If you are coming from a rom that has clockwork recovery you can simply flash with the zip file from the CM7 Technomancer thread.
Just boot into recovery and do full wipe (factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache) then flash your rom.

What I would suggest is that wipe all data and restore your backup before you even flashed this CM7
Is his a test unit? What is with the numbers in the top left corner?

Problem solved using RUU...
Today i rebooted my Tablet. During boot it hangs at the Google logo (spinning gears). Restart doesn't help...it still hangs on boot. I started CWM 5.5.0.4 but when I do a factory reset or restore an older backup of my aokp b35 installation the tablet reboots.
It seems the only thing i can do with CWM Recovery is to wipe the cache partition (also clear dalvik ends in a reboot).
any ideas??

which rom should i flash with odin?
I downloaded the Honeycomb Stock ROM from samsdroid.com. Flash with odin (PDA) seems ok, but after reboot i still have a boot-loop (now at the glowing samsung-logo > stock rom).

ok...system is working.
Via Power/Vol Down i started Android System Recovery (CWM Recovery is not installed anymore!) and did a Factory Reset & Wipe Cache. Both Operations are now successful! I rebooted my Tablet and Honycomb is loading. Perfect.
Now i will install CWM Recovery again...followed by the newest AOKP.
Thanks for pointing me to the right direction.

HI I want to install the KingDroidICSROM and other ROM but none of them work and i dont know why it either end up in boot loop
or restart in recover mode...
i recently started my first android which is galaxy 9003 and switch to my second galaxy note
i still can root it and get super user and install CM9 but what i really want is to install KingDroidICSROM
and other custom ROM but with all the samsung apps in it and the main thing i wanna do is
to OC it to at least 1.7 GHZ for daily use or maybe even 1.8 until note 2 is out
this is what i have now

Extract a copy of your stock build.prop from your backup or from your stock firmware, then use and to and push the original build.prop to system, then reboot the device to recovery then wipe the cache partition(and dalvik cache if you have TWRP), then reboot.

So when I try to boot up my phone depending on wether the USB is connected or not or how do I want to boot the following happens:

So to shorten all the things I've donde I'll make a chronological list:
Install TWRP.
Flash RMM bypass and Magisk.
Use it on a daily basis with the stock rom 8.0.
Back up all my data to my SD card with Titan BackUp and TWRP.
Flash PA6 ROM using TWRP
seems to work fine until I try to make a call and it doesn't recognise my SIM card
I flash stock rom 9.0 using ODIN
I flash TWRP using ODIN
I flash PA6 ROM using TWRP
works fine so I restore my TWRP backup (only storage partition)
This is a simple 'in a nutshell' list I've done, it is missing dalvik, cache wipings, factory resets and the like, if they are necessary please let me know.
I already know once I am able to flash anything via ODIN I'll install the stockrom, then TWRP and later PA6 ROM and install every app by myself
