how'd you get this working metamorph doesn't work on any thunderbolts i thought? At least none of the ones i've seen. has the stupid ass /system free space message that always happens with HTC phones.

Tried several times with metamorph and it removes the icon, but after reboot the default 4 g comes back. Using lighting 3.3 can you help?

You may want to ask the author of that ROM if it will work.
I only tested on BAMF 1.5 Remix.

I misread that. Do you have the latest version?
The file format changed in the newest versions.

Yes, I had the latest version installed from the market.
That didn't work either. So I deleted the file and re-downloaded it. It now works. Thanks, it looks good!

Could u possibly do it for 3g too?

lol, I saw it already =P
I used it for a while but whenever I exited an app it froze up my phone for like a minute. Had to pull my battery a couple of times.

Did anyone get the widgets working right? LOL I rushed earlier today but didn't necessary read as much as I should have. ~facepalming~

Woo! Flashing it fixed the problem! No freezes so far. This is my new favorite launcher.

hmmm again Im having tw4 problems on frankenstein rom no extra themes added
My messaging app keeps force closing
Im doing everything right fresh memory card and all
this is sweet, just wish I could use it

Nevermind. Flashing it doesn't fix the problem. Still freezes my phone every once in a while. Gets really annoying

Tried wipe cache/dalvik x3 then flash the zip. Says it installs, but still the old TW4 (Old menu and no resizing, etc.)
Then tried to install the apk, but get "Application Not installed"
I'm running SRF1.1.1 (EXT4) with launcherpro as backup launcher if that helps.
What am I missing?

Google sdx app removal and download and install. Delete the old tw4 from the apps and then flash. Or use root explorer to delete the apk in /system/app...make sure u have another launcher before u delete.

Wont flash on. Was able to add it through the APK, but would rather flash it to get full functionality.

[FONT] Ice Cream Sandwich Roboto font (Updated 2X)

I saw it in some other forum. I like it very much so I tough to share it with you guys. Easy install. After install apply in Settings>Display>Font style. Enjoy!
P.S. Must have rooted phone to work and it looks like some will need to reboot phone as well.
UPDATE
Here's another RobotoRegular apk from user Brainfuck on Reddit. It works on stock Galaxy S2. Let me know if it works for everyone so I can delete the first one.

Roboto Standard and Small size attached. They should work for stock and rooted as well.

Thanks installed perfectly for me. It looks like though that I had to reboot my phone though for it to see it working on the phone.

Did not work for me. It just changed to the default Fusion IX font. I have other FlipFonts which work just fine. I tried rebooting, but it made no difference.

Thanks for feedback. I'm using Fasty 2.5 and installed without a hitch. It didn't need a reboot. Go figure...

Why would a flipfont require root?

worked on Illuminance just fine

To those with problems, try putting the .apk in system/app with root explorer and rebooting and see if it show up then.

Good question. Better ask AT&T. I just got AT&T Galaxy S2, not rooted yet, with checked unknown sources. Guess what? It doesn't work.

Try second attached file at OP. The biggest difference is in letter c.

To the people using this font: Are you running Voodoo Color or any other sort of sharpness tweak? I'm using a KJ3 kernel and find that Roboto, especially bolded, doesn't look great on my screen. Bolded words look kind of bouncy and uneven, and I think it's due to a lack of sharpness on a stock-ish kernel.

use the theme app and go to customize, select fonts, then go to latest, and Android 4.0 is there, im using it on MIUI and i like it!

Worked on my non-rooted Galaxy P7500 straight away. Thanks.

Both packages installed fine, but only RobotoRegular worked and actually changed the font. Didn't need a reboot, either.
Stock/rooted KJ3.

the openes up loads of capabilities nice find so the easy calculator apps ect should be no problem

no its just side loading your not rooting the diffulcult part will be if your computer can find the drivers

Just try Easy Uninstaller and it is working perfectly uninstall unwanted apps.

Sometimes if install useless apps, need to uninstall, I already found way to uninstall. Just use Easy Uninstaller.

It needs internet and that is something the Gear lacks.. So it will not work

Grouper and Sky Go

This has got me totally demented. I need sky go to keep up with the footie when I'm away from home. I dunno what detection routines sky go uses but it sucks lol.
I've tried unrooting various ROMs using supersu to no avail.
So now I've installed multirom and slimkat 4.4, tried titanium complained about no root. Tried a few other apps with the same result, excellent.
Tried sky go, as usual it teases me, everything is looking good then the dreaded message "sky go is not supported on rooted android device"
So how the f**k can sky go detect it but nothing else can

the only way to get it working is to have it completely stock, any kernel/rom thats not stock will cause the error so if you have the superuser app its still rooted

Good idea, never thought of that. I've downloaded what I think is a stock 4.3 untouched ROM. If this doesn't work when I get my laptop back from being repaired I will do as you suggested.

You need a totally stock unrooted and locked bootloader handset/tablet.

I suspect they're doing something crazy like checksumming the system partition. That would explain also why even minor OS updates render it unusable for weeks (4.4 support? Dream on..), and it only works on a limited subset of phones.
I reckon it's possible to make one that works on most stuff but any attempt at decompiling/recompiling the APK breaks it as it also internally checks itself to make sure it's not been modified, and I haven't dug far enough to remove that check.
