Look into the thread of the Glitch-kernel and try this settings.

as stated above...read up before you do anything...o/c u/v is very chip specific....some people just cant do it because of their chips...others can ocuv like mad, its an incremental thing that needs step by step stress testing....hint...never set anything as boot setting until you are totally certain that you are stable...hope this helps a bit

Be sure to have two things on your internal sd when you try oc/uv: the kernel cleaning script and the volt scheduler.

Advice about lagfix

What is the easiest way to lagfix my sgs without losing any apps,or having to install a fresh ext4 enabled stock rom? Its on latest official 2.3.3-xxjvo baseband, gingerbread.xwjvh

I'm on FuguMod ultra and very happy
Flash cm7 and you will never ever need a lag fix

i thought you can just convert your rfs to ext4, that should be enough, no? o.o
I dont like the cm7 camer app... Samsung default is way better.

Agreed... But then again, there are always a lot of free Market alternatives to consider.

How to check if I'm running ext4

I have modded my phone with darky rom 10.1 and its running really well with this and the lagfix that came with the update. I'm currently getting about 1672 - 1752 in quadrant.
I was told that it can go even faster if running ext4
Should I just stick with what I have or try push the phone that bit harder.

Good to know.

since you have darky rom and its kernel is in the voodoo family, you can download "voodoo conrol app" and see you lagfix status and do more ..

[Q] overclocking speedmod k15h-t21-300hz

I just flashed simply honey 3.9 and I would like to overclock to 1.2ghz
Can someone please explain to me how to do this step by step or point me to a guide? I searched a lot but couldn't find exactly what to do.
Thanks.
Speedmod doesn't allow u to overclock, install a kernel such as Semaphore or Talon to use OC....

Talon Dev 0.31 kernel is awesome. I use the snail10 talon kernel variant.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Get tegraks overclock app from market..you can use that to oc speedmod
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
trying talon
OK, I heard some good things about talon and I am going to install the snail10 since it supports JVQ.
Afterwards, what program should I use? What UV? Can someone please explain that a bit?
Thanks.
Or you could use 'Voltage Control' for oc/uv (look for it in the market).

serious problem with storage!!

I have recently flashed remics onto my phone. I then tried to install fifa which is a rather large app. The app said there was not enough space on my sd card. I checked the storage and found all my storage had shrunk. A lot of storage space was part of my usb storage which I don't even know what it is... how do I get more storage onto my sd card.

More features like bigmem, touchwake, more governors etc but when i overclock on semaphore the odd app will crash.
i read that the crashed by live oc are caused of the low voltage you must toogle the voltage ... can sema kernel have a longer battery life ?

Same as stock (battery life). Increasing the voltage is at risk, and cause a decrease battery life!
Each other kernel except Stock is unnecessary (in my opinion)! :fingers-crossed: I don't see any advantage
sorry my english is not the best so you say these kernels like sema kernel are not necessary stock is good ?
