This is a Hybird Rom based on HTC Sense Rom but HTC Sense + Apps removed and replaced with Stock Froyo Apps.
This project is now on Hold, I have decided never to buy HTC product again and i got rid of my HTC wildfire, bought Xperia X10 so i will be contributing in X10 threads. If you would like to borrow any bits of my work e.g. lockscreen fixes then please help yourself or continue the project by downloading the latest V6.

i found a bug myself lol
on fresh install first time on market you get FC when contacts sync
THIS is fixed for now by including HtcContacts.apk, hopefully this will be removed later.

well im just having a play around and switch htc setting with cm6 setting as cm6 has better and more advance options

HTC desire hd type firmware
my friend has a HTC desire hd. i have observed tat the 2.2 friyo of desire hd is completely different and looks way cooler and has "HTC sense skins". can someone please create a rom which is just like the HTC desire hd.
some things which are missing in this rom are
1. scrollable icons on the notification bar
2. camera lenses.. it has more camera features
3. htc skins
4. better navigation system and inbuilt maps. etc.
please create a rom that has all these features.

But this seems like a good one. Looks like just what I need. I love CM6.1 but miss a few of the good things from Sense.
I am just "sitting on the fence" watching the feedbak Hugeball gets. If they are good I will definetely try it. Right now I am "stuck" with Wildpuzzle because I can't live without some of the Sense bits.
HewGballs: Have you left FM-radio in there? That is one of the deal-breaker for non-sense roms for me.
Does the GingerBread v.8 theme work with this ROM?

This stuff based on Gingerbread, the stock is still based on Froyo. You can try by extract the zip, then install it just like regular app/apk. If it doesn't work, you can remove it, or it will be removed by itself at reboot, because this is apk system.

how to i get back to the original launcher by CM7?
If you didn't uninstall it, go into the settings, go to applications, then choose you're current launcher and clear default actions of it. Then, pull led home and it will ask for which launcher you want to use.
I'm not sure its clear enough since my phone isn't in english. :S

Installation
After downloading the ROM, and adding any add-ons you choose install the ROM through recovery or ROM manager like any other ROM. After flashing the ROM, you must flash a custom kernel of your choice, otherwise it will not be overclockable, and may not work. Make sure you wipe the cache after flashing the kernel otherwise the WiFi will not work. It is advisable that you do a full wipe before flashing the ROM, as I can not provide any support if you did not.

Think its awesome that your only 15 making your own roms bro. The thing is everyone on this forum that's using a sense Rom wants 3 or 3.5 and the only way they'll leave that is for a ics aosp Rom. Personally I prefer aosp so I'm out. But I did want to mention what I think your doing is cool and you should keep on it even if you don't get a lot of feed back.

Make it as stable as you can. CRT animations,advanced power menus,extended quick settings,misc tweaks(like rcmix tweaks) etc.

heh i was thinking of doing that too actually but as of this moment there are not that many roms for our ob only diff versions of it, so at this moment i suppose its still easy to spot roms.... and Nooby's Thread ald has a list of the current OB roms... so.... guess i there wont be a need for it now =P

I think TMR rom should be in experimental/WIP section, because is based on a beta MIUI ROM.

HTC Desire C Customiser
Hello Guys.
This is a basic AROMA installer which can be used after you flash one of the sense 4.0a roms available for the desire c atm ( ie Nameless rom and Explosion rom).This MOD allows you to customise your desire C better right after you flash a new custom rom or any time for that matter.I have combined almost all the MODs available at the time for desire C and provided an aroma installer so thet we can choose what to install and what not to install.
Currently I have included the following options to this :
1.Rosie Options:
a. 4x4 Rosie
b .5x4 Rosie
c. 5x5 Rosie
d. 4x5 Rosie
e. 5x5 Rosie with custom backgroung images
2.Choice Of Other Misc Launchers:
a.Nova Launcher Lite
b.Zeam Launcher
c.Xperia Home Launcher
d.Desense-(Remove Rosie)
3.Sense 4 Skins:
a.Matte,
b.Aluminium,
c.Steel,
d.Infinite,
e.Concrete
4.Performance Scripts :
a.Thunderbolt!,
b.Supercharging options
c.Loopy Smoothness Script
d.Mp9Engine script
5.Boot Animation Chooser - I have Included about 13+ boot animations to choose from
6.Theming Option:
a. Blue sense theme (By Mazer One)
b. ICS style theme (by brnt)
c. Return back to the stock theme
d. Added recent themes
e.Themed Recent App Panels
7.Some Usefull MODS like Online nandroid backup ,Adrenaline boost script,Button Remapper etc
Benefits Of Using This MOD :
You can switch between any of these mods any time you like and customise your Desire C the way you like
Installation:
Make A nandroid Backup before Flashing
1.Place The V5_Customiser.zip in you sd card
2.Boot Into Recovery
3.mount /system and /data
4.Flash it like any other .zip file
5.You will be met by a cool Aroma interface and just proceed to install what you like.
Bugs:
I have tested it out on both the Nameless Rom aswell as Explosion Rom and haven't found any bugs as of now.So try it out and please tell me if you find any bugs.

PS:You have to use script manager and run the scripts you have installed in init.d as root and boot options to get the desired performance boost.

overclock
nikhil, can this be used for overclocking the cpu?
Sorry, you cannot use this for overclocking.Cant flash kernels through recovery because Desire C still has s-on
But you can get overclock kernel from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000636 (Dont use it if you are runnng namelessv6 rom though )
yep, that's the thing, I'm on Nameless 6. I guess then we have to wait until someone rewrites the kernel?
You can still use the overclocked kernel i think.Try to flash the overclocked kernel and push the files in /system/lib/modules/ from Nameless Rom v5 into your current rom (V6). As described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1812583&page=47
But not sure if this works though
I read in an other thread that it rather slowed the phone down, so I wait until a badass dev comes up with a better solution}

I use Loopy smoothness script and thunderbolt script(or V6 supercharger script) .These 2 scripts pretty much kills most of the lag.

- Could you include more options for remove other bloatware too, like flipboard for example?
- Is there a way to customise again without flashing again?
- Is return to stock theme the same as einstein.frat posted in his guide?

No need to select the setting you have already installed(Does not cause any issues if you select them again though, it just overwrites only the selected settings)

You can mount /system and /data from the option mounts and storage in cwm. But now it works even if you dont mount /system and /data.
