HoneyStreak DS7 Dumping - Dell Streak 7

Hey everyone I am currently working on dumping the dell streak 7's rom blocks right now and soon after I will need some help de-compiling them so that I can find out which one is the kernel then I am going to edit it's code and I will need help re compiling it so we can bring it back on to the streak 7 hopefully we can fix it's voltage problems and all will be good ps. I am tired of it turning off hahaha xD
EDIT: If anyone knows anything about the dell streak 7's hardware or were whats located etc... please join in and comment on anything you could think would be relevant for me I will need someone that can compile the code I probably can de-compile/decrypt if you know anything about this please tell me I only know what i've looked up and what I can assume
I know arm assembly so I can help fix this.

im thinking of breaking down the device and if so i will post the process

Anyone working on getting the mini3i rom?

Hi, I was just wondering if any of you had seen anyone online that is planning on getting the mini3i and putting the rom online, and if any of you are planning to port it? I've tried searching but I can't hardly find anything other than everyone is saying that the phone comes out this week. Maybe that'd get the ball rolling on getting more devs to work on getting the ophone rom ported to our phones? I know detox has been working on it but the more the merrier!
Thread closed in 1.......2.......3........
sorry (10 chars)
Closed why? If it's in the wrong forum, I apologize, but my question at it's base is: is there anyone looking at this/is it being developed? I ask because if no one else is showing interest in it, then I may take it on if anyone can help me find the dump from the phone. But I know that there are others on this forum that will have it done much quicker/better than I could...

DUMP?

I'm sorry I know this isn't Development, but I want to start Developing a ROM for the G1 with a well known Chef. So is it possible for somebody to post a DUMP of this phone for me or link me in the right direction? Thank you.
You can get the source (or something similar) for this phone from the samsung website but it has no touchwiz
Darn. That's what I was looking for.
lol Yeah same i would like to play round with editing the touchwiz
opensource.samsung.com/mobile/mobile-phone/gt-i9000/
thats where to get the main phone source but i dont know if anyone has managed to dump the touchwiz yet
Thanks a lot man. Well, if anyone get's a chance to make a good fresh DUMP, please post it.
Look at this, in the screen of the program, as you can see, there is the DUMP function...
If there is somebody thata have this phone, can try to make a dump and upload it...
Let us know

hey peoplez, so ive seen how many rom's there are out there got the nexus one and i was wondering what would it take to build my own personal rom?
Make the phone MINE, is there a guide (i know what you thinking "damn rookie" but we all have to start somewhere right?).
So if there is someone out there that can possibly help me/walk me through doing it, it will be a huge help

Nexus S Dump????

So whats this Nexus S dump stuff that I keep seeing around the forum? Is this something we can run on our phones yet or is it something I'd have to piece together. I've read a little about it and I guess I just don't understand. Is there a full rom for it yet??? I know someone on here knows exactly whats going on. Any help to get me understanding this would be awesome. Thanks ahead of time guys!!!

Lone dev looking for coding help

So i might not have the tag on here but i have done dev work (rootzwiki is where i used to dev.) and i have created a small little guide for the BSOD fix for our nexus 5's. Which is actually what brings me here today. Im looking for someone that has coding knowledge (not android persay but someone that is good with commands and cmd prompt.) im currently working on a project and ive got the base of it down i just am needing a bit of help for auto input. If ANYONE is willing to help please let me know. I dont want to post me code here as this project is a milestone for me as so far ive written it all by myself.
Thanks in advance.

Black Screen of Death. Its an issue i myself had and 1-3 others have had. Its very rare and only happened to me because i acidently flashed hells core (using the app from the playstore) and it flashed the nexus 4 kernel on my nexus 5 causing my device to not show anything on the screen NOR boot to either boot recovery OR the actual os.

Well... I know the fundamentals of programming and I have participated in a programming contest (I'm 18) and also I am quite good with automation cause I needed it for my projects.
Below you can see my work on a .bat file I've made to make easier my work on a homebrew PSP game.
https://github.com/Leajian/cspsp-nightly/blob/master/jge/Projects/cspsp/CSPSPdevTools-1.0.bat
The same goes with linux related automation, as you can see below here, I've created an (unfinished and buggy) menu script for android which is modular and unfortunately kinda slow and incompatible with some devices, cause by the time I was writing it I had no particular knowledge about programming. I was self-taught and I had been using goto methods. :silly:

I don't know what exactly you're looking for, please be more specific. I think I can help, but after 29/5/2015 because at that day my finals end.
EDIT: As long as your device has intact bootloader partition and it boots to it, you can always flash a nexus 5 kernel and/or a recovery image. It is suggested that you flash a factory image afterwards.
