[SOLVED] Sipdroid/pbxes 'failed connection' - G Tablet Themes and Apps

I'd had Sipdroid+google voice working thru (formerly) pbxes.org, but started seeing 'failed connection' or 'failed registration' (404) msgs when I started my Gtab. Almost gave up until I realized that pbxes changed to 'pbxes.com'. So I changed that in the Sipdroid settings, and voila, it's working again.
Just an FYI...

Slick IM - Auth Error

I've been using Slick IM for a few weeks now, and today when I went to check my instant messages Slick locked up. I rebooted my ATT Tilt and now every time I try to connect to any of my im services through Slick I get the message "Error! Auth failed." I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and still no luck. Any help?
Feel free to contact me on aim - JPAY2002.

I thought I was the only one. I got the error and re-installed slick. Then I was on for a little bit and got booted and now I'm getting that error again. I was thinking of changing the login address from "login.oscar.aol.com", but I don't know of any others.
Anyone else having problems with Slick?
Yeah. It's doing the same thing to me.
It was working normally earlier today, but around 9 or so, it started giving me that weird error.
I used slick for several months and I can only remember 1 particular reason why I was receiving that error. This may sound weird but try it out, you need to have a data connection open previous to starting the application.

yes, I've experienced your issue. for some reason, slick doesnt communicate with the OS to turn on the data connection OR to keep it open (if you have your data connection set to turn off after a certain length of inactivity).. but Ive also had this AUTH FAILED issue and ive made sure my data connection is already active

camera error message

getting error message "Unable to initialize camera. Failed to set up camera device." after phone was dropped. everything else seems to work fine. any ideas?

[Q] Captivate: "Can not download at this time. Please try again later."

I recently started getting a pop up message at the bottom of my screen stating: "Can not download at this time. Please try again later." The message stays there for hours at a time and then will randomly disappear. I am not trying to download anything when it appears and I haven't been able to find a solution to get ride of the message that blocks the bottom part of my screen.
Is anyone else having this issue? It only started 2 days ago.
Same deal here and also I cannot data connect, I haven't done anything new these past two days so I hope some one knows
i've gotten that message too. the only way i could get rid of it was to restart the phone. no idea how it showed up
I was getting the same issue. I tried ending the SNS service and it stopped. It's probably from syncing to social networks.
awkwardsilence50: I tried disabling the SNS Service and it didn't seem to make a difference for me. I also don't have any social networking services syncing on my phone. Has this fix continued to work for you?
did you guys try updating? maybe it's trying to update but can't...
I have been getting this error as well. Based on my personal experience, it seems to be related to the "Weather & Toggle Widget" by Android Apps. I seem to always get that message when I have a bad network connection and that widget tries to update location and weather data. I have unistalled the widget and reinstalled it a couple times, and I only seem to get that message when I have the widget installed. MP13, I happen to know that you have that widget installed as well.

PuTTY Fatal Error

Does anyone know why Android Studio periodically attempts to open a connection (status bar says Checking Incoming and Outgoing Changes), and then fails with a popup(Title = "PuTTY Fatal Error", Content="Network error: Connection timed out")?
I took a screenshot and have attached it.
This began earlier today and has become really annoying.
PEBKAC
Loool
It was a work project, and Android Studio was trying to connect to the office Mercurial repository, which it couldn't do since I was at home.
*facepalm*
Nothing to see here... Move along.

[Q] Can I use "Got another device" settings transfer after initial setup?

I've got a new SM-910T with Android 6.0.1 (N910TUVS2EQB1) stock firmware
The first-time setup offers the Google "Got another device" NFC transfer.
But my current phone with Android 5.1.1 (N910TUVU2DOK2) won't find any "nearby devices" from Google Setup.
Can I skip over the "Got another device" and complete the initial setup on the new phone, and then come back and try that function later?
If so, where do I find it?

Here's the issue:
It does nothing with the suggested back-to-back NFC alone. On the new phone, I select Try another Way.
The old phone says searching for devices for a while, then eventually "no devices found"
If I put them back to back, I get a sound and the old phone says Touch to beam '.
Then it goes back to "searching for devices" and soon "no devices found"
When trying multiple times, sometimes the NFC position gives the message "Connecting To Device..."
That displays for a few seconds. Then a small notification "Sorry something went wrong".
Then it goes back to "searching for devices" and soon "no devices found".
OK - I'm moving on.
Sadly, a common situation --- a new "feature" introduced -- Doesn't work -- no documentation - no explanation.
I'll just keep using Titanium Backup!
