[ROM] Scarlet Leftovers V2 -ThickThemed (TEMP HURRY)

After Seeing SuperVibeS ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=912242 ) and how the Gingerbread look was removed from Nero3 and was nicely themed .. i got quite an idea for bionix v .. Started as a Theme. Turned into decompiling madness and i came up with this .
This ROM is basicly The Popular Bionix V Rom With Manyyy Graphical Changes Gives the phone a much different feel .. Theres no way you should own a vibrant and be on these forums and not have heard of this rom . HUGE thanks to TW for that amazingggg ROM - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=925548

This Rom took a me LONG time to finish with some added fixes that was needed ; im not really taking credit for the rom since this is using alot of parts from frameworks with nice detail and high quality themes, just for time spent putting pieces together . it was Made for Myself but i would like to share since the vibrant doesnt currently have a rom with this many graphical changes.. INSTRUCTIONS:
Remember Voodoo is Enabled *
Download ; Load to internal SD
Reboot Recovery ; Wipe Data/Cache Before Flashing
Flash. (Recommended Wipe Cache, *advanced cwr opt* Davlik cache , Fix Permissins)
Reboot
When ROM loads ; Go to Gmail, sign in .. go to market and accept agreements and let phone sync with gmail for a few mins .. lets say 5-10
Reboot . Love .. (Enjoy) ;p

So this is basically just a themed bionix?

edit :: seems like i have no homescreen? Gonna wait a bit and reboot to see if that fixes it. Everything seems to be working, but the home is just blank. I'm liking the direction of this though.
edit2 :: rebooted and it's still not loading. You say zeam was installed? I feel like it may be due to my install, so I might odin back to stock and then flash and see if it works then.

Hmm Odd .. Re Uploading With TW Launcher to make sure no problems . .
You can uninstall with Super Manager (A File manager from the market like astro) its my fav and goes with the wallpaper theme then used preferred launcher
Ill give the green light . . Upload @ 44% . .

for now if you want adb push a launcher from a pc to system/app and reboot
debugging should be on

Everything went well for me and I like it!! Gonna play with it some more but it feels very snappy. Colors are amazing, almost like an eyegasm haha. Oh and it doesn't wipe (forget if its mentioned in OP) so im guessing it would be best to come from bionix like I did.

I believe he just changed the launcher to TW Launcher. So there'd be no problems.

That's what I thought. I used the original link with zeam, and it worked after flashing back to stock. I think it was probably some issue with me converting from eugene's kernel with JFS overkill back to voodoo. I probably should have just manually converted it before, but w/es. About to pimp this out and post some results.

Just flashed and I forgot to wipe. Surprisingly everything works great and seems much faster. Got a forclose on a live wallpaper but that's ok cause I don't use them anywase. Anywase this rom is themed beautifully my favorite so far. What wifi calling app should I use?

Aria's Guide to Honeycomb

Unfortunately, our aria was not one of the select few to receive a Honeycomb port, but that doesn't mean we can't try to fake it
The purpose of this thread is not to give you Honeycomb or to propose a Honeycomb port but to transform your CM7 into a Honeycomb look-a-like.
Step 1: Install CM7 here http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=stable&device=liberty only stable is supported in this thread
Step 2: Get Pseudo S-off http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990771 now we can use Metamorph!
Step 3: Install Honeycomb Theme by haxzamatic (doesn't fully support mdpi but works for the most part, when it gives you warning, continue anyways)

Step 4: Download and Install Metamorph:

Install Metamorph then download file after (Save zip to "/sdcard/AndroidThemes")

Once installed and your zip is downloaded to "/sdcard/Androidthemes" (metamorph just created this folder)
Go ahead open Metamorph and select "Unzip/Extract new theme", you might have to allow superuser permission.
Select Honeycomb_Lock_MDPI
It will extract theme, close and give an error message about theme control of some sort. Just ignore that and proceed to reopen Metamorph.
Now go ahead and select Pick existing theme and browse the "Honeycomb_Lock_MDPI" and select HoneyLock.xml Close the prompt and Apply all. The phone will now reboot and the Icons will be replaced. Now you just need to flash the clock. The file is below.

Step 5: get honeycomb boot animation by putting this file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/121114/Aria/bootanimation.zip in sdcard's root and doing this in terminal emulator

Step 6:install honeycomb like lwp, its the city like one with streaks running across it. There is a free version but please support the dev by buying the paid version

Step 8: The purpose of this step is to edit your "about phone" section of your setting into making it say 3.0 instead of 2.3.3

Step 9: Install the new Honeycomb Music Player App! made for tablets but works beautifully in phones

Lockscreen apk caused me to bootloop. Downloaded 3 times with same results. Love the idea though. Maybe a simple fix.

Same here. There are also some problems with the keyboard(like right now. There's this white space on the bottom half of my keyboard). And the notifications bar is clear. But overall, great theme for an alpha stage. Great work!

Are you on RC1? The mod only works on RC1 so anything other than CM7 RC1 will probably not work, srry.

added 3.0 as android version in step 7. I actually tricked my friend into believing my phone had honeycomb by showing him about phone in settings.

Nice! Love the idea. Hope for a real port though...

ICS Working Keyboard!!!

Steps to install :
a) place file "latinIME_2.APK" in your sd card
b) open root explorer
C) Go to sdcard n find the place where u kept latinIME_2.apk in your sdcard
D) copy it to system>apps
E) set the permissions to rw-r--r-- by ticking the all three in "read" column and tick the first in the "write" column.
F) and then press ok and then reboot.

I got it working after I removed the stock gingerbread keyboard. That should be added to the instructions...

u don't have to remove the GB keyboard or rename the apk just change the permissions and reboot
the only thing that i noticed not working is the vibration

why is the version of the app 2.3.7 ? that is not ice cream sandwich !

I had to delete the stock keyboard on KJ3. Guess it differs from rom to rom?
EDIT: Is it just me, or is this just a themed version of the 2.3 keyboard? Doesn't have the new autocorrect layout that the ICS keyboard is supposed to have.

because its not ICS. i opened the app with android commander on my pc to side load it to system (it can do that) and it came up with the app info and its 2.3.7 build

Yup. It's originally from this thread. Last one in the list. Works well though and nice and clean looking. But definitely not from ICS.

Works on Obsession JVT but vibrate on key press isn't working.

Thanks for reading this post and trying to help me nhoc_maruko9x, but when i tried it, i got a gray bar under the status bar with the word "homescreen" at first it worked, but after eg. 20 seconds it lagged crazy and i had to restore my old backup because the rom started with this launcher, and i couldn't change to launcher pro. But overall thank you for helping!! Oh, and of course i hit the thanks button for ya.

Install Instructions​please readcarefully​
If your currenty using a custom rom before installing this rom I suggest that you flash the stock rom using "Odin" or restore your nandroid backup..oh use xxlf5 fimware for this..
Do a full wipe.. wipe data.. wipe cache.. wipe dalvik cache.. you know these..
now you should use CWM to flash it .. i suggest you use vm00's heres the link to his thread.. i hope you know how to install zip using CWM.. hehe
Wait for it to finish installation.. then reboot.."first boot may take up to 10mins so just wait "
And thats it! Enjoy your experience with CD-ROM!

known bugs..
on the power menu.. reboot to download mode dosnt work.. it will only reboot.. and reboot option there also dosnt work for now it will only shut the phone off but not fully shut down..
thats it.. only that is known bug..
So just use the download option there to reboot whats important is hot reboot works..hehe
One last thing incase your status bar gets stuck.. just open settings then choose rom mods tab.. then choose dev tools.. then click on media scanner.. thats it

Hi. Dont work for me.
Block in boot. Black screen for 30 minutes.
Try 2 install. Always same and yes for future question i have wipe all that can done. Battery wipe too
