Clear Widget Pandora 1.5.8 & Google Music Beta - Thunderbolt Themes and Apps

Here is the latest version of Pandora, 1.5.8 themed with a clear widget. This version is running fine on BAMF 1.7 it does not have a slow loading time, at least on my phone.
Just uninstall your current version, reboot and use a file manager to install.
Oh yeah there is no skip limit...
I added Google Music Beta to the 4th post with a clear widget as well.

Same thing to install this one. Uninstall your current one, reboot then use a file manager to install.

Exactly like that! Those widgets are so ugly but not anymore.

It should work on Gingerbread, I don't see why not.
And for the path, if your just using music on your phone it should be sdcard/media/music but if you have received your invite from Google then it will stream to your phone from Google's cloud.
Edit: I just installed it on my wife's Droid X running Gingerbread and it works great. So Gingerbread is a go.

Nope, their both signed. If your having an issue with them installing you need to make sure that you uninstall your current version of the app then reboot and they should install without issue.
The signature does not match the market version that's why you need to uninstall and reboot first.

The path you need to create is /sdcard/media/music
The easiest way to to this is mount your phone to your pc and create a folder named media on your sdcard then inside of the media folder you just created make another folder named music and put all your music in the music folder. You might have to reboot for the app to see it but then again you might not.

ah..ok. I need to learn how to sign apps myself. I never did it when theming for the d1. I just pushed em to system partition so no signature was required.
Anyway..I uninstalled the pandora app I had...and installed this one w/o rebooting and it was fine. Usually a reboot is required for apps on system partition, but not data.
Thanks given bro! Nice job on the transparent layer. Its exactly what I did when I did pandora. You saved me the work of opening up the app and doing it. lol.

Is there a reason why you can't type up how it's done or at least post a link to a thread that does? Anyone else? I've done very minimal tweeks on android as I think for the most part the device is pretty solid, unlike the days of WM.
I'd really like the black gmail as I imagine is easier on the eyes as someone stated, however I do know about updating through update.zip to flash, though I know nothing of updating an APK file through this method...is it as simple as ZIPing the .apk file and flashing it?
Installed and it works well, but it's just the email list that's black. When you go into a message, it's white. Is this by design?
Jared
You do not need to flash this through ClockworkRecovery.
Just go into your System/App folder using your favorite root manager/root explorer, and replace the Gmail.apk file with the updated black version, then reboot your phone.
Alternately you can uninstall the Gmail apk through Titanium backup, then reinstall the provided black version.
Personally, I replaced the default gmail.apk with the black version in the new Epic Experience rom update, so it automatically replaced itself when flashing...
I'm actually unsure why it was suggested to flash through clockwork recovery, since the file is just a Apk file and NOT a signed zipped file.....
from a epic Galaxy far, far away.
Awesome, we're halfway there now. The only thing left is to figure out how to get those white background/black text emails reversed. Some already come with black background/white text, anyway to fool the app so it thinks they all are like that besides the ones with a colored background? Just brainstorming here, no real danger I hope lol

sorry i just re read the thread and i was wrong. i thought it was flashable with cwm.
so heres a step by step
1. download the apk
2. using sdx app remover or titnaium backup and delete the old gmail (or use root explorer to delete the gmail.apk
3. using root explorer copy the downlaed apk on your sd card.
4. goto system/app and mount the system r/w
5. past the apk here
6. click on the gmail.apk and install
7. reboot

Working My Water live wallpaper & more from Asus Transformer!

Here it is! A working apk of the My Water live wallpaper from the transformer.
Download the file then place it in system/app with Root Explorer (or whatever file explorer program you use) and change the permissions to what the rest are set at. I'm also attaching the Weather widget from the Transformer as well. If you want any other things the Transformer has let me know and I'll grab em. Credit goes to dc13 from the Transformer forum for deodex'ing the Rom so we can all enjoy this.
Screenshot below of the live wallpaper and Weather widget. I tried to get the screenshot app to work, but no luck. Most likely due to it being located and tied in with the Settings menu...
If you get "INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES" error on tiamat 1.4 or any other Honeycomb device, install the Weather_signed and MyWater_signed apk's that were provided by shift_
Added the default Asus Transformer wallpaper as well. It's the tree one.
I just rar'd up the whole /app/ folder. That way everyone can grab whatever else they want, and test them individually and maybe get some more things going. These aren't going to be signed, though. So they will need to be pushed to /system/app with Root Explorer or ADB. You can sign them yourselves, though! I use an Auto-Signer, I'll post that if needed.
Here is a video of the live wallpaper in action. Thanks to Clipp for this! http://www.smartkeitai.com/asus-transformers-water-live-wallpaper-available-for-motorola-xoom-video/

Hey everyone, welcome to Supra ROM!
This ROM is a split between Sense and AOSP, carrying over some of my favorite aesthetic features of vanilla Gingerbread while maintaining a Sense base for a unique experience unlike any ROM available for the Incredible.
**If you like it just post a reply telling me what you'd like to see improved, changed, added, removed, or any bugs that come up.**
This Rom is a port of SupraROM for the EVO3D. Original thread by Empiire can be found HERE
Thanks to Empiire for letting me bring this ROM to the Incredible
Thanks also to and in no particular order:
Wildstang
Joelz
Newtoroot
Nilsp
CyanogenMod
*This is a BETA release of this ROM.
*Most things are working.
*This ROM currently uses the leak Gingerbread Sense kernel, OTA kernel has been causing WiFi issues for me.
*There is also some resizing that still needs to be done but these things will all be addressed soon.
*Any other bugs or issues please report in the thread.
I've tested this using clockwork recovery and recommend using clockwork. To install perform a full factory wipe, wipe cache, scroll to advanced and wipe dalvik. Also always remember to do a backup before flashing. This is a BETA release. Full wipe needed even from previous release!
What doesn't work
Gallery - Use quick pic from market
HTC Music works for music on SD not emmc - Use DoubleTwist or similar market music player for emmc music
Let me know if you find anything else.
What works
Everything else!

Mm, I might give this a try.
Currently when I flash a rom I don't back up because I got 5 Roms on my other SD. If I back up this rom will it save my current work? Like all my apps on my homescreen, etc.?

Backing up will save your current setup exactly how you have it. Boot into recovery, scroll to backup/restore and select backup. Then you can wipe and flash and if you want to go back to what you have now then boot into recovery, select backup/restore, restore and choose the one that's date and time stamped with the backup you want to return to.

For those having issues with brainmasters ROM, I wonder if it's because it a MIUI ROM? Not ASOP...
I can't download it for some reason, so I can't test it. I doubt that it installs witht the Google Music App either, so I don't know that I can fix that....

I relplied to you earlier in another thread but I know this is the appropriate thread. Can you make them semi transparent? Like the calendar widget on ics? Hard to see the text when you have a light background. Thanks.
If you can do the Pandora one too that would be great.

It's up, grab music2_50.zip from the OP. I'm working on Pandora now, I'll let you know here with a link to the post if/when I get it.
Just to be sure, the semitransparent one is the new music app right?

All I've done is compiled sources to bring you these builds. All the heavy lifting is done over at https://github.com/htc-msm8960 - thank those guys, they are working incredibly hard to bring AOSP to this device. I think the list of developers goes something like this: h8rift, intervigil, toastcfh, deck, Flinny, Flemmard, Codeworkx, birdman
That means that any bugs that exist in other AOSP builds will probablacy exist in these builds.

» Building AOKP for your Sprint HTC One
First, create file .repo/local_manifests/m7.xml with the following contents: https://gist.github.com/ProfessorAnomaly/5535939
repo sync
Next, remove the devices/htc/msm8960-common directory from the source. (You must do this every time you repo sync.)
delete file: device/htc/m7-common/overlay/packages/apps/Settings/res/values/arrays.xml
open device/htc/m7-common/overlay/frameworks/base/core/res/res/values/config.xml, (line 86) find <integer name="config_deviceHardwareKeys">3</integer> and delete that line.
Add this to vendor/aokp/products/https://gist.github.com/ProfessorAnomaly/5535996 (m7wls.mk).
Finally, add the following lines to their respective files, https://gist.github.com/ProfessorAnomaly/5536027 & https://gist.github.com/ProfessorAnomaly/5536037
Build as usual.

Sorry of I missed it but what works what's still broke? Thanks for sharing!
Sent from my aluminum T.A.R.D.I.S!
All the same bugs as Cyanogenmod. The big one for a lot of people right now is camera, which the team is hard at work on as we speak.
Super excited for this, hope the call issue is fixed... can anyone confirm?
Calling works fine for me. Can't vouch for others. But I tested by calling my father earlier today and everything was perfect.
Is there a default music app included? I don't see one

It would appear not. Google Music should work great, however.

This happens when you flash AOSP 4.2.2 roms, everything should have been moved to a different folder.

Should I go back to sense do that then flash back and what type of folder should I move it to?

The flashing process moves everything into a folder for you. Normally the /0 folder, but that's coming from an s3

Yeah, it's a bit irritating cause some photos and music wouldn't show up and my gallery was borked so I backed up sdcard/0 to pc wiped internal storage then restored it to sdcard. Everything works now but I wish there was an easier way... :banghead:
