I appreciated any help.

Did you flash it with a ROM or it's still on stock? If you did try flashing a modem...

Stock ROM's dont have problems as they are released only after lots and lots of test. Most probably there is no problem with the Stock ROM.

What ROM? Try to flash your kernel from another ROM.
Sorry that I up this thread, but I can say I have the exact same problem but with Gingerbread 2.3.4.
My phone is only rooted. No mods or so, a few apps that need root access, that's all. But it had this issue from the beginning, even without root or any non-stock app.
It seems like when I either turn on Wifi or Bluetooth and turn it off and on again in a very short time, it can't be used anymore until I reboot the phone. Waiting more than 10 seconds before turning Wifi/bluetooth on after it was set off doesn't give this issue. Then it only happens one or two times in a week.
When I have my new phone completely in shape I'll start some testing with the Galaxy Mini to see how to get rid of this issue.
Happens the same here. And this problem sucks!
Hi, today i install cm10.1 on my galaxy s. I don't made backup efs and i lost my IMEI :C
What I must/can doing ?
Can I live with this ?
I had this problem before. Someone said that if this happens. Than You'll need to flash a modem.
Check your Baseband first

Been covered many times. It usually happens when you skip a version of android.
Flash back to stock via Odin and upgrade Android in order.. froyo-GB-ICS-JB for example.
No imei will mean no network connection.... Usually.

*EDIT* i successfully fixed my phone, the problem has now been resolved, thank you for those who responded and sorry for those who thought they wasted their time
I have a white Galaxy Ace, and tried doing the usual (installing better software=cyanogen) but because I'm not the brightest bulb in the packet i somehow FUBAR'd the phone, so trying to do anything through the menu when you use the buttons to choose options (the part where you can format and do other stuff) will NOT work, and the phone freezes at the screen showing the phone model version, if anyone has any idea on how to fix it without paying le moneys, id be much appreciative
Thanks to whoever answers
Flash stock via odin. Use search to know how to do this. There are like a million guides for it.
