I posted these skins in the HD2-Forum, but they maybe interesting also for other users, so i post them again here
No support from me, because i have no wm device at this time.
But there were so many downloads, so that other users can help you, if you have questions.
I made some skins for this version of
TCPMP for our HD2.
All tested. All only in portrait mode.
Elegance, Elegance Blue, Elegance Red, WP7 and Black, also some variations,
all in the attached package.
If you want to use them, copy the original files out of programs/TCPMP/:
fond.bmp, boutons.bmp und skin.xml in a folder on your storage card for backup.
Then copy the files in the zip folder (not the folder - only the files) into the program folder and overwrite the original files.
Start TCPMP and have fun.
A comment after testing would be good.
Black Skin (I was a little inspired of the "Devotion Taskbar" of Matt Jackson, which i use on my HD2)
If someone asks, who is the man on the picture...it´s our new german Superstar (like American Idol) Mehrzad Marashi, a really talented singer.
Look at this side and especially hear this (I´m Beggin´) or this song (Unchained Melody).
This is the winners song "Don´t Believe".
Download here and Black here.

Mort Player Skin
This is a variation of the rjblack WVGA Skin for the fantastic MortPlayer.
Bigger Cover, smaller buttons, more functional. Place the file rjblack_WVGA.mpz in the program folder of mort player. Then you can choose the skin from the program menu. The little grafic bug up in the left corner depends to the newer versions of the player. I placed the text a little more right, so this is not really a problem.
The player has alarm function, also EQ, many echoe-effects and much more settings. It has a better sound than the iPhone or the Nitrogen Player here on this board. Also it´s fingerfriendly (swipe up and down = next album/ previous album and swipe left or right previous or next track). It´s including many language versions.
Give it a chance.

I've created a skin for MortPlayer (Version 3.31 b76 onwards) that is inspired by the iPhone but deals with the small amount of screen space available on QVGA devices.
I started with ruebyi's S2P4 skin, so credit to him for his original skin.
Some of ruebyi's original graphics remain (thanks again to ruebyi - hope you don't mind), but the whole skin has been re-written to provide more dynamic interface features, such as:
Scrubber bar (tap track info at top to toggle on/off)
Full album cover view using glass controls (tap just above << || >> controls to toggle)
Play list editing (tap playlist name to edit, save or save as)
Better spacing of lists for improved finger control
The skin is implemented using 3 skin files (.MPS) the one to select from MortPlayer choose skin options is the TouchPlayer.mps, ignore the other two (TouchPlayer-part2.mps and TouchPlayer-part3.mps) these are used internally for the play list screens.
Install as normal by copying the .MPS and skin directory to the MortPlayer directory - note that it can't be operated in an .MPZ because it needs to load the part2 and part3 skins files and this doesn't work when in an .MPZ.
Some helpful hints for using the skin:
Tap the track/album info at the top to to show/hide the scrubber bar.
Tap just above the << || >> controls at the bottom to toggle between normal and transparent matte glass contrlols (better for full view of album covers)
Tap the playlist name to edit the playlist
Change the next track to currently selected track by tapping the next track on scrubber bar.
Slide left/right on cover to change prev/next track - good when in car.
Slide up/down on cover to change prev/next album/playlist.
Tap battery to exit/quit
Tap "Alarm off" at top left to set an alarm.
Tap'n'hold cover to access the MortPlayer menu
Few final notes:
it's for QVGA only, for larger resolutions devices the UI space issues are not a problem, hence the glass controls etc are not really required.
an update for WQVGA would be possible to better optimize for the taller screen, but I don't have a device WQVGA to do it with. Having said that the .MPS files just need playing with to move things up/down, anyone want to try?
its portrait only, because I never use landscape. It would be a lot of work to create a landscape view and very difficult to make a good looking full screen cover view...
Some improvements I plan:
I might change the [Playlist] button to be the same one used in the other screens, rather than a text button.
I'd like buttons for [Save] and [Save as] that are graphic and smaller, but can';t think what to use. I tried a floppy disk and didn't like it (who uses floppies anymore anyway?) amd then how to do save as...
I want to improve the alarm screen to be finger friendly (especially when you first wake up) - so big snooze, stop and cancel buttons I think, maybe in version 2...
For those of you who like crisp screenshots without JPG artifacts, see attached ZIP file
Please feel free to comment, criticise, suggest improvements, changes or any requests.
Enjoy!
Nice skin for good program(better, than these bs apps served on xdadev, for sure).
This is really a nice skin work for Mortplayer.
Thanks to you, my 2.5 years old Polaris/ Cruise is now bright and shine again.
Small thing, it crashes when the cover.jpg is too large. But I don't try to figure out is it from the skin or Mortplayer itself. Simply avoid this in the future.
Anyone interested in a WVGA version?
I've just upgraded from Tytn II to HD2. I'm not finding many WVGA skins out there and am contemplating creating a version of my TouchPlayer MortPlayer skin for WVGA.
Only problem is finding time, but during the xmas break I might have some spare time.
Would anyone else like this skin converted to WVGA? Anyone got some suggestions on layout since the HD2/WVGA screen is taller there won't be any need for buttons overlapping the cover.
Given the effort involved I'm tempted to create a totally new skin that will fit in with HTC Sense better but based on this skins design... but then again I like the simplicity of the i-phone layout...
Karl.

Yea cool skin and friendly! I had thought that the cover image was too big also, so i resized it for HTC Touch and others screens
it's raccomandable to use cover images 165x165 px
default skin cache
I've installed the latest Beta MortPlayer v3.31 b77 and found a great iPhone skin (found here). After selecting this skin, Mortplayer asks if you want to cache the current default skin for faster startup, to which I replied 'Yes'.
I've since made a change to one of the graphics within the .mpz file but MortPlayer appears to be continuing to use the cached version. I've tried selecting other skins then selecting this skin again in hopes it would reload the .mpz but with no success.
Does anyone know where this cache is located or how I can force MortPlayer to re-cache the updated skin?
Thanks in advance

I did eventually create a WVGA iphone skin for mortplayer and have been using for the last 18 months. I'm still using the WM6 and mortplayer, not sure if anyone else is though. Does anyone want a copy?

Hello ...
I use TCPMP with pleasure the software, but I find that his skin is not really suited for our i900 ... and really not fingerfriendly !
In my case, I used to watch movies, series, ... So I need some keys, quick access and easy, no frills and colors tapantes!
So I opted for a fairly minimalist display, which gives me the options, used for landscape and portrait orientation :
Open files
Play / Pause
Stop
Mute
switch to Fullscreen
Choice of skin landscape / portrait
Screen rotation
Increase / Decrease volume
Progress bar movie
Title and time
So I create a skin for that features...
Installation
Very simple ... unzip the file. rar below and copy the 3 files that are contained in the installation directory of TCPMP.

Thanks
- mainly to the creator of the i-reflects icons I used to do this skin
- myself for doing a great tutorial how to skin tcpmp (lol)

Feel free to comment !
Thanks man...Great!
Don't u think, that there are needless quotation marks in your file skin.xml ? On some phones such as i900 it might not working.

Thanks ,you should know , it's yours
Seeing the title of your thread I was afraid it was another ugly blue theme, but this in fact looks very good!
Blue squares is getting boring

thanks! If you are interested, I posted yesterday in my icon/wallpaper topic for these themes how you can set S2P player in it directly.
Feel free to use it, because it is working awesome!
What kind of coding do you need more?
Cheers,
Arnold
Thanks ,I'll go have a look
Good to have a VGA wp7 theme!! Thanks..
Edit : Please make the animation a little(x2) faster..
I'll see what I can do.
great theme, few changes i would like to suggest.
1.) add another option at the bottom of the home screen for email.
2.) in the scroll menu have the icons transparent like the main screen in stead of blue.
3.) Get rid of xbox live (its just a theme) just call it games.
4.) on the main screen where the clock is add the weather there
5.) can you let us know what is working and what is not, that way we won't get any surprises and will be able to fix some of the issues
For whoever tries to convert this wvga can you combine two of the pages from the image, the image that has pictues/phone and the other one music + video and games. Like have that as one long page so we scroll down to get the bottom dunno if that is the case with the vga version.
Hey,
I made a mp3 player-ish page in WAD2 which I now use.
It's better than the last music things. Costed me like 2 hours but it works fantastic using S2P player in background. If you want, feel free to use it in your theme.

The first post (#101)
Cheers,
Arnold
dude amazing just tried it on my omnia and it worked just fine. The only thing it needs to fit wvga is add to more tab at the bottom of the screen and in the sub menus like game bigger font.
1.Thanks to all the replies, I`m good at graphics not coding for WAD 2, feel free to change the theme as you like, I have no problems with that, as long as you post the results here in XDA (see this theme as open source)
Mostly all pages have to get shortcuts to files & folder. Anyone can change the layout as he pleases. Grids also have to be added or altered.
2. Arnold ,once again very nicely done , I'll go and have a look.
The fist S2P script worked great so i'll surely use this again
Beautiful theme!
1.Currently busy with game page & office layout and will post as soon as possible
2.Testing Arnold's music script
3.Replaced game icon ,if someone wants to change clock and weather they are welcome to it.
really nice "deviation/varient"...
WP7 is not out , lot of user are already boring... boring.... So funny...
You got a nice back stylish concept.... kee it up good work...
I have made an audiobook-friendly skin for Mortplayer, similar the one that was made for Android.
The Key Features are - Easy access to "Add Bookmarks" and "Manage Bookmarks".
Just unzip and place the file in Mortplayer root.
Hi sweborn,
that looks cool. This skin have a very fingerfriendly touch. I will test it on my player and possib;le i will do some tests for GTX. When i have some things i will send it to you.
Hey all,
I would like to share a skin that I have created for the fantastic music player application MortPlayer. Over the years this forum has been incredibly useful to me and this is my way of saying thank you / giving back to the community
There are some very nice MortPlayer skins out there, however I was unable to find one that worked nicely in windowed mode in WM 6.5.x (WVGA). I like to see the notification bar at the top for messages etc, however every skin I tried had an annoying gap due to the smaller top bar of 6.5.x (start menu at bottom), didn't utilise the screen space or was mis-aligned. I like editing stuff and so I decided to create my own!
It was made in the style of the other 'white' HTC sense applications (hence the skin name), like HTC Calculator, FM Radio, MP3 Trimmer etc. I'm OCD about these sorts of things, I like everything to match. The bottom bar is therefore also visible. When I say created, in fact I mostly just re-used the images of the HTC applications from my \Windows folder, and re-arranged / edited them to make a skin, mostly from MP3 trimmer.
It is designed for WVGA, but I guess it wouldn't be too hard to edit for WQVGA by halving all the dimensions / images. I have since created a version that should work with WVGA WM5/6/6.5 ROMs as well, allowing for the bigger top menu bar. I don't have one of these installed to test it though.
There's some screen shots of the skin on my Touch Pro2 attached below.
Pressing the 'screen' area of the player (where the album art, track name, artist etc. is displayed) takes you to the playlist screen. Pressing the "Music Library" title bar on either screen takes you to the Open dialog, I just named it that because it looks nice You could probably change this in the skin file if you wanted to.
Versions:
HTCWhite.zip - for WM6.5.x,
HTCWhiteWM6.5.zip - for WM5/6/6.5
HTCWhiteUpdated.zip - only use if HTCWhite.zip doesn't display properly for you, i.e. the open screen has the top cut off (WM6.5.x)
Installation:
Simply download one of the attached ZIPs, depending on your ROM (explained above). You can then either just change the extension from .zip to .mpz and copy the file to the MortPlayer installation directory on your phone, or unzip the ZIP and copy the contained .mps skin file and folder. It's probably best not to change any of the file / folder names in either case. Then select it from within MortPlayer and enjoy
Looks great. Thanks!
You're welcome
UPDATE:
Added a version for WM5/6/6.5

Hi jamiemckee,
it looks like the older style of GTX. Fantastic skin. I allways use this player because all the AC-3 issues. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Awesome skin for an excellent player. Thanks mate!
No problem
UDPATE:
After upgrading to a new ROM, for some reason the open dialogue of my skin does not display properly, it cuts off some of the top. I can't for the life of me figure out why, it's the exact same MortPlayer cab I used to install it on my old ROM, and the same version of windows, and the same skin file.
Anyway, if you're also having this strange problem, I've added an updated version to the first post that fixes the issue. If the original one works fine for you, then just ignore me
