[q] is there a way to get launcher pro or sense widgets?

Right now, I'm running CM 6 and I had launcher pro plus, loved the widgets but i found it was using up quite a bit of my battery. I'm trying to switch back to ADW launcher but I cant find anything close to the widgets that Launcher pro offered(i.e. bookmarks, messaging scroll widget). I've looked at beautiful widgets, pure messenger, and some other ones but can't quite find anything like it.
Is there a way to get sense widgets on cm6 other than launcherpro? Even the clock widget that has alarm+timer+stopwatch when you click it(i have weather widgets so it looks identical). And also the bookmarks4x4 and messaging scrollable widgets.

No you can not get sense widgets unless you are running a 1.5 ROM or Sense its self because the apps need to be ported along with the corresponding framework, which was done on some 1.5 ROM[look it up]. If you really want them search for a stable sense ROM idk if 32A has any but i know 32b does have a stable one by Xillius . Use Launcher Pro or Pro Plus and find a battery optimization apk as-well..

If you want sense... use a senseui rom. Simple as that.

[Q] Sense widget like apps for 2.2/2.3

Hi all,
I'm currently on the V13 rom purely for the sense widgets [mail, messages, stock clock, people, etc]. I would like to move on to a 2.2 or 2.3 rom but notice there isn't quite the final working rom that supports sense. I think ChocolateFroyo 2.2 is the closest but doesn't have working camera?
Anyhow, thinking that if i update to an AOSP 2.2/2.3 rom, are there any apps in the market that provide the sense widgets feel?
Any other suggestions welcome!

Launcherpro Plus supports themes now, there's a sense theme out for that, the guy that's done them has also made a sense style weather clock widget

Also Go launcher ex with Go weather provides free widgets with there launcher. Maby you should check that out.

Alright, got the new rom, got launcherpro plus and fancy widget [i love this!!]. So i won't bother with the LPP sense theme now. However i notice LPP doesn't have an email widget [gmail widget is useless to me]. Anyone know of a good [sense like] email widget?

What GO apps do you use?

I use GO Launcher EX and GO SMS Pro and I am happy with them. What do you guys think about GO Contacts? is it fast?. If u guys use other GO products please state their name. Thank You!

I use:
Go SMS Pro and Go Launcher EX. To every1 who use Go Launcher I can recommend GoWidgets Calendar and Messaging, both are really cool and functional. I think Go Contacts is great, but unfortunately there is no Norwegian translation so I'll stick with TouchPal until that's fixed

I use Go keyboard and sometimes Go launcher Ex.

Aah, and I forgot that I use Go Weather as well. It looks really nice and I use the HTC widget skin

Have tried them all, but needed a lock-screen pop-up for SMS, so abandoned GoSMS for Handcent. Go Contacts was laggy when I tried it, now trying Contapps. Go Launcher Ex was OK, but since I'm using Elelinux 7.0 ADW works better. Still, I like their style!

To all you who followed my advice and use the GoWidgets, check this awesome transparent theme!!!!!

I've settled on Go Launcher EX and GoSMS, after trying ADW, Launcher Pro(paid) & and Handcent. All on recommendations from friends.
Overall I like the customizations, ease of use, and 'snappiness' of both apps over their marker alternatives.
I tried GoCalendar widget, but can't offer you anything more than, "I just really wasn't feelin' it"...if you can follow me on that.
GoWeather was ok, but again wasn't feelin' it. Decided on the weather app within Beautiful Widgets which I use as my clock widget.

I use the go launcher with a really great theme ( Real Black ) its so great and is fast
And use the calendar widget.
The weather i use the beautiful widgets only without animation.
have used the go sms pro, but I felt too slow.

Can anyone recommends a good scrollable widget for facebook and twitter together? Like the timeline widget of android pro widgets, cause that o e makes the nova launcher force closes in CM9..
If not what good widgets for facebook and twitter? Even if seperated, as long as they are scrollable..

You can try " colorize widget " from market ... Scrollable, seperate widgets for facebook and twitter or timeline widget for both atm... It doesnt support twlauncher but works well with go launcher and adw ex...

well the thing is there is desktop replacement launcher
but i cant find stand alone widgets like timescape , messagescape thing or contacts widget.
i want to use them with go launcher.

Most of the widgets dont work on go launcher in my Rom : Noa V2.0 all SE ported widgets etc are included
