done with V1.0.0
This program is ONLY APPLICATION and its NOT a DRIVER software, it worked good and compatible with my HTC Shift with the resolutions 800x480 and 1024x600.
how to ..
1- Download the attached zip file.
2- extract and run but DONT CHANGE self extractor directory, just unzip it to the default directory ( C:\htc ).
3- Go to C:\htc\BAT and then Run (HTC Shift Controller.exe).
Thx for your work! Tested and it works.
Thanks, great work! Will make it simpler to install XP. I still use the old method with the script and shortcuts, but will try it soon.
Prefect,Excellent!!!!!
Thank you so much for your time!!!! I can wait to see it,on my BEAST!!!

hi all, thx in advance for ur help.
i am a newbe in this HTC thing. i'd like to watch full movies on my wizard eg in avi format but i have problem with tcmpm player. which file shell i download and instal onto my device. can anyone give my step by step tips. cheers, matt
http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/download
Click on Windows Mobile Version, Latest version 0.71 -
http://corecodec.org/frs/?group_id=53&release_id=224#r224
Download tcpmp.setup.0.71.exe - http://corecodec.org/frs/download.php/369/tcpmp.setup.0.71.exe
With your Wizard connected via USB/ActiveSync, run the .exe on your PC
The installer will install TCPMP on your Wizard.
Or, download tcpmp.arm.cabs.0.71.zip http://corecodec.org/frs/download.php/366/tcpmp.arm.cabs.0.71.zip , copy the file to somewhere on your Wizard using ActiveSync's "Browse" function (e.g. copy to you Documents on the Wizard). Then, using the Wizard's File Explorer, browse to the arm.cabs file on the Wizard & click on it to run it.
Which file do you need for Windows Mobile?
There are five files in each release.
tcpmp.setup.[version].exe - Desktop installer for PocketPC or HPC devices. It should be launched on the PC when the PDA is connected via ActiveSync.
tcpmp.smartphone.[version].exe - Desktop installer for Smartphone devices. It should be launched on the PC when the phone is connected via ActiveSync.
tcpmp.arm.cabs.[version].zip - Standalone .cab installer files if don't want to use a PC for installing. Check readme.txt for details in the archive.
tcpmp.mips.cabs.[version].zip - For older MIPS devices
tcpmp.sh3.cabs.[version].zip - For older SH3 devices

Hidden? Check folder options on you're computer.
Sorry I should've put that in my initial post. I have the folder options set to show hidden/system files.

You're running Vista? Windows shows it by default. Vista doesn't.
Anyway, you have to disable option Hide Windows System Files and Folders in folder options.

again with working download links
dear tony
i heave read your page i'am currently ussing windows mobile 2003 se i downloaded your files they workt perfect the only problem i face a.t.m is i can run the repart_doc but i can not run the setup dll or any of the other files any idea how that comes?
thx for reading
greetings
michael
what setup dll would that be?
all you need is the cab and the exe. don't bother doing anything else with your device, after upgrading, everything will be gone anyways.
well what i did was i downloaded the files and when i extract the unlucker cab zip file i get some files i have put them onto my phone but my tell cant read them
thx for reading
michael
a cab file is an installer for the device. you don't unpack that, but simply copy it to the device and click it in file explorer. that will install the contained program, in this case the unlocker. kinda like a setup.exe or .msi file on the pc
dear tony
Thx for your help so far i unocked the ext.rom from my mobile now i was reading the wike for my sellphone and all went wel untill i got here:
Go into the start menu and type "Device Manager" then run, this will take you into the device manager.
Click the "+" symbol next to "Mobile Devices" and double click on "HTC USB Sync".
This will bring up the properties of the currently connected device.
Go to the "Driver" tab and click "Update Driver".
Click "Browse My Computer for Driver Software".
Select "Let me pick from a list...."
Click the "Have Disk" button.
Click "Browse" and navigate to the AS_DRIVERS folder we created earlier.
Now select your file
Vista 32bit users select the file "wceusbsh.inf"
Vista 64bit users select the file "wceusbshx64.inf"
Then click Open.
Click next and the driver will be installed (wait a moment).
Press close and escape back to the desktop now.
When i'am tryinf to update it just says it did not fond any drivers in As_driver
do you maby know why? i'am using windows vista
thx for reading
michael
unfortunately, i have never managed to flash on windows vista/7, but d-two has released a tutorial for that, that differs from the wiki instructions and seems to work for some people. you can find it in his new rom thread. alternatively, use a windows xp pc and my tutorial. it is way easier and guaranteed to work:

Probably yes, Not sure though.
Set your phone to Airplane mode and connect it to Zune on your PC.
You can download either off zune or the phone .

Hi all !
For all devices unlocked with ChevronWP7 Unlocker , we’re can easy install custom ringtones or applications .XAP format via Application Deployment , but everytimes need open start menu –> Application Deployment then browser .xap to tool for install take too much times and almost make some in us crazy
That why i decided to write Tom XAP installer , basicly Tom XAP installer and Application Deployment are the same ( Alow install custom .xap to device and emulator windows phone 7 ) But Tom XAP installer a lot convenience , it’s alow you install .xap with double click to file or simple just right click –> install xap
How to :
Download exe and put it somewhere in PC, run it , it will automatic add registry path of application and add menu , icon to .XAP files.
go to this link for download

So it's not made for WP7 man, you have to make sure it's mentioned before download.
all applications related to wp7 is .xap, and not .cab!!!!
but if you are sure that this is a game for wp7 and it's not a .cab file
try the following:
change the extension of the file to .xap,or if it's a several files so open a .xap file of what ever.
open it with winrar, and empty the xap file from its' continent and add your files of the game in it. rename the new xap file with the game name!!!!

Ok so all who have WP7 on their HD2's and having PC with Windows XP have this problem : "wtf man, how do i deploy/install .xap's on my HD2 ?"
Well i have the answer, we all have met the problem with the SDK Developer Tools installation (it was shtting about "ya need vista or 7 bla bla bla")
So after a really hard search (spended 1 minute) i found the answer !
I found this at http://www.redfrogfish.com/483/how-to-install-windows-phone-7-developer-tools-on-windows-xp/
All credits go to that guy!!!!
Ok, so if ur afraid to go to that site i will now copypaste the tut
Download the Windows Phone Developer Tools RTW from Microsoft Download Center
Extract the downloaded package by running vm_web.exe /x
Go to the folder of the extracted package & open the file baseline.dat in any text editor
Look for the ‘gencomp7788’ section and change this two entries from 1 to 0:
InstallOnLHS=0
InstallOnWinXP=0
Save the file baseline.dat
Run setup.exe /web
i extracted the .exe with WinRaR and then opened the baseline.dat with Notepad
Finally, made a shortcut to "setup" file and the "Prpoerties" on shortcut and in the end u add that " /web" thing. Run the shortcut and it should all work and dl the stuff.
Again, i won't visit this post so it's better to find a solution by urself
coul some body explain better this please?
I had problems installing SDK and running Tom XAP installer until now. Basically, I had the WPSDK installed, .NET 4.0, Tom Xap Installer and it worked just fine on my XP Pro.
