[Theme] Darkstar Port - DJ05 only

This is the Fascinate DJ05 port of darkstar, the original theme can be found here and all applicable credit from there given in this lazy way of giving credit.
also to credit is DtatchD, RetroKid223, ThatDudeButch, ludeboy, and anyone else who helped me in any way that i can't think of off the top of my head. THANKS!
oh, and someone thank pete too.

What is the name of the font in the screenshots?

WOW! This theme is awesome! One of the best dark themes I've used! I know this might be asking a lot, but is there any chance we could get another variation with Electric Blue accents instead of Green?

i found the wallpaper in Flikie Wallpapers, i'll attach it the next time i connect my phone.
i don't have any of the jars and xmls to do a di01 version anymore, if i get some time i'll hunt them down and do it, but no promises :\
my under construction theme will be similar but accents will be blue.

Thank you for posting this in the forums. I seem to have an older version because my dialer isn't themed and I don't have the widget groupings.

This is the best theme out there IMHO. Sadly there isn't a version for DI01 unless someone knows of one somewhere or can make one for this.
What would happen if I loaded this theme for DI01?

One minor glitch.
The graphic for the Wi-fi toggle indicator looks different than the ones for BT, GPS and Airplane.
The top of the green bar doesn't fade to black like the other three.

Knew there was one missing, I'll get on it, doing Gtalk and Whatsapp too.

My psds won't teach you much I'm afraid.
Theres not much to making a glassy / glossy effect, you just draw over the item you want it done to with a circular shape (easiest to work with). Apply brightness, white to transparent gradient. Just think about where the light is, keep having a go on photoshop

Yeah I got the one rar with the psds just noticed now actually as I am sitting down to work on them. I think thats great you would do that. Changing those colors is as easy as just messing with the hue/saturation. I already have a few of them done. If anyone else wants custom colors I would be willing to do help out.

So here is one I found missing. An icon for email. I used the files PSD and found an envelope online hope you all enjoy it. This is using the Thick Glass PSD.

Such as black menus and sub menus...black settings menu...im just not a fan of white on these phones and I think the Blue glow would look better over black than white
EDIT: Looking at the original i9000 thread it has all black menu's etc...it looks good....All the screenshots of yours are white so if I spoke prematurely I apologize as this is a WIP

ok, i will look into that. i will have to tackle .9 edits for that. it had to come at some point. ill see what i can do.

I agree with the black and blue...i do like the battery though

Nice job, Mike. I love dark and blue themes, and this is no exception. Though I will reserve for maybe some more themed stuff, such as the dialer, messaging.apk, etc. The devil is in the details, but I love your start on it, this has MAJOR potential, nice port.

Still reserved for the moment, unless you need a tester, I'd gladly help you with that if needed, but again, I HAVE to say it AGAIN, VERY NICE START.

Obviously gunner is still in the beginning stages, and this looks like it will be great when it is finished. I posted this over at AC where I spend more time, but I wanted to let everyone see what could happen when you mix and match and combine the great talents of the awesome themers. The blue icons in the notification bar for gunner's theme look awesome when combined with Nitro's blue wallpapers from his themes. Just imagine this with blue themed icons in the dock.

Ok one thing so far I see is when the 3g is not running like no data going in or out it just shows 3g d. And it's all gray well its stands out like a red head in china. But I love the battery and pull down menu and the shutdown menu. One thing I ask not to be there is crazy screen animation from screen to screen, I think it just makes them look kiddy or cheep. But so far so good if u need a tester holler at me on here or ac or twitter.

Awesome right? As you can see it is available in 2 versions, frameless and black frame with 6 characters: White Bird, Red Bird, Black Bird, Blue Bird, Yellow Bird and the King Pig. I tried to refrain from using curves in my icon pack and some icons didn't turn out very nice but I am very happy with this batch.
It's in 256x256px .PNG format for your phone. If you want .ICO format or other sizes you can request. Expect to see .ICO soon though now I'm just lazy to make

Thanks dude, unfortunately most of the icon pack have frames, they vary with black frames, or even white frames, most of the apps I did have 2 or 3 icons lol, now I'm thinking how do I seperate them when I release them ._.

I did not theme the default MIUI analog clock. The first clock you see is a MIUI gadget 2 x 2 clock, available separately on the download page. The Beautiful Widget themes are also available separately.
I am glad to take request for improvements/expansions/additional icons. If you press menu within an app, these are the IC menus - obviously I did not do them for all android apps. I am glad to add whatever is requested.
At 1900+ images and a lot of xml code, this took a lot of time. Feel free to use any of the components on your own theme - I only ask that you give me credit
I have a poll going for votes on whether anyone wants this in greyscale. I will consider it a valid request at 30 yes votes.
