ROMs Components??

Hi all,
I own a Touch Diamond. I looked at the various cooked ROMs which include newer HTC components (such as Youtube sw, keyboard drivers...), but I prefer to keep on using the original HTC rom (I'm from Italy and there are few ITA ROMs ). So I was wondering where I could find up-to-date HTC components to install on my device... Is there a section I haven't seen here?

Some questions to customize a tytn II

Hello,
I want to customize my Tytn II by my own.
But before I start to play I have some questions .
What are the most usefull tweaks and software to use?
I know there is the KaiserTweak tool but the last update was one year ago, is there something newer ?
What about the different video driver, is that usefull ?
Whats better for Tytn II, TouchFLO 3D or Manila , are there any other skins that support german language ?
Is that WM6.1 ROM from HTC-Site the latest revison?
When I´m flashing to that HTC-ROM will that flash change my hardspl and radio too? Atm I have HardSPL 3.56 and 1.71.09.01 Radio .

Blackstone update with Rhodium WM6.5 rom?

Hi
Is it possible to update the HTC Touch HD (Danish Blackstone) with a Danish WM6.5 Rhodium original rom?
Except from the hardware keyboard, the hardware (processor, memory) should be the same.
Is there any descriptíon for changing a Rhodium rom to a Blackstone rom?

It is possible somewhat, you need to port the ROM to be able to use with a blackstone, something many chefs already have done, you could look into cooking your own ROM

yes, i think Miri V29 and DUtty's R15 is somewhat similar to the Official Rhodium update.

But there are people (like me) out there who don´t want a "somewhat similar" ROM but a Stock-ROM delievered by HTC/Vodafone/whoever, only ported to Blackstone...

I am also searching for such a description, wanna also change a Rhodium-ROM (GER) to Blackstone, but haven´t found anything like this yet. And the thread i asked a chief to do this was closed by the Mods
So if anyone has a hint/tutorial/description how to PORT a ROM from Rhodium to Blackstone please let me/us know....

You wont be able to use an offical rhodium/topaz rom for blackstone, different drivers etc.

Dump a blackstone rom and an official 6.5 rom, take drivers from the blackstone dump and apps etc from the rhodium/topaz rom, build yourself a new rom
For more info just search this rom forum for help on cooking lessons, plenty of info available.

Ok, so if i understood this right i need:
A Dump of my GER WM6.1-Blackstone-ROM
The original GER-WM6.5-Rhodium-ROM
And just replace the drivers in this Rhodium-ROM with those from my Blackstone-ROM and cook this together => porting done?!
I already searched the whole forum, but didn´t find anything about pure porting, all i found were just How-tos on cooking in general.....
Could we please use this thread as a "porting-class"??

But that's what you will be doing, cooking, not really porting, as you still need some stuff from the blackstone rom to make it all work, you wont be able to use apure rhodium/topaz rom on the blackstone.
If you take a look at sparkienl's thread you can download his latest kitchen, and read through the thread to get an idea of what blackstone apps/drivers you need to make it work on the blackstone.

I also want to make a porting, if possible.
I want to keep the Danish language in the rom, and have an original rom as possible.
I will try to read as many thread as possible, and if I succed in cooking/porting, I will let you know.
I can upload the original WM6.5 Danish rom for Rhodium and a original Danish WM6.1 rom for blackstone, if anyone is interested, but where should I uploade it?

Thanks for this But the problem won´t be to get those ROMs but the "how do i start to "port" them to Blackstone.....
@Kina500: I will also let you know if i get any further with this, at the moment i try to contact some german chiefs if they could guide me a bit

[Q] Touch Diamond2 T5353

Hello,
I've just bought a new Touch Diamond2 T5353 few months ago and really can not deal with smoothly.
Please what windows version I may use with it?
The phone is unlocked and I do not know if the windows versions is the latest or not.
Please advise what can I do.
I understand that you may ignore newbie questions but I hope if someone stop a minute and reply.

Is it supporting upgrading to 6.5 as it came with 6.1?
Also there are toooooooooo many cooked ROMs, how can I gigure the suitable one for me?
Also I am using English and Arabic, so I need it to support Arabic but it is ok to use an English interface, but I mean to support Arabic.
Also there ae too many applications preinstalled with the phone when I bought it, so will it be included also as well in the cooked ROMs or not?

A couple of questions about an official upgrade from WinMo 6.1 to 6.5

I've got an unlocked HTC Touch Diamond 2, currently running an official WinMo 6.1 rom.
My main question is - is there any evidence that an upgrade to the official WinMo 6.5 rom will improve the phone signal?
My other question:
Will the rom for the Rhodium work on the Topaz? HTC tell me it's the same (verbally), hence the the support page showing the rom for Touch Pro 2.

No! For this to happen you'll need to find a suitable radio.nbh for Topaz.
Our WinMo phones can flash the splash screen, OS and radio only.
