I might start out making one like this for Vanilla/GingerBean. It should be easy to port from vanilla bean to tesla coil....Hopefully lol.

it might sound a little weird but there is no way I will use the rom without the pure gingerbread theme and this is the complaint: the bright green battery indicator on the gingerbread theme stands out like a sore thumb and I am the kind of person who likes everything neat.
EDIT: Totally just realized this was changed since I last checked! flashing now!

no it wont, I can work on that but what I'm uplaoding right now just removes transitions and my blue icons

lol oh god...ahh ya maybe but not today...its coded into one of the jar files and i'll have to go back thru everything to find it....i did send a couple emails out today about some other things involving the mod ... as soon as I get a response it may very well lead me to the right place for that very thing

You can also flash the buttonized version on a rooted stock Inc. I have been running it for about 3 days and no issues so far.

I'm gonna start trying my hand in porting, i just dont know which theme to start with.
I was thinking about White Chrome from the i9000 forums, but i dont even know if its compatible.

My advice would be to download an existing fascinate theme/framework and compare it to the theme you like and want to port...galaxy s themes are pretty close to ours (well gingerbread rom themes are a tad more difficult with systemui.apk) so just look through the drawable-hdpi folders and see what's different

well i know im making it compatible, i had just heard there was something with TW roms vs aosp and stuff, and if i ported an aosp theme for a tw rom, i thought things might go bad.

ok, i've been playing around with existing files a little bit and i think i can get it. i have nitro honeycomb that i will kind of be using as my anchor.

i would recommend using sbrissens 6 lock mods as a base or stock frameworks from roms...when working with already themed frameworks ur carrying over their xml edits/image/framework changes too
and always remember to credit
yeah haha I read your ettiqute (sp) in your guide. so if I download sbrissens mods, and there will be modded frameworks in there and I can just put the image files that I am porting into that framework?

yup, images are a good place to start
Its not so bad...
The best way to pick something to work on is find one that YOU like. Then all the aggravation can be worth it if its something you will want to personally use.

Dark Edge UI is an awesome theme. Its for AOSP unfourunately, and I'm not sure if it's ever been ported to the Galaxy S family.

I would love to add this to a theme.
I have tried to make this work myself by following the instructions in the linked thread, but I couldnt get it to work on our phone. Maybe someone more talented than I can get it going(nitsuj17)(sbrissen). Sorry to hear that. I think some of the animations would get pretty sweet. After we had the chance to swap out the files for our own taste or to match whatever theme you are working on.Obviously I wouldnt want the same animation from the video but customizing it the way we want peaks my intrest.......thanks for replying.

Exactly my point, technically I guess you could even use live wallpaper files and themers could create their own custom animations..
As far as battery life, according to the creator its not a battery drain and doesnt consume resources unless you engage the drop down menu....

Nice work! I'm running Crysis, and am myself am trying to come up with some animations that would look sweet with that. Tough one.
I hope at somepoint this leads to pull down widgets... Like sports scores, weather, news or whatever...... But simple animations is a good start and I realize widgets would be a leap but who knows....
I still dont understand what I was doing wrong. Did exactly what the original modder instructed... Aaaaaaa, oh well. Ill try again when I get to my desk top. My laptop died.......

I have two weeks off work coming up and was gonna try my hand at porting a theme to BO 2.0. I was planning on porting high limit's cyan theme, but figured I'd ask other people if they had a particular theme they'd like ported. If another theme gets enough votes I'll port that instead i can also mix and match different elements of different themes if people want a specific icon or such. Let me know.

From your screen name I'm assuming you're looking for the same green and purple as your avatar depending on how long it takes me to port the cyan theme, I'll also try to port the purple haze theme, but add that same green where appropriate I'll try to have something up by the 24th, but I'll let you know if my lack of knowledge will prevent that i probably wont be able to start until the 21st due to work/school, but I'll keep you posted.

My car was broken into last night and someone stole my phone, and some other stuff, but anyway, I have no test phone and having minimal experience with theming, I wouldn't want to start without being able to flash multiple times throughout the process to see if I'm even getting somewhere. Cm9? I just upgraded to a Samsung gs3. I'm about to flash cm10 jelly bean ftw! My lil bro just found a revo online for cheap so I may steal his and theme a bit when I get a chance. I really do love the community here for the revo and would love to still help out when I have the time.
