...Only jTag or service center can help you now ...If you can't get into donwload mode,that's the only way..

i have try and same , cannot up /on and still blank screen..... my waranty by samsung is end,

Now is it just a little billedeaf, a mobile and PC with a small yellow triangle in between, with the exclamation point?

hey i have uset Odin ,and my phone works again, but with android 2.2.1, and i cant update , neither with kies or OTA(
and when I try to enter the menu, while pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power buttons together
I get a triangle with android where it says downloading??

Try to download the 2.3.3 firmware, update to 2.3.6 , root and then you can flash your roms normally...
ust be shure to download the right firmwares.

use any i9000 rescue kit or upgrade kit in My Android Collections, and you will be fine,
connect to odin3 and it will be able to flash.

try to clean your battery contacts, check if battery is swollen and charge battery externally if possible, BUT if this happened because you interrupted flashing or lost power whilst flashing than you need to look at My Android Solutions

try this... take battery out do the 3 button combo to get into recovery mode or download mode and while holding buttons re-insert battery, then leave phone for about 5min and see if it comes alive.

Hey, man: you've pressed vol down if download mode appeared LOL check what happens if you use vol.up instead
Don't worry, if you have download mode, there is great chance you will save it. Check my recent post how I revived my nearly bricked i9000, sent few days ago (nearly step by step)

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace for over a year never had a problem, I decided to try some forums ROM and I've never tried your personal data, etc. .. After one week I noticed that you have downloaded the phone battery in a hurry, I waited that you download after you have downloaded will no longer light! I tried all the methods, I borrowed a battery of this ACE always had 0 results decided to send it in for service, but I can not find the receipt (-. -). I tried to press all the buttons and turn it on, it works, but remains on a black screen with the words EMERGENCY DLOADMODE (ARM9 MODE) the samsung ODIN does not recognize that solutions are there?

I guess you want to flash a stock rom via Odin but Odin doesn't recognize your phone, right?
Did you try pressing " Vol Down + Home + Power " in order to boot into download mode? Do it and then try to connect your phone with your pc
You can also re-install Samsung's drivers in your pc again
If your battery drains fast you can try doing a wipe battery stats into CWM recovery

recovery does not work and do not work download
You want to get it back stock!
More samsung pc reads them not only this law

Try this:
If your phone doesn’t boot into download mode and you have a black screen after flashing froyo heres how you unbrick it, it worked for me .
Step 1 – Prepare odin with the firmware you want to flash (in my case was gingerbread 2.3.3) and get it ready to go;
Step 2 – Remove battery and connect your galaxy ace to the computer;
Step 3 -- Insert battery holding Volume down + Power + Home
Step 4 – At this point Odin should have detected your SG Ace ( Yellow rectangle should appear);
Step 5 – Click Start button in Odin and wait about 5 min.
If all goes well it should come back to life.

@NIBES00 : i didn't understand how you bricked the phone.! But the ARM 9 mode is the last resort to save your device! This mode uses different drivers. So you will have to download the whole set of drivers from Samsung. Not the normal drivers that come with kies. There is a different 20 mb file. You will need that set.
PS : this mode is accessible by pressing vol up + vol dwn + home + piwer buttons together!
