I noticed on one of the developer threads, which incidentally would not let me post, a font called "accidental presidency," which was allegedly obtained thru Font Installer downloaded from the Market.
Problem is when you search for Font Installer about 200 choices come up.
Would it have been Root System Font Installer? Would anyone know? The guy didn't mention it costing 0.99 but I figured that might be it.

Has anyone figured out how to get the AC4 Companion app to work on the TouchPad running Android 4.4 with the 3.4 kernel?
I just learned about the app myself, and have never had it on a "droided" Touchpad, but was definitely interested in trying to get this to work.
I've been following some of the various posts on the web that the app only works with a limited number of devices. The app can't be found on the PlayStore directly with the TouchPad. You have to go to other forums to find the APK and OBB files to install. I've tried most of the workarounds to know avail.
Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ubisoft.assassin.blackflag
My overall challenge is that the program attempts to start, and then given an error that it appears "you did not purchase the app from the Play Store".
Workaround 1: Setting DPI to 200
I have tried this within the build.prop file directly, as well as installing Xposed Framework and tieing the apk to kick off with a default DPI of 200. No joy
Workaround 2: Tweaking Heapsize values in build.prop file
The workaround calls for these two values:
* dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit=64m
* dalvik.vm.heapsize=256m
Again, no joy.
Here's the site where I've been getting my hands on the APK and OBB files for the install:
http://wiiare.in/12141-assassins-creed-4-companion-app-fur-androidios/
(PS - I don't read German, so the rest of the page may have more details, but it's totally unreadable to me.)
I've checked several other forums, but have found new good solution to get this working specifically on the TouchPad.
Any thoughts or ideas out there?

I've done it on a JC Sullins ROM (which i think is Android 4.2.2) but I basically had to be sneaky about it, download it from a site other than the Play Store, copy a large file of data and then run the APK. Took a couple tries but it worked fine eventually. I don't feel bad about it as it is a free app, but as you say, it won't appear on the Play Store through the Touchpad. Looks like they are allowing app devs to narrow the range of devices their app will be available to install on which really sucks if you ask me.
Edit: oh gee, your link had the instructions and I didn't know, so I didn't have to explain it.
Hi. I have a paid theme for launchers in the Play Store. Customers more often asking to add new colors. Unfortunately change the theme colors programmatically by user request is impossible - almost all graphics need to be changed. In other words make the same themes, but in other colors. I do not want to sell the same thing, just in other colors - it would not be fair. Also I do not want to make them free, because it still the same themes just in other colors. So here's the question. Is it safe for developer account to add the direct links for apk downloading in main activity? Or maybe it will be apk inside apk... Of course, the user will see what he download and install, and all of this will be with user confirmation and without any malware. So it's safe to add direct download links or apk inside apk?
I would be infinitely grateful for your answers!
P.S. Sorry for my english.
You can turn your paid application into theme manager which would download your themes
XDA-Developers loves fonts; just do a quick search for the term "FlipFont" or "Font" and you will find tons of threads. In 2011, I found one of these threads and it inspired me to develop an app that made installing a font to your system a one-click action. For years, it was the top app in Google Play for installing fonts. I recently updated the app and I wanted to post it here.
Through the FontFix application, installed on a supported or rooted device, you can easily connect to an online selection of thousands of free fonts and then choose, download, and install your font of choice.
To learn more about FontFix, visit the app's landing page: http://fontfix.jrummyapps.com/
All fonts in the app are free for personal use and the vast majority are free for commercial use. You can find the repo of all the fonts in the app here.
Hey this app is great but what font do I have to replace to change the type under the icons in the google now launcher?
Used it previously .. did a fresh wipe and install and now I keep getting . error when its trying to load up apps in the apk.
Any info on how to resolve ?
Hi,
I am not able to locate Roboto Light in the list. If I want to add my own, do I have to manually add all 18 ttf files from a zip file I found?
Thanks,
Kyle

I see many moduls for emojis. From iOS to Facebook and Twitter but none from Samsung. Does it exists? Can someone make one?
OK so i found a way. There is an app in the store called zFont. You cand chose a smiley pack and create a Magisk module ans simply install it that way.
Hello and welcome!
I have a request for help. Is there any way to change the font on the Samsung Galaxy TAB S8 + to your chosen one, e.g. from the internal memory?
Samsung offers a few free fonts in its store and all the rest, not many nice paid fonts and it's quite high / expensive. The company is greedy and I'm not going to pay for something as trivial as a font; - / I have a no-ROOT device. Android 12.
* sorry for english - google translate to use.

I do not. Hopefully, someone else does.
This application from playstore doesn't require root.
zFont 3 - Emoji & Font Changer - Apps on Google Play
ā
Font changer for Samsung, Vivo, LG, Huawei, Honor, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, etc.š
play.google.com
It has detailed instructions how tricking Samsung device into installing a custom font works.
I tested it, no root, it works.
With Samsung Internet you can also change all websites in Samsung Internet Labs settings.
After downloading a font from a preview you backup with Samsung, then uninstall Samsung original custom font, then restore backup, install non Samsung custom font, done.
It's a trick.
Yesterday I was able to unravel the question. The answer was on YT. I put a link. Everything works great. I was able to change the font to my chosen one
