Miui lock is a nightmare of coding. I was speaking with whitehawk about it, and it sounds like its way over my head. Maybe in the future.

2.2 Version - Private Stock

For those of you curious about what I have been up to, I have been busy porting, hacking, learning, etc..
This ROM is a combination of several ROMS I am working on and is what I have been using as my daily driver lately.
You may have noticed that I tried to make this into a theme for Bi-Winning and later pulled it. The edits were too numerous and partially nontransferable to Bi-Winning to deliver what I built this as.
Lock Screen uses its own wallpaper pulled from framework-res, it can be changed by theming but can not be changed using the function in settings - the lock screen that function uses is not implemented in this ROM.
As this is my Private Stock, it contains elements that I use and gets rid of those that I don't.
It has no extended power options and only includes my lock screen at this time.
Does not have wifi-calling. Does not contain EDT tweaks. Does not include Voodoo.
Comes stock with KB5 modem and kernel. I highly suggest you try this as I have built it before flashing over it.
Look to the thread of the kernel you are wanting to flash for instructions - I don't know what they require.

There is only one Deodexed copy of BOJS5 with working Haptic and Non-Roaming Signal fix. YOU ARE LOOKING AT IT. If you plan on kanging this ROM, don't - please. I would rather send you an unthemed version for you to work with.

Im right there with you, this looks AMAZING im on CM7 but i just might have to come back because this looks tempting.
This theme started out as a simple port and update of TopShelf10's HighVoltage theme. It ended up being my obsession. The original themes OP did a great job on the Framework-res and TWFramework-res.apk's but that is all I had to work with, almost everything else has been themed by myself. Yeah, I caught that. I havnt really looked over his new framework-res but it looks like he took some stuff from crysis21's theme, added it to his and pushed out an update.. I still like his 1st version. He did some pretty cool stuff in HighVoltage 3.8........

If your reffering to the old High Voltage theme I put out for SC 2.92, then this is a little more detailed, I went much further into the little stuff that I left out of the 1st theme version.
You'll enjot this one much more. Also havr a semi transparent dialer but I havnt put up a screen for it.......

No lag for me. In fact I think it is a nice addition to miui roms. It gives people the drawer and ability for screen to rotate without losing the MIUI feel. It can be added to any of the MIUI ROMs also. ;-)

As for battery life I took it off the charger @8 it's now 5:30 and I have 44% left. That is average use for me (some calls, txt, checking the fourms, and some GPS navigation)

Hmm this might be my new daily ROM, everything seems to be smooth, haven't been a huge fan of MIUI (always seemed to be slow on my phone) But this one might help me make the move. As long as the battery is good ill probably keep it. 1 thing though, is there a way to disable the BLN lights?

hey guys im new to miui. is there anyway from keeping it from adding an icon and therefore a screen for EVERY SINGLE BLASTED APP i have. no lie i have like 115 apps or something redonkulus like that. i dont want like 22 homescreens. what ever happened to the simple app drawer idea?

The 1st and best way is folders.
Is you must have an app drawer you can get a launcher from market, but you will loose some miui functionality.

Boot into clockwork recovery
Perform a factory reset, wipe data/cache

Let it sit for 10 mins.... reboot

That ICS theme looks nice. Been waiting for a look like that on a Froyo ROM. Glad it came from you guys. Your ROMs are the tops. Was using the ECOTOX DragonMOD Kernel earlier and had bad battery drain problems (running on Moped's Fat Rider). Have you seen anything like that in your testing?

The only time I noticed any battery drain is if you leave the wifi on. Wifi was not turning off when the screen was off, but that was about it. Were you leaving it on the default smartass governor when you were running it yourself?

Big fan so far guys. GPS is good, Bluetooth is good, very snappy all around and I dig the font and most of the new icons... although I miss the semi-transparent pull down for the notification page in Slim_Ryder and Fishman's v4 I'll post back on the battery life, and whatnot after some real world use this weekend.

I tried both smartass and scary governors. The Wifi may have been my problem. I'll try it out again when I get this ROM flashed.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone can do me a favor and pull the settings.apk and upload it on here for me? I am at work for a few more hours and have no connection with my phone and while I can post on my work PC, I cannot download (I can go away from my desk log into tapatalk and download the apk far quicker). I am testing out something and want to see if that settings.apk will work on it. The one from the OP, not the ICS themed one.

In my experience, it was really nice. Maybe you should "steal" some tweaks from it that you haven't used yet to improve the Bi-Redux experience! Its already great, just wanna help to make it 2x better!
