Looks great!
Glad you like it I just compared to my vibrant and colors are about even. I don't like the beige/yellowish tint the ns has and the settings in another thread didn't work for me. So... I sat my ns next to my other devices and played with the voodoo app until I was satisfied. I don't get the yellow screen at wake/sleep. Let me know if you have ant problems with these settings.

I'm pretty sure that MIUI doesn't come with Voodoo-enabled kernel by default.
how abt 2.6.37.7-g4b861e1-dirty [email protected] #3 Kernel? cuz im using this one right now ?
I donno off hand which kernel that is (2.6.37.7-g4b861e1-dirty [email protected] #3), but if it's the stock MIUI Kernel, (as mentioned), I don't think it supports Voodoo.
I don't know if you're using a regular Nexus S or Nexus S 4G, but I'm sure there are Kernels in the development section that have Voodoo support-- it'll state it in the original post of whichever kernel's thread.
If using a NS4G, both Netarchy and Matr1x kernels currently support Voodoo
hey jkhrist - looks great. Curious, how do you come up with these settings? Was it trial and error? or did you have some kind of calibration method?
Just comparison between two phones. I tried a few settingsvfrom another thread and was unhappy with the results. These are what worked for me, basically I was just trying to get rid of the stock yellowish tint. I am using nscollab cm7 rom, and settings from op seem to show more vivid on the cm7 rom. I tried same settings on superaosp8.6 and the colors seemed a bit duller. Gonna play around and test on a few other roms I have backed up. I will post back what I come up with.

Very discussed and know issue, as is the 0% brightness bug. Turn screen Animation on

I know it was much discussed but the issue only happened for me on that rom and that kernel setup. Different rom or different kernel solved it.

Which 1100 ghz kernel are you running? Is it the 125 or 250 and is it LV or SV? What kind of numbers are you pulling from Quadrant and Linpack? Are you having any reboots or other issues?
I run P3Droid's LV Kernel, I think it's 250-1100 GHz. I have had one reboot, but it happened after about an hour or so of no activity on the phone itself. I have not run any Benchmarks yet, but may do one tomorrow. Also, on a side note, LOVING HTC_IME so far.

Wiped, flashed, and got settled in with UD 6. Love the look so far. The black notification bar rocks. I'm having trouble getting the lockscreen music controls to work. Using the rotary lockscreen, tried multiple reboots after checking the option. Anyone else? Or anyone have any clue what I can do?
Music controls on rotary lock screen currently does not work with 6.0.0. Blackdroid has mentioned that it will be fixed in his next build, among other fixes.

Attached screen shot.
Thought id check this out just to see what happens. It actually does appear to overclock and make real changes phone seems much snappier like it was with eclair and my voodoo over clock kernel then i thought i perform a quadrant. Some serious increases in framerates after setting overclock to 1.3 gigaouches. And has a much higher score, seems to transfer to real world performance.
Here is a before and after screen shot one at stock 1 gighertz voodoo
The next at 1.3 gigeherts voodoo. Both superclean 2.9.2 ec10 kernel.
I also added a widget to my sccreen to see if it really does say its at 1.3 gigaherts and it does. Phone seems stable and not acting weird at all. Will probably keep using

its neat but not ideal

What he said. I like this app though even though mine works great all the way up. For someone who can't run that fast if the phone were to lock. When it reboots its back to stock. Fail safe. Not a pain to reactivate either.

What makes you cautious? Before any hardware gets messed up the phone will lock up and/or reboot then you'll be at stock speeds again. Although I haven't had any issues.
Wow. Real noticeable difference here. easy to use. Tried the 1.3 but the phone would freeze. 1.25 did thee trick for me. It sets back to default after every boot too which is pretty cool.

Why? Nothing to be scared of. I can vouch it works well my friend and not only is it zippy (on whatever setting u have it on), it also resets to default after each boot. No worries!
I know quadrents are so so and not accurate on performance, but I get higher readings on 1.5 rather than 2.0. Always score in 1900s on 1.5 and 1600 on 2.0.
actually don't like this feature...

title says it all I noticed a nice difference in real world performance as well as every type of quadrant-like program you could use to score your speed but I wish that it would start on boot so if I need to restart my phone for whatever reason I don't have to go back in and reset everything.. really really want auto boot for this.

you need to decompile the apk (i used apktool), modify res/raw/shaderv.vsh, recompile, then sign
i just modified lines 101, 102, 103 and hard-coded some values in there
make sure you use a float (ex. 1.0 as opposed to 1) but it looks like its looking for rather low numbers (0.1, 0.2, etc) because if you make:
r = 10.0 and g = 5.0 you will still end up with yellow instead of orange
weird...

Stop moving my thread on to i9000 general because nobody will notice it there.
And it's a development problem anyway since we were talking about kernels and undervolting. As you can already see, the topic is on page 2 already.
Isn't it enough that you will not make us a special forum category ? now you're trying to **** us up even more ? isn't it enough that samsung ****s us up every single time with every rom they launch, do you need to do it aswell ? stop moving my thread over there.
Now, getting back ontopic, how do i remove the undervolt from skyhigh kernel if that's what causes the problems ?
Use incredicontrol and set the voltages manually.

Change your DHCP lease time in your router from forever to 2 days. It's working for me. Many thanks to BackDaws!
Anyone who used CM7 might recall a feature buried in the settings (under display if I recall correctly) called Render Effect. It allowed you to alter the temperature of screen color as well as flat-out kill all colors but one. This allowed you to make the display go completely blue, or completely green or completely red.
Apart from being a nifty party trick, this was a feature I used routinely. Changing the display to red allowed me to use my navigation while driving at night and still preserve my natural night vision. It also was a nice thing to have enabled when the phone went off in the middle of the night.
So, does anyone know of an app/mod out there that allows us to achieve this? I really don't know why this feature was never permanently merged into the CM base, it appears to have disappeared in CM9 I think.
I have stumbled across some apps developed by ChainFire that appear to do this but unfortunately the app description specifically says it is for FroYo or Gingerbread devices only... see here

That feature has been gone for years , I have not seen a ROM with it since back in the cm7 days it was a cool Lil feature for N1 but its gone now . good luck tho, hopefully I'm wrong
IMO you can change screen colors with Franco kernel. It might be worth taking a look at.

Use Lux Auto brightness! They have a night mode that'll preserve your night vision

Sorry, no excuse. Just flat-out missed that sticky that we cannot post questions in the General forum. :-S
Thanks for all the responses though from everyone else.

If it was in cm10, it may make a comeback yet. Loads of cm features havent hit the cm 11 shores yet

Twilight is what you are looking for: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.lux
Yes, there is also lux, but twilight ist free
I'm also interested in this feature, and I've tried the "filter" apps including twilight and it is not the same at all.
Is this something that can only be done at a low level or can it happen in an app?
