[REQ] Theme Similar If Possible

If anyone is willing to pound out a nice, more professional looking theme - this is my entry!

I know, I know... it's linux... and it's a canceled phone, but never mind that. I love - LOVE the glossy black/gray/cyan color scheme.
There are some larger pictures floating about the net, but this is the only one I could find that shows multiple screens.

In the mean time, could someone direct me to the registry edits needed to change the color of selected/highlighted items? Can't seem to locate it anywhere.
With Mobilematts Fuzeberry theme and a transparent clock, I still get small lines of green on the left and right side of the clock - thinking it won't look so bad if it's cyan instead.
Frankly I'm pretty much sick of the black/green color scheme.

If you downloaded my red and chrome theme,(nice taskbar )just open up the highlights cab with any cab program and youll see all the files. There are afew more that I didn't do but that will at least give you the files to change.

GASP! who told you I downloaded your theme? I'm at work right now so I might try it later.
For some reason I cannot install your task bar on qsqa's new PROven ROM. Tried twice, but could only get the speaker icon. Probably going to go back to Arup's RRE (like I always do!)

Anyway - Evidently I must be mentally challanged because I couldnt get your ENTIRE theme to work. Could you throw up a .cab that'll do it all with 1 install?
P.S. I still want a theme that looks like my first post!!

Help with HDWall and slider tabs, please

hi susi...im pretty new to this also but i can give you a few pointers to look for i think. first of all with your icons there are 3 different icons sets in manilla you must change. you have got the non active icons changed to your horses, then there is an icon set for active (when you press the icon) you must change. then there is the large icon set for when you hold the slider icon and it appears in the middle of your screen. as for the cutting off of your icons i think you need to make your bottom curtain transparent and that will show them fully. i have yet to be able to change my icons yet, but for the curtain I use Max TF3D Theme Maker v4.1. searchfor this in the blackstone forum. there is a tutorial on how to use it in maxcys thread. I hope this help you some. good luck.
edit: on second look the reason your icon are being cut off may be because they are too big. I think the non active set can only be 64x64.....someone please correct me if i am leading susi astray.

my pictures are in the specified size 64px + 128px
the little once are even smaller only 48px
i choose all the pictures with HDWall an than i create the cab.
exactly as prescribed.
than i copy the cab in my phone, start it and it will be correctly installed.
but it´s dosn´t correctly, see my screen
I do not know where my mistake is and I'm unhappy

froyo 2.2 transparent status/task notification?

i'm looking for a transparent/shaded status or taskbar notification background. so what im really looking for is the background of the pull down tab to be specific. ive found one on this forum but metamorph wont let me flash it and i cant flash it because the package isnt signed.... let alone i do not know if it actually works or not ^^;;
a little info on my phone... im on a HTC Tattoo (Click) with 2.2 froyo without sense ROM.
ive attached the file so you guys can see. oh and another thing ive been having some sort of weird problem with my metamorph where when i start it it has to do a check but it says that i dont have enough memory but i definitely do have more than enough on the SD card and the phone.

your lack of experience shows. if you want help, find the specific png (aka image) that you are speaking about. then type it out here for people to read. then rather than posting a whole framework randomly, post something useful, like the image itself. explain what it looks like and then explain your 50% transparency request.
for example: i got that from your request, you want this image called status_bar_background. i made it 50% transparent myself and am showing you it using tinypic.com where you can upload any image for free and post it using the code.
the left image is the actual png image in framework-res.apk/framework/drawable-hdpi. the right image shows what it looks like on your phone.

Help needed with a resize problem

I am in the process of porting a theme and I've just noticed a problem with some images after re-sizing them.
The images in question have been re-sized to the correct size but are being distorted. What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do in order to make the images show correctly?
As you can see from the screenshot the "Clear" button doesn't look right at all.

There are similar buttons for the sim lock screen buttons and they are really badly distorted as well.
The other more noticable one is the jog dial image. I can't get a screenshot of it but the sound on/off jog tab bar (the one on the right when the screen is locked) if you side it to turn sound on or off the right hand side of the image gets all distorted and stretched length-ways.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's doing my head in.

You haven't re-patched them. As they are .9.png's when you change them (resize for example) they need their outer markers patching again so that Android knows how to stretch them properly.
Look at the 'draw9patch.bat' tool in the SDK under the 'tools' folder. There are also quite a few guides for .9.png's on the net, and xda... somewhere.

Ah, that explains it. I never realised the .9 png's had to be patched. I knew the canvas size was bigger than the actual image but didn't realise there was more involved. Jeez, a lot more work involved then, lol

Hi, congratulation for your wonderful theme!
As i am trying to change the LG Contact (DIALER) Theme, i guess you could be the right person here to help me out.
I cannot find a way to change the bottom background bar, even if i change in transparent the green background of the icon icbtn_dial_action_green_normal i can see a grey background there.
I'll post the image so that you can better understand what i am saying.

2. you must work on with draw 9 icons

Thank you for your help! BTW i know how to edit, patch and compile .9.png image , but here the big problem is that i cannot change any xml because Contacs.apk (LG) doesn't decompile through apk_manager i think because of some dependee...
That said, even if i manage to change the backgroud btn there is still a portion of screen that has a different colour that should be changed in some xml.
