I want to hide the notification bar in the lockscreen... im using launcher pro with the bar hidden and it looks very nice to me. Im also thinking of buying widgetlocker so i can use the same widgets on the lockscreen but need to get rid of the notification bar. Is this possible. Also im using cm rc3

I could have sworn that it used to be, but mine has been back the last few weeks of nightly builds and I can't find any setting to disable it.

Hey I own a Nexus One.. I love my phone... I like how Samsung took the empty space on the bar and used it in a clever way by add the Wifi, Bluetooth controls there. I was wondering if there was a way to port the notification bar or add the wifi, bluetooth controls embedded in the Notification bar, without change our room and kernel
No, there isn't.
And there are zillions of older and newer ROMs that have this particular modification.
There are apps that add the controls to the notification pull down menu. Can't remember the names on top of my head.
CyanogenMod rom has this option.

Does it work like the CM7 toggles? In the market page says it puts shortcuts, not toggles
Thanks for the tip, but.. bar control force closes on the 4G. I guess we have to wait for a custom ROM as all the other bar notification programs do not toggle 4G and some won't toggle wifi either.

Try and choose a different shortcut path , I am on the NS4G and it works. scroll through all of the avail. paths and get there a different way. Mine FC also initially
Thanks, what path did you use for 4G toggle?

This is only a little workaround until we get the true notification toggles. This is not a toggle -- it's just a shortcut to the 4G settings screen. But still way easier.
When you load bar control, I'm pretty sure you choose that first 4G icon (with no icon). Selecting that puts it in your notification bar (second screen shot). Then, selecting it from your notification bar should bring you to the 3rd screen shot.
I'm still workin on a theme there.. so colors a little funky
Almost there.

Notification toggle in the market is almost perfect except when you press the toggle it brings up a pop-up to confirm the action. Other than that it great and customizable.
Patiently wait

Hello, I upgraded to JB from ICS. When I roll down status bar all the widgets (wifi / BT / silent switch / ...) are missong. Is there a change to get them back?
Pull down toggles have never been implemented in the stock software. There are mods to add them, you'll have to look through the forums to find it. There's also an app called Power Control Plus that you can buy from the play store that gives you the ability to modify what is shown.
