Is there any other way to access this screen. I'd really like a shortcut to it since I am switching back and forth from Edge to 3g twice a day.
Use a different ROM. CM6 has that feature on one click.
Even with the stock ROM you can toggle 2/3G, but it's not a nice handy widget like in CM6. You'll find it in settings, under Settings -> Wirless & Networks -> Mobile Network -> Use Only 2G Networks
With CM6 you can add an item to the power control widget to toggle 2/3G. Win!
Time to kick an old thread. The *#*#4636#*#* app and the 2G/3G toggle can be added as a shortcut with AnyCut.
Just launch AnyCut and hit "Activity."
The *#*#4636#*#* screen is called "Testing," and the 2G/3G screen is one tap away with a shortcut to the AnyCut activity "GSM/UMTS options."
Where is the setting that controls the option of whether to auto minimize the bar or not when the wifi is toggled in the notification bar?
settings>CynogenMod settings>Interface>Notification power wiget

Do you know if it is possible to put a widget on the AOD screen?

It's a data saver icon. You can enable/disable it from "Dual SIM & Cellular Network" from settings.
