music players with large widgets - Thunderbolt Themes and Apps

hey guys i'd like to know what music players you guys are using that have large widgets. so far i've found mixzing and poweramp. both of the players are ok...once i choose one i'll support them by purchasing one or the other. i was wondering if there were any great players that i have not come across.

Winamp has a 4x2 widget, but I like the fact that it has a full screen lock screen when it is playing.

Winamp does have a nice widget but the real selling point for me is its wireless sync, which unlike double twist, is built in and free

I use poweramp. It has a few different widgets including a 4x4 size. You can also choose from about 5 themes for the widgets from within the app.

I agree that the winamp lockscreen is nice, but my vote would be for poweramp.

I use winamp, haven't tried poweramp. It has a 4x1 and a 4x2.

+1 on poweramp been using it for months def worth the purchase

What apps do you use to impress your non-xooming friends?

I use google maps (the way it zooms in on your location), the music app (that sound came out of that little thing?), and vendetta online.
What do you think?

I have never had to impress others with my Xoom but what I love the most is the Honeycomb UI. Having this cool 3D transition between screens, lots of widgets and customization... Google maps is sweet and one of the reasons I bought the Xoom. There is one app called cubed which is an amazing music player. You should d/l it and show it to peeps!
i connect my xoom to the tv and give everyone a wii remote n we all aply mario kart
Widgets are what I like the most, I cant stand looking at rows after rows of apps

Hd widgets

Just download a great, completely customizable weather, clock, settings widget. It's only 99 cents on the market right now. Perfect for my ever changing homescreen. So many themes. Give it a look. I added a couple of pics to show some of the colors and sizes.

I assume you're the developer. I could be wrong. I like the appearance of the widgets, are there anything more than the weather/clock widgets?
Thanks
Bought it. It's awesome. The widgets looks very elegant on my xoom's screen. The variety of widget sizes and looks make this one a great buy!
I was lucky enough to beta test this widget and it was a pleasure watching the developers upgrade and fix it over several months. They are quick to resolve issues and I purchased it as soon as it became available on market.
Edit: @ Saintfyre, the main 8x2 widget allows the forcast on right to be switched with a control panel similar to a power control widget. Things like BT, screen rotation, wifi can all be turned on/off. Beyond that, theyre just weather and clock. Its a replacement for Beautiful widgets.
@OP. What is the Theme you are using? And what is the small up arrow in the center of your notification bar?
First app I bought without much research, saw one review and small review at that in a blog, very happy I bought it, very nice widgets.
I decided to pick it up and was beating my head against the wall because I couldn't get the widgets to appear in the Xoom widget menu after long-pressing. Simple reboot takes care of it, for those who scratch their head like I did after configuring one and trying to find out how to place it. I like what I see so far. Thanks devs!

I believe he's either using a Galaxy Tab 10.1 or has found a way to run TouchWiz UX on a Xoom. Probably the first one. The arrow would be the shortcut TW has for the mini apps.

Sorry not the developer, just letting people know about the widget that I liked.
Yes, not a theme, I use a galaxy tab 10.1 now, but old habits like this forum die hard.

In your 3rd pic on the top you are using something that has large buttons as folders. What program does that?
Ok, while you're at it, where did you get that wicked Star Trek wallpaper? /drool
The folders are two apps. Desktop visualizer is a free app that lets you take almost any small picture and use it for a launcher button of any app or bookmark. Then you can resize it to whatever dimensions you want. I have that widget working with the app called folder organizer lite. You can put all your apps into different folders. Apply your own icon and resize away. It saves alot of screen area so you don't have 100 apps taking up real estate. I can post some pics if you want to see what it looks like. Both apps are free in the market.
And here is the uss enterprise wallpaper. But you have to use the multipicture live wallpaper (free) in order to get it to display correctly. Honeycomb crops the sh!# out of it.

Under the HD Widgets settings you can add and remove different sizes.
Won't update units from F to C. :crying:
But other than not knowing what 50 degrees F is, the app is awesome.
Edit: rebooted and now it works a charm. A+++

What album art widget is with the tape in two upper corners of the album art?
Sent from my thanks button
TinyPlayer is a nice music app, I think a lot of people don't know about it.
it's free in the market, I've been using it a long time and I like it
Biggest thing I like about it is that it is directory and filename oriented, so I can know what the song and artist are by the file name of the mp3, rather than having to edit the tags and then find album art because all these music apps seem to want to show the album art, and there are always a bunch of tracks with no album art so you get some crappy default image. Tiny Players widgets and UI dont show album art.
I like Tiny Player because it is simple, yet does exactly what I need it to do
ttPod is da besT!!!!!!!!

I found MIUI player to do the trick for me. You can search for a ported one in xda.
You can edit file information from inside it. It also downloads album art and in-sync lyrics automatically.
Dont forget to press thanks if I helped yo. Cheers

[Q] Apex Launcher - Widget that works with Walkman Player

Hey guys,
Quick Q. Installed Apex Launcher for something different, but now I can't use the standard Walkman Player widget obviously. Is there another widget that integrates with Walkman? I would rather not have to use another music player. Is there an .apk I could use somewhere to be able to use the widget without Xperia Launcher?
Dave
I know it's not a solution to your problem but poweramp is by far the best music player and the widgets are awesome it's worth a try.

Yeah I know I know
I always like to try to keep using the standard apps on my phone, such as HTC and now Sony just to get that different feeling between phones, using QuickPic on both feels like I haven't upgraded.
Maybe I should just go back to poweramp... haha

Updated to arhd 31 4.3 based Rom but now missing music lockscreen?

As says in title I really liked this option was good to swipe to change songs etc. Just wondering where lockscreen widgets have gone thanks

They removed all the different lockscreens. You can still swipe to right screen to add widgets
Using Google music the controls still show up, you just have to be listening to music before you turn screen off. There's even a little circle around the pause button that shows the track progress (unless that's my ROM, but I don't think so)

I just liked having my folders in music app as album art not a boring list and swiping song art on now playing to skip track
