Edit #1:
- Add alternate sound in ancient speech
NOTE : THIS HAS BEEN TESTED ON MOTOROLA ATRIX ONLY. PLEASE TELL ME IF THE RESOLUTION WORKS ON YOUR PHONE. IF NOT, I WILL MAKE ANOTHER ONE THAT FITS
Kool stuff.
Audio didn't work for me
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA Premium App
Unfortunately some phones doesn't have the bootup sound capability
I've added an alternate sound in ancient speech by the way
This resolution (540x960) does not fit my screen. Please make another bootanimation with 320x480 resolution. Is there any way to speed up the animation? It runs very slowly on my Droid Eris. Thanks!
320x480 resolution added and I've lowered the quality for this res. Hope it helps

Excellent!! Thank you!
This is F'in Awesome. Gonna see if it will work on hd2 running cm7. I love lord of the rings and wish there was a theme. If not I am definately using the sound files. Thanks.
Edit: can you make resolution 800x480 for HD2? Thanks again!
Can you try and apply it first and see if the resolution fit your screen? 480x800 shouldn't be a problem i think.
Yeah I absolutely love lord of the rings and couldn't find any bootanimation whatsoever. So decided to create one myself
Running time too short
Hello,
this is the best boot animation for a long time. D Greet!
It works on my HTC but ....: the running time is too short. My machine is very lame. Mad: What can I do? 480x800 would be great, but it works.
sorry for my poor english: rolleyes:
You mean the animation is slow and laggy for you? Nothing much you can do i'm afraid
I thought this is a pretty cool bootanimation too surprised its not a hit
Cant seem to get this to work on Desire
Works like a champ on my Motorola dext.Thks
Tested on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (T-Mobile edition, rooted, TWRP recovery) and the sound will work when replacing "PowerOn.ogg" and changing to RW-R-R. The animation doesn't yet because of Samsung's new TW bs. Will keep trying some work arounds and/or a rom when that hits (seeing as Korea already has one haha)

Explorer to /windows. Overwrite your current animation.

It would be great if you could write a small post about how you like

Since you wrote "All Res", it would be nice if you released a WQVGA version of these files too.

Yeah, but I don't think "I hate WP" would look that good on a WP powered phone
Wonderful job! I'm using "Metal" on my Touch Pro 2.
Any chance for a 320x320 screen (i780)?
I can't find anything hidden in /windows folder called "animated".gif or anything like that in HTC HD mini (HVGA)...
I currenly have removed the HTC logo through BsB Tweaks. Is this the problem?
now make it for android.

Hello guys this is my third Bootanimation for Android Phones, hope you guys like it.
Download:
MegaUpload: Download 480x800
MegaUpload: Download 320x480
MegaUpload: Download 480x800 [Dark Background, Rotating animation only]
Installation:
1. Copy bootanimation.zip to the root of your SD Card
2. Move it to /data/local/ or /system/media/ and replace existing one using root explorer.
Reboot and Enjoy!
If animation is to fast or if you need it to work on your phone, open attached desc.txt file and just modify the the resolution values based on your device screen size (high end devices 480×800 (width x height). Example: if the speed is 12, your txt file should look like this in the first line:
480 800 12 <<< Decrease Speed to 10 or Increase to 14
If you guys like my work don't forget to say thanks on this post.
This would look awesome with a black background and just the the icon circling in the middle like it's doing.

Hey Guys!
I ported the Android bios to our little Vodafone 845!
Now there is the right RAM-size, right screen resolution and so on!
ATTENTION: Its QVGA, so it may work on other QVGA devices! But I think it wont work on higher screen resolutions. And if it does, it will look ugly!
For other devices head over to original Thread!

I don't know
I just ported it... and it's just for qvga...
What ever, I'm proud
Nice to see this on XDA front page. The Vodafone 845 is getting the attention it has well-earned!
Anyway, looks funny!
did not work on galaxy tab
and with android 2.2, 2.3?
Can this BIOS be used with AnrylCM6.2 (froyo, kernel 2.6.29) or with AnrylCM7 (gingerbread, kernel 2.6.32)?
I think if it uses the same bootanimation path it should work.
This one will install into system\media\.
Take a look with an explorer if the bootanimation is there. If it is, it should work!
Troid
I like it allot! I also took your idea and changed somethings to what i like. Im a Fan Of Anonymous. so i made some changes. But i cant get it to work on my phone.
When i try and look/edit with Absolute systems, it shows it not having FPS, Or dimensions and no parts. And i did include a desc.txt along with part0 (Which from other bootanimations, doesnt have to be called part0) in a non compressed Zip file.
And it wont let me show preview since im new. haha. Photobucket / Buddhabbuddhism..

My friend, @Xicor Yagami , showed me the leaked photos of the Nexus 7 2nd version a few hours ago and like him, I also liked the wallpaper very much.

Although I do not know whether its a Simple Wallpaper or a Live Wallpaper, I decided to make a simple one and kind of cloned the wallpaper.
I made it in several sizes. So you can download the one matching your device the closest.
1920x1280 px
720x1280 px
720x320 px
640x480 px
240x320 px
Enjoy!
Here's the Photoshop template in case anyone wants to play around with this, make any other sizes, work on this more or whatever you wish, you can do with this.
Download here.
cool idea!
@EatHeat these are fantastic although I expect the shadows on the left and right in the original screenshot are because of the fact the android launcher applies a shadow to the wallpaper rather than a shadow being part of the wallpaper image itself... If that makes any sense whatsoever :silly: anyway I'm just nitpicking, thanks for these
sorry for cutting in like that, just want to share my versions

They a re all look good! But can somebody make a version in 720x1280 resolution for my 4x?

Hello All, I present three beautiful Bootanimations to appreciate @minealex2244's work, especially for his awesome Kernel ALDEON that we all love so much. I came across a video on youtube and I liked it so much that I decided to use that. So, these animations are for those of us who use Aldeon Kernel..other can use it too..

DISCLAIMER:I NEITHER OWN the base Graphic Animation NOR the Video, but I took a lot of pain to Extract every frame, interpolate them, invert, edit and finally create these bootanimations.
These are tested on G920I, should work on others as well.
XDA App users may not see the animated GIFs, use Tapatalk instead.

Installation
1. Download your preferred Bootanimation and extract the files.
2. Backup your existing bootanimation from system/media/.
3. Copy the new files to the above path and change permission to 644
4. Now open your build.prop and find "boot.fps" and change its value to 60.
4. Reboot and Enjoy!
Click to collapse
Note: I wanted them to be super smooth, hence I had to interpolate the frames to double the framerate. Inorder to make use of the additional frames please ensure that you change the BOOT.FPS value in your build.prop that will make your bootanimation run @ 60fps. If you need a slower framerate, please change the value to 30 or 25 (it looks awful)
