yeah. installed fine on my rooted phone with FR001 (leaked Froyo 2.2 Rom by Attn1). played smoothly. looks very promising.

Hmmm. I'm running cm6.1 and pocket legends and angry birds but fail to install. If any one knows a fix for this our has any ideas why this happens I would greatly appreciate the help.

hmm am also running attn cm6.1 both a.bird and pocket legend running smoothly, and installed fine.

It works well on Sense Froyo. Installed it last night. I noticed it took a few minutes to install unlike other apps.

I'm having the same issue running the latest nightly. I DID however get Angry birds to install by unmounting the SD card (AKA plugging it into my computer and enabling USB storage) and installing from the market. The same method did not work for Pocket Legends though.
It's a shame, the game looks sweet!

Here my setting for cm6.1:

Hey fellow gamers. With the recent updates to psx4droid game compatibility has improved quite a bit imo. There are also a few more tweaking options in the settings.
I was wondering if anyone here has played around with them to find the most compatible settings, primarily metal gear solid. Most other games I play work great without changing any settings. Also any tips you might have as far as best kernal/rom combo that works well for you. I'm currently on serendipity 2.0 with the speedmod kernal.

I've been playing around with PSX4Droid for quite a while now, and I have to say that while compatiblity has improved drastically with V2, speed has gone down significantly.
I'm running the latest Cognition Froyo build right now, and while FFVII, FFIX, Xenogears and Diablo all run with no glitches, they run extremely poorly.

Thanks for the response, have you tried changing the precise cdrom or cycle multiplier to see if anything improves? Playing Resident Evil 3 right now myself and it does very well, possibly due to the pre rendered backgrounds... Just wishing metal gear wasn't so choppy.

You know what, I just installed the latest Serendipity build today with Glitterball's OC/UV kernel, and FFIX runs absolutely perfectly now. It's actually pretty surreal. This has been the first time where I haven't had a single glitch.
The game will start with some audio lag, but it clears after a few minutes of gameplay. I would try Metal Gear for you, but I don't have an ISO handy. I'll convert my copy to an ISO when I have time and give it a shot.
edit: Yeah, I gave MGS a shot and it has quite a few audio problems, but gameplay is fairly playable. A lot more audio issues than most games I've tried though.

Wow, this sounds great. I'd love to play Gran Turismo on my phone!

I've actually read that disabling the music can speed it up on older phones, had no effect for me though perhaps I will swap a few different kernals and see if there is a considerable difference.

Glitterball's kernel probably works so well for me just because it's an OC/UV kernel. My Captivate's processor runs at 1.2ghz with it on.

Oh I have done my fair share of flashing lol usually twice a week if new stuff keeps coming out.
Anybody else having success with roms and or kernals?

Yep the latest version is running very nicely indeed although even OCed teken 3 is not quite there yet....not that you can really play it with onscreen controls (damn you Samsung for this Bluetooth) but as a performance measure.

The ipad has those suction cups or something that attach to the screen as joysticks.... I wonder if those wold work on the captivate......

I think those would work on any capacitive touchscreen device, so long as the touch buttons on the emulator are the right size for the joystick.

Yeah hopefully there are some for cheap..... I think it should work.

I just played Resident Evil 3 all the way through, ran flawlessly.

My psx playing ff7 is horrible with the latest updates... 1.0.8 was the best for me.

any specific permission that must be checked?
i installed on my OG 3G xoom and it closes immediately upon clicking the app. i am running the latest team rogue cm9 kang if that makes any difference.

I am running it on my stock wifi Xoom and it works, although is sluggish at time. I did not need to do anything special other than install and open. It will hang occasionally, but works more often than not.

hmm, strange. i downloaded it from the db link above and installed just fine. but it just wont open. i'll try downloading it to my pc and moving it over manually.

Seems like a really nice app just to bad you have to pay a monthly/yearly fee to use it. Kinda sucks

What's up with asphalt 6 has anybody got this working. I hear mad people have problems and it force closes. It closes on me after movie intro
If anyone has it working. Tell what rom and if you did anything special to get it working.

It works here as well.I'm running vs 3.1.1 and so far the only problem I came across are bad pixels but those seem to go away after I restart the map or in the worst case the game,but no crashing what so ever. U could be using the wrong vs.

Got it the same way as you,but I downloaded the game data sepratly.
Just to add that it worked even on previously flashed roms to like Continuum 4 and 5 and basicly all of the team phoenix roms.

Go to your installed apps in your phone setting DO NOT uninstall game, just clear game cache. Start Asphalt again,download should work.

You're welcome,hope it works.I would try first with the vs 3.1.1 and download game data trough game and if thats a no go then try the htc game data
Also sry forgot to mention that on the first run u must be connected to the internet cuz it will validate the game for ur device, which might have been the reason why u got the crash.

so freakin annoyed. it just wont work. the game data was a no go. then just trying to download failed every time id exit every time and clear data and no dice. whatever. maybe i will try to find game data for galaxy s somewhere

Good to know that 3.1.6 works, I'm currently running a voodoo enabled lagfix kernel by xcal on Mosaic III D and have no issues,smooth as butter.GB speeds things up,time for an upgrade Ben

I had the same issue, I have found that turning of rotation, sync and multi window seem to resolve it (I usually just swipe down and switch everything off now just to be sure!)

The game is crashing after every event/course. I have to relaunch the game .
It crashes when it tries to connect to Origin ? I have a circle infinite loop, then crashes.
Error is "NFS has stopped", and if i wanna read error log, i also have "Google Play has stopped"
Sync, rotation Multiwindows are disabled obv.
So, after each challenge/run, i have to relaunch game, annoying

playstation app works really slow, i mean you swipe down and it takes like 10 seconds to actually go down
Flipboard app also has some kind of stutter

Just turn off your Flipboard app. Settings/Device settings/Program manager/find a Flipboard and press on it, and press turn off.BTW:Just turn off all settings on status bar, because it works too.
