Pu the Kungfu Panda will stare at you while your Android is booting
rename file to bootanimation.zip
Copy bootanimation in system/customize/resouce
Change permission for User to Read & Write. Permission for remaining 2 categories to Read.

it works great and animations are very beautiful ! But one thing : After instalation, i have lost my google account.

This is the bootanimation made from the sense 3.0 weather video. It's alittle on the bulky side but uses high quality images.
Use root explorer and paste in the /system/media folder

I decided to make a bootanimation of something, when I realised that most of us use facebook. So i made a bootanimation for Android which is Facebook-like
TO INSTALL!!!
- Download bootanimation.zip
- Put bootanimation.zip in phone SD card
- Get root explorer from market or google
- Open root explorer and find bootanimation.zip
- then go to this directory: system/media
- MAKE SURE R/W is on!! ( DO THIS FROM TOGGLE AT THE TOP )
- Paste it!!!!
- Click R/O ( DO THIS FROM TOGGLE AT THE TOP )
- REBOOT and Enjoy!!
THIS IS FOR HDPI 480x800PIXEL screens...

The latests creation in my Bootanimations... This one is based off the iMac start up screen. It is the minimalistic grey spinner with the Android logo inside.
How to install -
Remember HDPI 480x800pxls Only ( Not long till MDPI, qHD and XHDPI are supported )
- Download bootanimation.zip
- Put bootanimation.zip in phone SD card
- Get root explorer from market or google
- Open root explorer and find bootanimation.zip
- Copy bootanimation.zip
- then go to this directory: system/media
- MAKE SURE R/W is on!! ( DO THIS FROM TOGGLE AT THE TOP )
- Delete exisitng ones
- Paste it!!!!
- Click R/O ( DO THIS FROM TOGGLE AT THE TOP )
- REBOOT and Enjoy!!

I have been doing lock rings for a little while now and I look forward to expanding those once Virtuous Ten Studio can give us access to Sense 3.5, 3.6, and 4.0 m10 files, but until then I thought I might try my hand at some other mods... like Boot Animations.
This is my first attempt but hopefully not my last... I'm open to suggestions if you guys have some ideas.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Step 1: Download a boot animation using a link below
- Step 2: Copy the boot animation to your sdcard
- Step 3: Use a file explorer (I recommend ES File Explorer) to navigate to your current bootanimation.zip
* If you are using an AOSP ROM this should be /system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip
* If you are using a Sense ROM this should be /system/customize/resource/VZW_bootanimation.zip
- Step 4: Make a backup of your existing boot animation file by copying it to your sdcard
- Step 5: Delete the boot animation file from the system folder
- Step 6: Copy the custom boot animation file and paste it to where the original boot animation file was located
- Step 7: Rename the file exactly like the original.
- Step 8: Reboot the phone

- I am very open to suggestions and guidance. If anyone has advice feel free to post here or PM me.
