i have CM7 installed on my optimus 2x few days ago. then i need to sync my data back to my optimus 2x but i've tried few many times, and the result still.. i never success to do the sync with LG PC suite. is there anyone can help me with it?
or maybe i should install back the official firmware? but i don't know how to do it? Please somebody help me to resolve the problem.. i'm quite frustated..

You can't use LG PC - suite on cm7.

So it is normal if i have cm7 on my p990 & i can't sync mine with LG Pc-suite?
I believe there are some apps in the market that will do the job. Haven't tried any myself though.

I can recomend myphoneexplorer. You need a client app on the phone and the myphoneexplorer software on the pc. Don't know if it really works with cm but i think so.

Hi, got my 2X , innstalled clockwork recovery and Fr8 / Fr9 preview MoDaCo Custom ROM. Now i cant restore my sms treads, using handcent online services.
I can see my backups but when i try too restore nothing happening, anyone else with this problem?

Hi guys! can anyone tell me where I can find stock LG 2X 2.3 mms.apk? I searched all over the forum but I found only the Froyo version.
Could this be achieved by downloading a Gingerbread ROM from the Dev section and simply opening the .zip folder and removing the .apk from the ROM package?
Iv looked in this location before for other apps but never taken any files out so not sure if this will work this easily??
I‘ll try as soon as possible, can I rely on your help here?

No, I dont know if this method works as I have never attempted this before.
I also havent seen it mentioned anyone on here that, that method is possible. To be honest though, as long as youve made a backup through CWM then if anything goes wrong just restore the backup. Also if its only an .apk file and he fails to installed the phone will stop the process so nothing will happen.
What i have just said are only thoughts which havent been tried or tested.

My lg optimus 2x freezes when i use 2G network? It's freezes or rebooting, sometimes i need reflash rom or use backup, this problem broke my system, when it's running on orginal rom or some of v20 rom edition's.
And the 2nd problem is that what i cant use last 15-20% battery power its freezes. This isue is on all rom's...
It's device h/w problem or software problem?

Tried to change the Baseband and RIL combination....it is one of the major reasons...
CM 7 is best in BB218 and RIL combo...(some have good results in BB823 too)RIL should be only Froyo versions and not GB.
Go to android market, install the application called GetRIL.
Select the most suitable ril and flash. It should help with the signal!

No, no, what you need to do is to select RIL corresponding to your Base Band so the bst course of action is to install "recommended" one or one of equivalents. Please note that sometimes even equivalents may make problems - I had to install a few of them until I matched the one that worked the best.

Never had any problems and just used recommended RILS.

Ok, maybe its works, but i have been change everything, no change, its freezes on call on 2G internet and when the battery had 15-20% its freezes, i think its hardware problem

I had my PC gone for some serious repairs and was using my Dad's lappy for i think last 2 months...
When i had LG Rom, i used to have that mount SD card option and it worked well, but as i went on to CM7(temasek), i never got to test it...
4 days back my daddy's lappy failed to mount the SD and int. Mem...i thought it to be driver issue with lappy and used my card reader..
Today while using my own new PC, i saw that problem is with optimus and not in computers,
TETHERING WORKS PERFECTLY BUT MOUNTING DOESNT
Please help someone...
In phone, SD appears to be mounted on PC, but actually it doesn't shows up...

been there :/ you must have refreshed installation of your windows, i flashed the original lg rom to fix the issue and reflashed the rom i was using, dosent make sense but it works
I tried 3 PC's one having fresh windows and others have old one ...
Tried mounting in recovery but no luck...

Yup, cyanogenmod and usb storage don't get along very well. I had trouble with this since the days of my good old LG GT540 (Swift). My answer was the same as yours... a card reader. It's not very nice but then again I don't need to plug my phone into my PC very often.
Maybe this will be fixed in ICS?
By the way, i thought that USB storage mode is universal ??

I think with stock you don't need drivers Like I said previously, that's the only "downfall" for custom ROM's in my opinion... that storage option is completely broken.

Hello I do not want make new topic so I will ask here.
I am on nova ics cm9 and after mounting Phone with USB cable I can not transfer any files cause PC don't See USB storage and asking for some drivers.
Any solution to solve this out or i have to use WiFi transfer?

Got a rooted LG optimistic 2x (p990).
Until recently, I were using the MIUI Tom, and it worked fine
But then I tried out CyanogenMod 7, and now I really need the help of a pro!
When I go on android market. It exits right away, the Tom manager is old, so it wont let me download Tom's without updating. But since I don't have android market I can't download a newer version. Installing from SD card doesn't work.
But that's the easy part. My backup ROM is gone for some reason!
And I cant install other ROMs. It. Just gives me a white triangle with an exclamation mark.
The boot menu wont appear either! (Volume down + power). It just boots normally.
I'm in deep **** here! I want MIUI back. PLEASE HELP!
So it seems you have lg pesimistic 2X. the best for you would be nvflash stock rom, root it install rom manager flash clockwork recovery and then miui rom.

(I can't install ROMs, remember?) what is 'nvflash'?
Nvflash uses direct access to hynix flash chip used in p990. It will total restore your phone. Homero made nvflash rom here so thank him if it will help you. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1715272
