hey guys i've had RUA on my hd2 for a while and i cannot get it to play. as soon as the game begins the unicorn blows up and dies instantly more or less. leaving me with about 12 points per round. lol.
i was just wondering if anybody else has gotten this to work on an android build for the hd2? i've tried it on hyperdroid gbx 12, hyperdroid cm7, and the typhoon cm7 (briefly) to no avail. same thing in each time.
i'm not one for changing builds every other day, so if someone could figure out how to get this to work on the current hyperdroid cm7, that would be sick.
i'd like to be able to play the game, it's super addicting, and i did pay a whopping $1 for it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Works fine for me. Hyperdroid CM7 2.1
well wtf? I've had the compatibility mode turned off fire a while because of other apps. I wonder why it won't work for me?

does anybody have an idea with this? i'd imagine it has to do with hyperdroid's 167 lcd density. but i dont get why skymera says he has the same version rom running as i do and it works no problem?
skymera: did you edit your lcd density?
i'm really annoyed by this. i dont want to change my lcd density everytime i want to play this game, it's the only app that i've had a problem with so far. does anybody know of a way that i could text edit the RUA files to play on the 167 density? or would that even work if possible?
works great for me on Ultimate Droid 3.0
i would post the actual link but mod rules are blocking it (no offence mods)
just go to filecrop.com and type in robot unicorn attack.apk it should show you a list of them you can download and try

Has anyone else had any experience with monster madness? I purchased it from the market and it very buggy. There were a lot of sound issues and a lot of force closes. I downloaded the beta supplement package for vegan tab and everything was fine with the audio but now it is very twitchy and very slow.
Does anyone else have any experience with this app?
Sent from my G-Tablet VegAn-TAB 5.11 Beta using Tapatalk.
works pretty dang good
it works pretty good on vegan ginger there is little lag with voice but its very playable just turn down volume. i tried it on tnt lite first and was so laggy that is it was unreal. and if u like emulators and have wii remote vegan ginger also works really good with all of those if u just use spare parts to fix the screen size
for me its too buggy to play. Right when I start gameplay its over. Played backbreaker HD, gunbros, samurai 2 HD, modern combat HD, and the list goes on
On vegan b5
I have tried Monster Madness on VEGAn gingerbread. it loads got as far as picking up 1st weapon and it crashes. sometimes i can't even get that far.

Yeah with that latest pershoot kernel from his blog and latest VEGAn tab 7.1.0 is the furthest i got in that game. Sometimes it doesn't make it past the loading screen, other times it will get past the character selection, screen zooms into main character then locks up. had to reset the g tablet. Any other ideas?

I had the same issue a whiles back... I know the Pershoot kernel for Gingerbread and honeycomb are almost identical, so I would look at the ROM as the source of the issue, as I can play Monster Madness fine on Honeycomb. That ROM may not be able to play that specific game. If you want, you could see if clemsyn has a kernel that will work with the latest VEGAn Ginger Edition.

I'm actually on Flashback 8.1 (2.6.32.46 pershoot kernel) right now. Its the kernel it comes with. Monster Madness finally works. audio cuts in and out, but fixes itself. I completed 1st level without a freeze of FC. Thanks for your help.

Couldnt get it to work on my HC 4.0 rom either. Wont install from the market place for me and then when I finally tracked down the apk it displayed a small portion of the game told me it wouldnt run
I don't know for sure, but I would doubt it. Gameloft is really particular about what devices and programs their apps work on.
thanks guys, and yea as expected same as asphalt5 ,damn gameloft.
Hello, Acer Iconia tab owner here. Since we don't have 3.2 yet, I was wondering if one of you could please check if Tiger Arcade works now with the new zoom feature...it didn't use to scale correctly. Thanks!
I just tried Tiger GBC playing Final Fantasy Legend and it looks and runs fine.
I'm not running stock 3.2, though. I'm using the 2.0.1 Tiamat ROM.
That's great to hear! Did you even have to use the new zoom feature? For me, 3.1 on the Acer, the window is tiny, games run but are more like phone-sized. Also, what version number of Tiger Arcade was that? Thanks for the info!
or actually, just understood that you said GBC, so gameboy...alright, that's cool to hear as well, but Arcade (Mame) is what was causing my issue. Would you mind testing that?
I don't have Tiger: Arcade. It doesn't seem to be on the market anymore. Do you have apk and a game rom?
Scales great. I have a hard time finding roms that work on it though. The rom that I tested it with was "Mega Twins". All the scaling options worked great. What roms work for you?
That's great to hear! It was an unplayable small screen on 3.1, awesome. What version of Tiger Arcade is that?
For roms, I've used this: http://www.coolrom.com/roms/mame/
I've tried at least a few of the Metal Slugs and 1944, those at least worked good (as far as I could tell from the small screen). It supports gamepad too, so I'm looking forward to hooking this up to a tv and having a portable console =)
Thanks for testing! And ccossin - I couldn't find the site where I downloaded the apk right now, but I should have it bookmarked on my home machine. I can get back to you (or perhaps Mr Bland can say what version and where he got it from).
Edit: Oh yes, for many ROMs you need the "neogeo" rom as well. So that might be causing problems, remember to get that rom too.

Thanks for this.
You know what, I can't find the bookmark (I guess I didn't make one) and I couldn't locate it again although I tried googling a bit. Unless somebody else can point you to the right page for downloading it (they were pulled from the market), I can of course mail you the apk, if you'd like. Just PM me with your address and I'll send the apk over. Or if somebody else has the link for downloading the emulator, please share, it'd probably help others who come to this thread too.

It is version 1.4.4. I bought it from the market before it was removed. I haven't tried Googling it but you could try one of the alternative markets. Slideme, Andappstore, and a couple of others that are actually mostly warez but are good places to check for apps no longer available; Google should be able to help you.
looks real nice, hoping it works on s7 will try it out later today..\
https://market.android.com/details?...DEsImNvbS5tYWRmaW5nZXJnYW1lcy5zaGFkb3dndW4iXQ..
not from gameloft so theres hope.. optimized for tegra 2.
anyone gets it working let us know..
I bought it, but I have not been able to get it to run yet. Starts downloading data for the game, downloads one of 4 files, and then exits to home screen.
I was really looking forward to playing this, too.
what ROM are you on? please.. for reference.. thanks
Stock Android 2.2.2 T-Mobile 4G
downloaded 4 data files over 3G in under 10-15 minutes. I only played it for about a minute or so.. but this definetly looks like a keeper. Very nice animations. Graphics arent exactly gameloft quality.. but good enough.
Im on 2.2.2 streakdroid 1.3 GPU edition. Will prob go to honeycomb after I complete this game...
probably post back final thoughts after Im done..
Did you do anything special to get it to load the other three? I cleared the data on mine and still only got the first packet downloaded.
try mobile data instead of wifi...(if its not too much data use..)
no loaded tight up and really fast..
I have had any other game data download issues before, that was when I was on honeystreak and wi-fi.
went really fast actually. I think the data files are somewhere on the internet if you search.. hint hint..
I tried both WIFI and Data. Hmmmm.... I can take a hint..... Thank you.
this game is rocking.. im on like level 3..
my only issue so far is some of the aiming and touch, you can change the sensitivity, but I think its due to limited multi-touch screen support on streak.. paid for this one and well worth it..
I can't get it working it just closes after I start the game... WTF?
what ROM are you on?

Stock Honeycomb 3.2 ROM
I had that problem the first time I tried to load it up. Restart your Streak. If that does not work, reset. it.
Atm I am downloading SD files, will try again with new version from market....
I'm on 2.2.2 used the data from my g2x and everything works great.

pretty impressive.. worth the $.
I hope next game from these guys is even better. Im near the end I think, boss keeps teasing me.. I think im last or next to last level.
Edit: finished wow, good game. Little lag here and there, possibly my setcpu. If anyone needs a "tip" to beat Dr.Simons Exoskeleton let me know. even with a "tip" he is greuling to beat.
I'm on stock honeycomb and it's working great. I think the game looks awesome!
working on PowerVR GPUs ? like galaxy tab p1010
I am looking at buying a refurbished HP touchpad (16GB version)...what doesn't work if I put Android on it? I saw a reference to the Mic, but that wouldn't be a big deal to me. Does most everything else work on this unit? Thanks!

P.S. I did do some reading, but wasn't finding a lot of info...

A little more reading should help you make up your mind.
In the mean time, CM9, which is what I am running, runs beautifully on TP. Other than the camera and the mike issue you mentioned, everything else works fine. There are a few people with sporadic wifi issues but I am not complaining with my TP's performance.
Nowadays just camera and mic don't work. Wifi can be buggy at times but its been getting better in the latest nightlies, I don't really have issues anymore.
Even with the wifi issue, most people have had success switching their routers not to use high channels, keeping them on 6 and under.
Another thing to note is that the speakers dont work so well if the screen is turned off, having a bit of a garbled sound to them. So dont plan on listening to music on it with the screen off.

Riptide works just fine. Most gameloft games work if you spoof another device in build.prop. Some EA games can be made to work with Chainfire 3D.
I got it delivered yesterday...so far cm9 works great...I had one issue with wifi, but changing the channel to 3 seems to have fixed it...pretty happy so far.
there is also software at google play that will help with the wifi issues. look up wifi fixer, free and does the trick

apart from that i can't think of much else wrong with cm9 android on the touchpad
It is honestly the most stable alpha I have ever used on any device, using it for a month and not a single fc/freeze.
if you can afford a tablet that comes with android, your better off with that

It's perfect. Best Android ROM on any device I've had. No mic and camera, but minor, minor details.
I've just had battery 'issues' with CM9. Not really an issue, but my battery just seems to drain more rapidly than CM7 does. IE: When reading on CM9 with Aldiko for an hour, in airplane mode, it seems to drain about 20%. I guess that's normal?
CM9 works great for me on the touchpad. Only issue I personally had was not being able to hide the status bar for certain games I'd prefer fullscreen, but there are apps out there that can get rid of it.
Overall best android experience for me so far, I've got cm9 running on my Atrix as well, but that's still a bit buggy compared to this!
the magnetometer/compass doesnt work. it worked wonderful in webos, but it gets no love in android.

Sorry to veer off topic, but what do you like better in CM9 on the Atrix, compared to the current stock Gingerbread?
Back on topic, I thought that Alpha 0.6 was pretty good, then I thought Alpha 2 was awesome, and now with a recent nightly build, I think it's damn near perfect. The front camera would be nice at some point, but I don't need it right now.
awesome
I've been using android since the CM7 alpha 1 and playing around with different roms along the way since then.
I recently switched to OAT's light and tasty from the forums (CM9 based) and my TP now works just as well you'd would expect any fancy android tablet to work (without a mic or camera). Since this finally fixed my wifi issues, the tablet is now super smooth and flawless to use. Plus it has faster community updates than even the high end android tablets.
to the dude above me who's getting 2 hours of battery life, that is not normal, I can read books on aldiko for much longer than that, you should try making a backup and installing one of the most up to date releases.
