i am currently working on a few things(a lot of roadblocks getting the lockscreen working on akirah's rom).. you can ask the themer for that theme if he/she plans to.
try enom's rom it has theme support for donut. gchrome and official hero theme.

in the themes section. i know of 3. mine, gChrome, bluedroid, and i don't know if ted has released his hero theme yet, but he has a beta i know he is testing.
hi there ppl.
some confusions i have regarding installation of themes.
1. will the phone memory gets erased when i install themes via recovery mode? ( will the apps n the data on the phone gets formated?)
2. my hero is android 2.1. i want themes which appear like the nexus one UI
so please guide me to find UI theme like the Nexus One
3. to be other the safer side, im even downloading the Hero RUU roms of SouthEastAsia from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=559622
if i later get back to this RUU rom, will i be entitled to updates to the phone?

Ill try to answer your questions as best as i can.
1. No if u install a theme, your apps wont get erased. However, make sure that you install a theme that is compatible with the rom you have on your hero.
2. The nexus one ui is the standard google ui. You can get a similar homescreen from the android market called launcher pro. As far as i know there are no nexus one themes for hero.
3. You will recieve updates if you switch to an official rom.

If you have your rom setup already and would like to keep your apps if you have used a SD-EXT script makes sure you perform a nandriod backup in CWM.
After Flashing the Rom restore only the /Data partition and SD-EXT Partition clear the caches and Reboot.
Also if you flashing this rom from new Please Make Sure you Flash Gapps straight after the rom else it will not boot at all it will boot loop without Gapps.

Unable to Uninstall any apps in the /system/app directory due to permissions.
Slight Delay in Call Screen show (Should Be Fixed now)
Dailer need slight adjustment sizing wise.
Screenshots are not always perfect ( No matter what i do i can't fix this so retake the screenshots till it does do it perfect.)
Slight delay in screen response after app closes can cause a FC at times and can't be helped its mainly down to the GPS area.
Dailer Lag might happen for some people use the V6 Charger script to correct this.
Wifi Teathering not working USB does. Looking into this at the moment please use a 3rd party teathering program such as Open Garden Wifi Teather for now please.

The base of the rom is completed and can not go any faster. Most Memory leaks have been fixed as well.
Stock CPU Speed feels now like 768mhz clocked.
Apps that require SDCard reading loads faster this includes the SMS app overall the performance is now better.
Touch Activation working correctly with the proper Touch MIUI app so turning off touch will work proper if activated via lock screen.
Whats left to do. Remove the settings that no longer work, translate some apps and get a Theme section for LDPI done and made with themes from the community.
Sort Widgets out and resize them correctly and a few other apps.
Once the above is completed RC1 and then final will be made with addon packages.

Edit 2: unlike miui v4 this one doesn 't have milocker "installed " so you can get it from market. Maybe it 's possible to update lockscreen using that?

No major problems as yet, just a few resizing issues(bootanimation,camera), the camera hung when taking a pic so I'll swap it for the other miui one that will fix it. Everything else seems to be working fine.
Edit: can you swap the gallery for the 2d one in next release, 3d sucks on a wildfire.

Is this stuff something Stelios added or is it something new for ICS/MIUv4? It would be great if this stuff could be added.

Yes thats because Miui Gb themes are HDPI we have LDPI.

You need to extract the icons from the .mtz then resize them with a image batch resizer, i use faststone photo resizer and will do some when I get chance.

Thanks scratch. I need help with resizing what needs resizing if you get my meaning. I can get the apps that has been requested in the next rom but framework work etc i don't know how to do if you could help or point me in the right direction i'd be happy.
At the moment at least we have a working base rom that can be modded further to improve on. It wasn't a easy port i can tell you.
I still have errors about java I/O exceptions etc to fix the works.
Also i am thinking of adding G-apps to the rom too so any help from anyone will be handy and credits will be given.

Resizing the framework is a little tricky just about everything I did on the last miui gb rom broke it, I'm new to all this resizing stuff too + don't have that much spare time to sit in front of the computer, 3 kids to look after (I only started looking into resizing when miui came around for us) it doesn't seem too bad though a few menus in some apps have been out of place but nothing serious, the launcher was quite simple as I had the v4 launcher which had already been mostly resized to copy values from, this is by far much better than the last port and I'm sure it will get even better, this is my new daily rom for sure and I'll share everything I find or do to it successfully without a doubt.

Thanks so we are in the same boat how are you resizing the apps i have plenty of free time next week so if i get some pointers on what to do i can then start work on it.
Personally i would like every to take note this is not all my work i have noticed my thanks count going up and i am flattered but i really do not deserve the thanks i am only helping out.
Next we need to sort a kernel as well and make a few changes to the system area as some of the CM7 tweaks no longer work so removing them will help out as well.
Force Closes need fixing and so does the java i/o issues.
I am thinking on the next update to include a datasd script to increase the internal memory size need peoples views on this as well.
Whats needed on the bootanimation to be done.

Dud3me this is a Gingerbread versoin and not ICS nothing from the ICS Miui has been added to this version. I however have noticed that ICS version hasn't been updated in awhile hence the Gingerbread version as we have CM7 running ok on our Wildfires it was a logic move.

I'm aware that this is a gingerbread version...
And yes it's great that we have MIUI gb because gingerbread has, as stated earlier, almost everything working. I'm just saying that on the ICS version you CAN use hdpi lockscreen themes due to milocke/lockscreen thing RESIZING them to fit our screen. Also it resizes the icons so they're not huge (not perfect though). And when the theme doesn't have icon for a app it gives them this weird square which is supposed to be the background (see attachment). I was just wondering if it's possible to get these features on gb as well in the future.
Really appreciate your efforts and these "bugs" are just minor issues!
Bootanimation is 320x480 so it's just a little bit bigger than it should be, that's an easy fix though and if you haven't done it before me I'll do it and post a link, the other miui camera works perfectly so I'd just switch to that one, forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1000445 There's the link if anyone wants a quick fix.
The system apps seem to fit ok for me, just a few menus are messed up in some apps, I'll get some screenies to show you.

Didn't notice that bud. Your icons seem a lot bigger then what i have. whats the DPI set in the build.prop
Also next version will be using ONeill123 RUU Easy Installer to make things easier so it will install just like the HTC RUU.exe
We the Hyperdroid team requires a good theme for upcomming jb version of Hyperdroid for hd2. So i request you to submit any of your themes for the rom. The rom is based on cm10 4.1 jb framework and cm10 theme engine.
Here are my requirements.
The selected theme will be provided as a free system theme for the rom users, and please dont provide any adv/paid options for it.Though a paid/free version can be provided on playstore/xda for other rom users
It must be able to reflect the beauty of jb, with less dark backgrounds/windows/status bar etc. And please use colours that can be easily noticible.possibly more whites, blues,oranges, etc.
The selected theme will be used through out the various versions along with proper credits given to the dev, and he/she can provide a better version if available in future.
The theme may contain fast and unique designs and animation which should be simple and user friendly.
The theme should be able to theme the default cm10 apps like mail,messages,dialer,etc. Along with status bar,settings menu, few default icons etc.
The selected dev can become a part of hyperdroid development team for hd2. And as a ui designer for the rom. And is responsible to support for any ui redesign requirement of the rom if needed.
U may use tytungs jb rom to check ur theme and can pm me atleast 5 screenshots from the rom using ur theme. I will pm u back for ur submits. So pls hurry up, u can be a part of the hyperdroid hd2 rom which is one of the most downloaded and most stable rom for hd2.
A credit u get from the rom user will serve as a publicity for ur paid version (if any ) on playmarket and can virtualy help u to make money.
( be friendly readers, its all about requirements, and requirements should be said clearely for avoiding any misunderstandings.Thats why i had to use straight words, after all i am one of you.)
