Lost IMEI after Smartflah! Please HELP ME!!! - LG Optimus 2x

Hi all!
Please HELP me!
I've flashed my Optimus 2x with SmartFlash and I press "Erase CAL"
Now I've a different IMEI code!
I ask community for help!!!
Thanks to all!!!
Please HELP!!!!!!!!

no one can help me?

I thought it was impossible to change you're IMEI?

622 flashes fine when you follow the instructions!
SmartFlash for P990 is for use on Windows PCs.
To use P990 flash to flash this baseband:•Download the utility file below
•Download the driver file below
•Download the baseband file below
•Run the SmartFlashTool_P990.exe application on your PC
•Turn device off, remove battery, plug device in while holding volume down - you should see a software update message on screen and the COM port should be filled automatically in the flash application below after installing the drivers if required.
•Select the 'ROM Copy D/L' tab
•Ensure 'Normal Mode' is selected
•Ensure 'Erase CAL' is NOT selected
•Click the browse button next to 'CP Bin:' and select the baseband (FLS) file
•Click 'Start' and wait for the flash to complete

I selected "Erase CAL"
This is my error!
there are no solutions?

try this, i've found it on another forum:
Try getting default baseband your device came with, flash it again and this time CHECK THE BOX "ERASE CP" WITH PURPOSE
Click to collapse
and another 'solution':
I applied the 10b firmware using nvflash. And then flashed the 10a fw with smartflash, checked that the IMEI were back in business. And then did a new update using smartflash to 10b and now everything is back as normal
Click to collapse
So basically try to revert back to the original baseband + ril and firmware version and it 'should' work again, you maybe have to check the ERASE CP again, but I would try that if the rest didn't work. Maybe you can also try to revert back to original and update via LG tool. Give it a try...

You say "no matter what i try", but don't say what you have actually tried.
so 1st: Have you started your phone in smartflash mode? (Turn phone off, unplug any cables, hold volume-down while plugging in the usb-cable.)
I reloaded drivers software diffrent pc and new wire and also lg some sort of .kdz file that is the same code as the fido model

Trying to downgrade, but KDZ_FW_UPD_EN not working

Hi Guys, i'm trying to downgrade the phone from 20B -> 10C, however after I launch the KDZ_FW_UPD_EN, selected the V10C_00.kdz, click start upgrade, it comes out LGmobile Support tool page and says the phone already has the latest firmware. Any idea why it not start flash the firmware?
I tried on another computer also same error.
Thank you.
if u want to downdgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.2.2 you can use SmartFlashTool_External, download this one: http://www.multiupload.com/MBRIAUG5V2 (is 2.2.2 european version) and connect ur smartphone in flash mode (turn off, remove ur battery, press volumen up and connect to ur computer) then open smartflashtool, select ROM Copy D/L, select Normal mode, in CP bin u have to select one of the two files result of ur .rar from multiupload i gave u with extension .fls, in AP Bin u need to select the file with extension .bin, select in comp port the only port it ll show, in comunication driver u have to select LGE Mobile USB Serial Port in Communication Driver or similar, and then click on start. There u have, ur smartphone will downgrade satisfatory, then u can do root, then rom manager and then cyanogenmod with nova kernel =P
sry about my english, i just want to help u some way =P
Thank you. It works after using SmartFlash tool.
Pls move it to another subforum... Wrong here in DEV section...

OK, lets do it...
First you'll need the .kdz file. The firmware to flash it. Click here: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP880/ANLDWH/V10F_00/V10F_00.kdz
Next, the programs, here: http://www.4shared.com/rar/Re4VCOAS/kdz-update.html
Assuming that you already have the LG drivers installed...
1 >>>>> copy the V10F_00.kdz to the folder that you download (kdz-update).
2 >>>>> install "msxml" from the "kdz-update" folder.
3 >>>>> run "Windows Enabler" from the "kdz-update" folder, it should appear an icon on the right/bottom of your screen, if not near the others in the taskbar, you need to click on it and you should see "ON" on that icon.
4 >>>>> run "UpTestEX_mod2_marwin" from the "kdz-update" folder.
On the field "Select type" choose "CDMA - SmartPhone(WM)" (if the flash fails change it to "3GQCT - SmartPhone(WM)")
On the field "Version" (at the left) type "V10F_00".
On the field "Select model .dll" browse and select the "P880.dll" from the "kdz-update" folder.
On the field "PhoneMode" select "EMERGENCY".
On the field "Select kdz file" browse and choose the "V10F_00.kdz" that you download and should be in the "kdz-update" folder.
5 >>>>> with your phone "OFF" and the USB cable connected to the PC, press "VOL-" and connect the cable to the phone untill it turns "ON" in "S/W Upgrade".
6 >>>>> Now click on "Start Upgrade" in "UpTestEX_mod2_marwin". As soon as you see some progress in the log, put the battery on the phone, carefull to don't let it drop.
Wait until the phone reboot by it self and it should be all.
Let us know if it worked or not and, or, if you have any other problems.
Good luck!

The phone boots up but stucks at the lg logo. With 'select type: CMDA (smartphone wm) the log stops at '13:41:32 : 3GQCT : wParam = 2001, lParam = 0'. It never says complete. And with 'Select type: 3GQCT (smartphone wm) it gives an unpacking error.
Its very anoying.

Forgot to tell you, everytime you need to use the flash tool you need to close it and restart it again.
That unpacking error is because of temp. files. The program unpack the kdz file to another one where is the .dll and the .dz, doing that twice it uses to have that error.
What RuedasLocas said is correct however this:
On the field "Select type" choose "CDMA - SmartPhone(WM)" (if the flash fails change it to "3GQCT - SmartPhone(WM)")
Isn't. Keep the phone type set to 3GQCT.

@judodave, try first flash the V10A version.
My first flash went wrong and I was going crazy around the V10C and only after I flash with the V10A I was able to re-flash with the V10F.
Maybe it works with you to... at least I hope so.
Here is the link: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP880/ANLDWH/V10A_00/V10A_00.kdz
I'll flash mine (later of course) just to post a damn video of how I do it.
Good luck once more.

You'll do it. From time to time someone appears with a phone like yours. For sure is something escaping and we just don't figure out what it is.
When we start to do the same thing over and over again, we use to forgot some small procedures.
Don't worry, one of these days you'll make it.

Thanks.. it works. I just upgraded my lg p880 from v10e to v20a two days a go. Then i rooted the device. Works for two days, then it stuck at boot logo after I restarted the device. Do not know why. So far has been disappointed with the battery performance and the sound quality of this device. Hopefully the new v20a can help improve even just a bit:good:

Here you have all files needed:

TNQ...I fix my LG...and know work perfect I put 20A kdz. 4.1.2. and phone work perfect
Same problem here
I have the same problem. I think the stupid thing I did was to install V20a without rooting the phone. Now I cant root it. IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.ap would not run and when I try to recover either with LGflashboot or LG firmware recovery I get the same error message "morning call is empty" (very strange error message). I can go back to v20a but since I am not completely happy with it I would like to resolve it. Is there any chance to fix it? I am not very confident to format bootload or installing custom ROM.
Thanks

You cannot root the phone on V20a using IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk, since that file is used for versions V10x. Check out this link for rooting V20a: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180688

Uninstall all drivers and folders like "LG United Mobile Driver" and "LG USB Modem Driver".
Re-install the drivers:
http://www.4shared.com/file/rPpP2btT/LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN3.html
http://www.4shared.com/file/ZSMf2x6n/LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_WHQL_Ver_.html
Take out the battery, press "Power Button" (just to discharge all phone components), put the battery back on the phone.
Press "Vol-" and connect to PC. Wait while windows detect the device and search in windows update for possible new drivers.
Windows won't find a thing but will take some time while trying...
After that you should be OK.
Just did similar to my phone and followed the advice in this thread - now sorted. Thanks guys you rock!
if u epic fail to manually force the drivers in just install android jdk open it and update it.

I had the same problem, after running several recovery procedures and kdz files, I finally was able to restore the phone to it's original ICS rom.
Download the files in the description and follow up the video.
