I am trying to change the toggle icons to be black when on. I opened the .png's in Gimp but it will not take any color but white. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if this is even possible?
Thanks,
Nick

i have tried multiple themes in handcent itself and tried custom stuff. but, the notification bar to the left of chats as well as if you hold down on a chat it highlights the hideous green color htc loves.
i just want that to be blue... so is this somewhere in android or what?

Hi all,
Any mod out there that will keep my top notification bar black? Quite annoying when it's see through on home screen then black on my app drawer..
There used to be a mod somewhere in the themes section. You can also change launchers which will make it black.

Is there a simple way to get back the original plain white background for text messages? Right now I have an all black background and white is not one of the options when I go to change the background.

download a plain white picture. google it or something.
then go to your stock messaging app.
MORE > Setting > Background and Bubbles
Now when your here. Look for and click on SQUARE "add your own picture" ICON on the BOTTOM LEFT CORNER.
Now find the picture and select it. It should be added. If I'm correct it will automatically giving a light dark film over it so it won't be pure white. IDK why it does this.
Hope this helped you.
Thanks ... But I did try that and it was like light gray, not white for some reason.
